- Breaking down Michelle Khare's pre-fight training and her full fight against Andrea Botez. I trained Michelle Khare primarily in a 12-week fight camp and gave her advanced boxing tips until her match with Andrea in the creator clash 2. In this video, I will share tips and tricks that I never shared here on RUclips, these are boxing trade secrets that only high-level boxers know.

Wind up Chickens... & Roy!
Great coaching. You shouldn't be too hard on yourself with that first spar. No one knows how they're going to react when they get hit. She got rattled but didn't quit. Well done both of you
Sold on creator clash and creator boxing. What a great time for the sport of boxing. EDIT: Forgot to ask the question 😅.
Michelle’s opponent came out after and said that she only had two months of training while Michelle had a year. She was upset that Michelle hid this. Your thoughts on this? My thoughts is she’s just trying to soften the blow of a loss. If you agree to step in the ring there’s no rule on how good you can be.
This is off-topic but I'm self-taught in boxing, Im pretty sure I'm a southpaw but I feel very comfortable in unorthodox too, I kick with my left but I'm right-handed is there any way to tell which is my more dominant stance?
wow
Will always be grateful for you taking a chance on me, and the massive impact you’ve had on my life as an athlete and beyond!
You did amazing! 💥👊😉
Keep yourself healthy, be disciplined outside the ring and don't get yourself injured.
Fantastic job and loved the attention to small details, specially mind games pre fight
Girl you did great for none a none experience boxer !
You look levels above 😄👌
You make me smile few times but that fifth round was the one you shine jjaja 😁
Michelle I'm very happy for you! You're awesome and doing terrific! Keep going and don't ever get discouraged, stay confident. You got this!
I love how she went into beast mode after she got her nose broken. Yes... that's something you can't train physically. That's a mental thing which can be trained by other means. It's strongly based on your deepest perceptions of ourself and life itself. Tons of respect out to both fighters and thanks to you for taking the challenge to train Michelle.
We all have that trigger in us especially if u are a well trained athlete , for me is any jab on my chin, if i feel the punch i just enter in that zone
You took the words right out of my mouth, Tony! I had over 65 amateur fights, won a tough man contest as the oldest competitor at 40 and been in with world champions, and I
was greatly impressed by her Courage especially ii being her First fight! 👍🏻💪🏼👊🏻👊🏻
a normal person will turn their back and be defeated. Fighters are not normal people!
U can train that easily. Really depends on the fighter.
@@lolicongang.4974 That's exactly what I said. But I wouldn't say "easily". As you wrote: it depends on the fighter. Some people tap into this potential with a lot less effort than others.
BRILLIANT COACHING to stop the first spar. So many gyms push people in that situation and cause boxers unnecessary injuries. Amazing to see a coach be so responsible for their fighters welfare and learning. For me that's the best lesson in the whole video.
As long as a student has a strong desire to achieve. You have to nurture their confidence.
That's how you bring them along. You have to be careful not to deflate their confidence and desire to become a better fighter.
I was so impressed by the same thing. Just call it a day for physical work, get your fighter checked out, and help them get mentally back into the right space. Don't judge them or shame them.
I had a terrible coach in that case lmao. Dude seriously tried to get me to sign up for another month cuz everybody was quitting.
The exact thing happened to me. My first sparring for BJJ, the other girl was just much much better and it had to be stopped. I was a bit hurt and was also very embarrassed but my coach was just like this thankfully and it got better 😊. I think without good coach you would just quit.
Been watching both you and Michelle for so long. This is the best collab I have seen in so long, the victory is both a testamite to your coaching and her work ethic. Well done all!
Appreciate it Kevin 🙏🏻
Same here! Love both channels! Ive learn some techniques from Tonys videos and they work like a charm! I box as part of my workout. But Tonys videos have help3d me a lot ❤
Good job tony bro
You are great as a coach man i can see you inspire more great athletes in future seriously. Just be careful not to make mistake and let someone go too hard on the first few spars. It can break someone's confidence really bad, as you said it is probably best if you spar with them at first light spar just braze the head get them used to it than after that sparing partner. It is big difference when someone gets used to it, they wont drop that easy.
Michelle really trained hard for this fight. Kudos to her because boxing is not an easy sport. Many people already died because of boxing and this sport is not for everybody. It is only for a few people who have courage and doesn't lose determination. May God bless you Tony Jeffries.

Thanks ma man, means a lot. Have you watched the full video?
@@Tony_Jeffries😂
If you watch from Andrea's point of view (Botez Live), the things Tony taught her about winning the psychological battle were key, particularly the killer stare and how to work in clinches and come out of them when the referee calls break, pushing the rules but getting into the opponent's head.
Andrea said that she knew what she needed to do,heard her coaches, but those tactics made her forget because they were more immediate than plans or words.
As someone who have competed and train in combat sports for years, the one thing I’ve learned and love about it is it forces you to face the truth.
The truth of who you are. Fighting will expose you to you. You will know if you are a warrior or a coward. You will face all the fears you have ignored. All doubts you have about yourself will come forward.
No yes men, no false confidence, no bullshit you have been feeding yourself will help you. It’s about fighting your weakest self and facing your truths as much as it is about you fighting your opponent.
Your training is only as effective as the will power and determination of the person being trained. Props to this young lady. She has dog in her, she was determined, she wanted it, she went for it.
We love that kind of dedication in our gym. Sooo many people quit because they don't want to be a fighter. She wanted to be a fighter, you made her a fighter, but you couldn't do it if she didn't want it. It takes a lot of courage to face the unknown in the ring the first time. Mad respect for this young woman.
Your training increased her confidence a 100%. She went from fearful to fearless beast mode!
LOVE IT ❣
She absolutely smashed it. Such a great person to take a chance on Michelle and she paid you back ten fold with just her dedication alone. Brilliant.
I can't lie, I boxed amateur for a few years in my late teens, and often have a tendency to jump in with my (very limited) knowledge and act like I've got two dicks.
I found myself writing Michelle off just because she's a RUclipsr (the Jake Paul effect...) before she'd even begun training.
I was pleasantly surprised to see a familiar hunger to be better, and once I remembered me at that stage, I instantly became a supporter.
I _identified_ with her, and kinda felt a bit envious of her youth, and having it all to look forward to, instead of looking BACK on...
she's just a normal woman who wants to try her hand at boxing, and I should be supporting that, not knocking them down.
I apologise, and will strive to be better.
All the best to you both.
Takes a lot to admit that! You just levelled up in life :)
i think you also underestimated the amount of wealth she has.
unlike you she had enough money to not work for a living, and to hire a professional chef to cook all her meals, and a professional boxing coach to train her.
with the right amount of money, there's very little you cannot do.
@@sabin97 It still requires a lot of hard work and determination to do. You can't just take anybody and give them resources and see these kinds of results.
@@theauthenticwaffle651 of course it does.
but it doesnt matter how much of a hard worker you are and how much determination you have.
if you need to work for a living you wont have the time of energy to train properly. also you wont have the money to hire a professional chef to cook all your meals and a professional trainer to train you.
so you get far better results being rich and half-assing it, than not being rich, and thus not having the opportunity to even give it a try.
seems like money is the most extreme limiting factor.
@The Alpha Pill
of course i'm not wrong. i was already wrong about something this year. it's extremely unlikely to happen twice in a year.
not sure if you understood what i said.
i didnt say/imply that if you have money you can be jr.
look for example at the blond piece of sht.....paul or logan something. he was beating up noobs, until he decided to try against an actual boxer, and got his ass handed to him EASILY.
because boxing people like me is not even remotely close to boxing boxers.
anyway my point was rather simple.
someone rich who hires a professional chef to cook all his meals and hires a professional trainer to train them, and half-asses the training will do far better than someone who has to work for a living and tries boxing.
because the person who has to work for a living doenst have the energy or time to properly train, and doenst have the money to hire a professional chef to cook all their meals and a professional trainer.....
The orignal video, push my motivation to start boxing, I'm 40 years old, and still out of shape, but, I want to go, to learn, to become a better me, to wakes up the beast, to find confidence. Seeing Michelle change like that, but also, seing all the small bits that matters during the training was awesome. I'm so happy that you did this video too, thank you so much
7:16 she’s like Rocky Balboa!
Michelle’s videos like all of em are just something outta this world, brings every emotion ever, the nostalgia here was epik
This is inspiring! Hard work and dedication. I always say lead by example maybe other influences will see this and understand the time, effort and dedication to put into a camp. if you truly wish to put your skill set to the test and to go above and beyond . Truly remarkable. Respect to her and her journey. Hopefully we see her in another fight !!
Well said!
and money.
LOTS of money.
Tony for me it is a clear as a sunny day that you are not only an awesome coach, but a wonderful person!!! Greetings from a Kyokushin Karate guy who watches all of your boxing videos and takes notes!
I've just now finished the video on Michelle's channel. What a sensation that was. Great coaching and team effort, and of course Michelle was a beast in the ring. I'll shut up and get on with watching the video now 😆
6:50 I really appreciated what you said here! Doesn't take anything away from her incredible mindset and dedication, but it's a fact that most people are not able, for various reasons, to get all the help she gets.
I dont really know her background but apperently she has a pretty successful career outside of boxing so i would not consider it luck that she is in a position where she can reach out to people like Tony. You are right that most people can not get that kind of help but how many of those people set themself up as a famous content creater befor they start training?
I'm slightly confused by the responses. I never said she wanted to become a professional boxer; I know she is a RUclipsr who does challenges (I watch her channel). I appreciate her commitment and hard work.
All I said is that most people don't get this kind of help in general.
@@sofienummers English is not my first language so maybe its just a misunderstanding but since you used the word "fortunate" i thought thats implying it is based on pure luck that she can have that kind of training and with that i disagree because she had to put in some work to even get into that position in the first place.
@@tatumergo3931 Well im over the whole blame game tbh. I know the world is shit, the ones in charge never have good intentions and most people dont care about any of this but it doesnt even bother me anymore. I make sure that my kids will be raised properly and what other people do is none of my business. Anyway i dont want to turn this into a political discussion. Im just glad my understanding of the word "fortunate" seems to be correct.
@@monkeyboy275bobo8 English is also not my first language 😅 So I now get where the confusion came from! I'll see if I can change the word to something more appropriate :)
Maybe my favorite video you've done to date. Super inspiring to see a somewhat "regular" person to go through the whole journey from starting to train to actually fighting.
As a life-long martial artist & hardcore fan/student of the Sweet Science, I'm as old school as it gets (emphasis on "old" 😂) but IMO this all has been a net positive for the sport. It's been great seein' legit folks like yourself bridging the gap & introducing a whole new generation/ demographic to the sport we love! Well done. Cheers !
Tony looks so proud, hell yeah. Good for this lady bettering herself and getting in the ring too ❤
Very proud mate 🥊
Tony’s sheer enthusiasm for himself in this video is hilarious. 😂 Good for you Ton, you looked great in the doc!
It's crazy!! This MAN is a rolemodel for us all. Humanity at the highest level!
Love this man.
I love to see anybody get into a fight.
Not because I like to see people getting hurt.
I like to see people realise they are made of more than they thought when they go to a bad place.
Honestly seeing someone overcome a fear or get into a scary situation and overcome it... that shit brings me to tears almost.
I sparred for the first time yesterday, coach told us to go 40% power and he went 100%, after third round I got a knockdown with a left uppercut to the body.
Stuff like that just changes your self perception entirely.
There are a lot of folks that need a punch in the face to stay humble too lol
Real talk
She did impressive. She had good IQ & combos & power punch. Can't believe what she achieved in such a short amount of time. Especially her mentality. Went from getting knocked down in sparring & tearing up to getting a broken nose & seeking revenge especially in her first fight. I love the mind games & non stop punches in the clinch to get the points. If she decides to go pro & continue improving her craft, she could really make a name for herself in a few years
LOVE that you took a chance on coaching her!!! super inspiring to start boxing because of this thank you!
Really great video Tony. I love the break down and analysis of the training camp and the fight. You did a fantastic job with Michelle, but she strikes me as one of those people who will succeed at anything she puts her mind to; she's a real inspiration for anyone looking to achieve their goals. It was good to meet you at CC2 and I really appreciated the nice things you said about Jack's fight with Dakota. Aside from my boy's fight, this one was the highlight of the night for me. Both girls showed true grit and determination and were a credit to influencer boxing. I hope Jack continues to participate in the sport so we can continue to participate in great events like this. Hope to see you again soon pal.
A little side note. He’s your go to guy for boxing.
Wether you want to actually box or want to do non contact for fitness.
He covers the why’s and how’s in a precise manner. Very good communicator also.
I’m as old as water (67) and actually do KM. I’m early in the process.
I’ve followed his videos and applied things and am very much on my way in my opinion.
More epic and inspiring than most modern films. 50 minutes of pure pleasure, thanks for the great content
watched the whole videos and I was throwing my hands up watching michelle box in the final fight. Wow what a transformation. She looked like a real pro out there. Great job Tony and great job Michelle Khare. You're a fighter and a champion.
from the shock in the initial sparring session to fighting through the broken nose. what a journey. hats off
WOW! I have SO much respect for her! You can tell how much she wanted this and the walls she had to break down mentally to overcome any fears and obstacles. Absolutely outstanding first time performance! Great work Michelle and Great work coaches!
this was so well thought out, im glad i clicked because it give me a whole new way to perceive art and give me things to look out for! Thanks so much for making this 🙏🏾🙏🏾
You were such an incredible coach! You’re not only a great teacher of the technical skills but also mindset. Her hard work matched with your masterful coaching of course Michelle was going to win!
The collab that we never expected but we needed!!!! I love watching yours and Michelle vidieos, they are very Inspiring and motivating, thanks a lot once again!
This is what i needed. I have my ameture debut mma fight coming up. So motivated 🙌 💪
I've not watched boxing since the 90's n haven't boxed myself since early 2000's, I must admit watching Michelle really made me want to go training!!! She's awesome!!!
That is absolutely lovely to watch. Huge respect, to everyone involved. The seriousness, the discipline, the will, the knowledge and hard work. Those are thing we should embrace more often. This has been a glorious journey to watch, keep it up❤💪🏼
Understanding the process of building up from the ground as a fighter is incredibly rare. So many coaches would put you in to that first spar and pull you straight off the canvas into drills. Giving a chance for it to be a lesson and steeling her resolve is phenomenal mentorship
Hey there Tony what's poppin'? Tony your fight tips actually work! A few days ago I had a street fight with someone. I just followed your tip to show confidence and no fear. When that guy saw this, he just cooled down and went away! Tony you ARE a life-saver 😊👍🥊
@Tom poor attention seeker 🤭🤭🤭
@Tom you are just an attention seeker. Nothing more...
Absolutely loving this, you guys both are amazing, hats off!
you are great tony!!YOU DID TRAIN EXCEPTIONALLY WELL..and both of you totally deserved the win.OUTSTANDING WORK TONY.I RECENTLY STARTED TO LEARN HOW TO BOX AND your channel actually has been a blessing for me!!!thank you for your work.
Ur content is soo good, ive learnt so much
Thanks ma man, let me know if you got any questions to this video, or about the training camp 👊
I hope you see this. Respect to Michelle for the true transformation. But honestly I believe her working with you and your team made the real difference. Her video was GREAT, but the engine behind that effort and hard work was your vision and genuine leadership. Your content is equally amazing and top quality. You're seem like a real down to earth gentlemen. Keep it up, mate!
@@tatumergo3931 - blah, blah, blah! Let Tony have a moment! Tyson is the greatest fighter ever, aptitude and attitude. Would he have ever been a world champion without Cus? I seriously doubt it. * I gave props to Michelle but Tony was being really humble. He gave her a lot more than others would or could have given the time and circumstances.
@@tatumergo3931 - Respect. But I agree with Tony that these exhibitions have shed a good light on the sport and the process. From the perspective of RUclips, it was really professional content with honest effort put in from both sides. Have a great day!
Tremendous piece of work. When Michelle does things, her commitment is total. It was so good that she found you to help her realise this particular ambition. Sunderland's very own.
Your videos have helped me develop as a student of MMA, I learn so much about boxing from them and my standup game has benefited greatly.
Firstly so so much respect to Michelle, i boxed in the army and it takes huge balls to get into that ring, the walk to the ring always feels uphill, the stairs into the ring seem like a mountain to climb its a huge amount of preasure and in your case in front of millions that takes Kahoonas, secondly to Tony what an awesome coach well done sir, love your video and well done to you and Michelles other coaches what a great team. Well done guys
Michelle and you all as a team were AMAZING!!! I was glued to my chair...

Wow! Tony for president! You really inspire me! Wish all trainers and coaches were like you...Keep up the good job! Thanks for sharing.... 👍
You sir Mr Tony are a very good coach 👏. You understand the sport inside out please continue to touch the lives of the athletes you have trained and those you will in the future 👍🏼
Wow! Thanks a lot, Tony, a lot of useful coaching information ❤❤❤ And the girl did amazing job and she's got her mojo 💪🏽
Great video and an excellent way to show what real boxing training with sparring entails. The only thing that might have been done better is if a boxer's first sparring session is done with the coach so that the coach can gently introduce her to being hit in the head and body. The first time you get hit is always the roughest, regardless of how hard or light. I think once that hurdle is crossed getting hit won't be as scary and she can take on sparring partners. And maybe just body sparring for the first couple of spars as well.
Absolutely great! Loved every second of it! The progress is crazy and an awesome fight!
I think what's really important: Most people watching those RUclipsrs are not even close to boxing. Getting them exposed to Boxing is worth a lot :)
PS: Was really surprised when Gotham Chess got involved ^^
WOW!! WHAT A GREAT VIDEO!! Y'ALL HAD ME BALLING AT THE END!! SO INTENSE

Outstanding! Edge of my seat content…love boxing and what a fight!
I love the part where you were just throwing mits inches in front of her face. A huge part of combat sports is being comfortable just outside your opponent's range. The only way I've found to develop this skill is sparring.
You can have perfect technique and outstanding cardio but, if you've never actually fought before, you're gonna be sucking wind in 45 seconds.
Fantastic stuff, loved it!
She came a long way from training in that short amount of time actually I'm highly impressed you did one hell of a job congratulations to the both of you.
You guys are so inspiring!! Michelle has truly inspired me!
Awesome! Thank you!
