Great video! One niggle though: when you say "1x lens" you are really saying "200mp sensor." When you say "5x lens" you are really saying "50mp sensor." When you take a 50mp shot with 1x lens, your shot is pixel binned from large image into a smaller one, allowing for a whole of improvements such as less noise and better (i.e. fewer artifacts) sharpening.
I have literally been looking for someone with your kind of expertise to do this review because im on the lookout for a new phone. Keep up the great work mate!
Great video! I haven't seen anyone talk about this, but the 200MP from the Samsung looks awful to me. I would describe it as a 24MP image, AI upscaled with the sharpness slider all the way up lol. I was really disappointed when I tested it out myself in a store.
It would be great if you could compare RAW files, just to see if things like the sky and some of blurry areas is because of image processing on the devices
Cool comparison, but I would have liked to see more side-by-side of zoomed in. For example, when you compared Samsung's 200mp with iPhone's 24mp, I would have liked to see the Samsung zoomed into a specific area, and the iPhone zoomed into the same specific area, so you can really see if there's any difference when it comes to that.
You might be getting over sharpened images from the s24 ultra because you are shooting in expert raw which isn’t a true raw file similar to proraw on iPhone. Shooting in pro mode should allow you to have a true raw file unless they removed it for some reason.
If you could compare the S24 Ultra's native camera app 50Mpix RAW files to the 15 Pro Max's native camera app 48Mpix RAW files, that would be fantastic. Cause I personally felt like there is quite a significant difference between the two.
Than you have to compare the 48Mp Heif to the JPG from Samsung. In the iPhone is no reason to shoot JPG at the moment. Heif is a clear win in every situation. If Samsung can not use Heif it is her own fault. @@ZJMichaels
@@ZJMichaels What is the point of shooting 12MP with iphone whe its always ganna be oversharpened and more AI processing. 48mp is the only good thing about iphone 15 pro so you should maybe do it again properly.
Now that we call a review and it should always be done by professionals or workers from that field not some random so called tech ytber getting paid by Samsung to do biased reviews one guy was showing see different outside it was glare test so it was minute but i saw a tempered glass in iPhone and while in s24 it was raw screen when he turned sideways it was clearly visible then with being 4M sub channel i was shocked
I can’t believe you did all this comparison and didn’t use iPhones 48 megapixels raw pictures! They are so detailed and there’s no eversharpening! Nice job🤮🤮
Check the video description for gear discounts, my gear list, and more. Thanks for watching!
this video is better than any other comparison video i've ever seen. i don't understand why your channel doesn't have many subscribers.
Great video. Would really like to see a comparison between the raw files of both phones!

My pleasure!

I'm just happy to have the chance to watch this video. Both did very good and similar in those photos. Very nice comparison, thank you. 😊
great, i was looking for someone with more knowledge ab photography comprasion this phones cameras. thanks a lot
Now as a photographer, which one would you recommend? Your thoughts are very important.

I would like to see a comparison with a pixel 8 pro.

Please make a video in iphone raw vs samsung raw photos.

these camara comparisons are great... i would like a camera comparison now that the s24 ultra got the update, it is said that it got better.
i hope you don't quit the channel and continue making good video

Haz un video pero con las configuraciones mas profesionales que puedas. Usa los modos raw y editalos a tu mejor gusto
Esa es una buena sugerencia. Gracias
Please, can you dropped the file of results images?
nice comparison
Nice video friend stay strong
Thanks, you as well
Thank you! Why didn’t you compare 50MP S24U vs 48MP iPhone? Only 50MP vs 12MP
For some reason I was thinking the iPhone didn’t shoot 48MP jpeg files, but I probably should have just shot some raw files at 48MP to compare with.

When you shot this video Samsung did not have a normal updated firmware yet, so at the moment it takes much better pictures.
Samsung definitely won this test by roughly 20%..
Oversharpening Kings 🤴 Now both looks horrid after apple decided to higher the sharpening in updates. 👎🏻
It’d be nice if there were a way to turn it off
@@ZJMichaelsin Samsung, you can download camera assistant and set the picture softening to middle or strong to get a less over sharpened image.
@@erick-gd7wo i don't think camera assistant affect expertraw app, am i mistaken ?
Samsungs have a sky problem.

I'll probably do a Raw vs Raw comparison in a future video, likely after then next iPhone is released
