I know Im randomly asking but does anybody know a trick to log back into an instagram account..? I stupidly forgot the account password. I appreciate any assistance you can give me!
@Baylor Dylan I really appreciate your reply. I found the site thru google and im in the hacking process atm. Takes quite some time so I will get back to you later when my account password hopefully is recovered.
For the justification part, we basically restate more clearly what we've already written in the analysis section right? We don't really add new information? Thank you very much for the videos!
Never, you have already gained marks for those points already, so restating them won't gain you more marks, instead you should show judgement as explained in the video or talk about short term or long term effects, never repeat the same thing again
How many paragraphs (starting point) do you suggest for long answer questions like 16/24 mark questions. The answer needs a range so should you write 2 with confidence there both right or 3 just in case one is wrong as no range limits you to low marks..
You’ve said why price isn’t good, we will have put this in the main bulk of the answer, so do we report ourself’s or do we say another reason why price is important. ?
So like in this question I have to define the marketing mix then write two pars that price is important factor then state however business with inelastic demand wouldn't be affected with price even in recession and if they have brand name .... And in the conclusion part I have to give my opinion for example I can say that price is important for if recession is long term and if the product has different substitute hence competitors may reduce price hence decreasing volume of sells for. The business right ? Kindly answer as I'm confused and have my caies in just some days
Hello Sir. I would like to know whether we can add case studies from real life situations into our essay..Or are we strictly supposed to only apply to the given case study?..e.g the case study in the exam pertains to a business that deals in motor vehicles, therefore could we compare it to a real life case study i.e Toyota, Mercedes etc..?
I'd have to see the context, as it would depend on what you'd discussed earlier in the answer. Consider it like this though; if you were asked 'Is PRICE the most important element of the marketing mix for Business X' and you'd written a nice paragraph outlining why price is important and a second paragraph explaining that PROMOTION might be even more important, I wouldn't write a conclusion where I decided that PLACE was the most important, as I hadn't discussed that element of marketing anywhere in my answer. However, if you concluded that PROMOTION was more important to business X than price was, it might be your justification for reaching that conclusion is something that you haven't discussed yet (such as mentioning that Business X sells products that are price inelastic). I wouldn't really consider this a new point though, just a justification of your conclusion Hope that makes sense.
I guess that might vary from uni to uni, but the video is really about how to demonstrate evaluation, which should be a transferable skill that can be applied to any course.
In a 12 marker for igcse AS level business can the conclusion analysis be the same as what is already written previously on the essay or does the analysis in the conclusion have to be different from what is already written?
has to be different 100%. examiners hate it if you repeat the point as youve already stated it and its a waste of time. Think of another point that works with your opinion and then explain that.
So in a conclusion you make your judgement You justify it- however how is this done, do you need to use new evidence? What is the justification 2, is that further support? do i need to use new evidence and points in the conclusion?
You need to explain why one options is better than the other option or why one idea is more relevant than another option. For example, if the question was 'should Business X focus on market development or new product development', you'd write a paragraph analysing market development, a paragraph analysing new product development, and then you'd make a judgement - which would be better for the business in question? You'd then need to justify this judgement. For example, does the winning option fit better with the firm's core competencies? Is this a business with weak finances and the winning option would be cheaper? Is the business under pressure to provide greater returns to shareholders and the winning option would return profits quicker? Have rivals already pursued one of these strategies and so Business X needs to imitate it to remain competitive? Obviously, the justifications are heavily dependent on the circumstances of Business X, I was just trying to give you an example of what 'justifying' a conclusion might entail. Bringing in a new point in the conclusion is perfectly valid. In earlier paragraphs, you will probably have been analysing the strengths and limitations of each side of the argument whereas in the conclusion you want to directly compare the two options to set out which is preferable. Often, this requires you to make a different point to those made earlier. Ideally, you would have a couple of different justifications as to why you reached your conclusion.
Yeah okay, my confusion is, in the main body you would have already used a point with analysis to say why one thing is better than another so in the conclusion youre doing the same thing with new points
Can someone please tell me in bullet points how to tacle this question before arriving at the conclusion part ? 🙏 Like what are the main ideas to be discussed and analysed

2 points plus conclusion - but you're right, these points need to be true/accurate

Isn’t justification in the conclusion just reiterating what points you’ve made in the main body paragraphs?
Is it ajim

Justifying
It depends on
Most importantly

You can put this in paper 1 and 2 for definition and add the examples
You get additional mark as applications

In a level evaluation need level 3 evaluation so when we are putting advantages and disadvantages we need gave reason why right?
Do you think introducing a completely new point in the conclusion is acceptable?
I'd have to see the context, as it would depend on what you'd discussed earlier in the answer.

Do you have any sample answers that we can read?
we cant use direct evaluations in edexcel alevels anymore :(

My friend; that is where you are wrong...
can this be applied for business course in university too???
I guess that might vary from uni to uni, but the video is really about how to demonstrate evaluation, which should be a transferable skill that can be applied to any course.
What is the difference between evaluation nd conclusion?
you evaluate in a conclusion

How long should a conclusion be roughly?
From what I have been told, it should be around 1/3rd to 1/4 of your answer -- in terms of both marks and size.
I thought we weren’t supposed to involve our own opinion ( I’m taking edexcel as levels )
