ty my friend, I love the natural stuff and you've made me really happy, ill be buying some Turf solve. Keep up the great work and keep those great videos coming. Regards Keith Smiley.
Does turfsolve deter earthworms? My grass is getting destroyed by the casts they are leaving. It’s early October and it will only get worse. I have aerated the soil but it looks absolutely trashed with the casts and the rain.
Very helpful and interesting video to see how well the organic products applied will work. I have some turfsolv myself for maintenance and health really but will be interested in the follow up in a few weeks to see the recovery. Looking at it, the lawn looks to be in good condition to me and probably doesn't need the renovation. Not much thatch. Another helpful video Shaun 👍👍
Thanks Graham, I will probably renovate in Spring.. too much to do lol. With turfsolv apply then again after 3 days then once a month is what they advise for best results. Cheers!
I have an infestation of night crawlers. I know, they're good for the soil, right? Unless you have way too many and they create a lumpy bumpy lawn with dead spot where the worm castings have smothered the lawn underneath. Is there anything you can do for too many night crawlers?
There may be worm suppressants available but many area banned here in the uk a soil conditioner may irritate them a bit so they come up out, or sometimes down
Hi I am always looking at your vids and find them very informative thankyou.i do have a very big problem with black and red ants in the grass in the region of 30 -40 areas. I have used so many different powders and hosing their dirt mounds. But alas I can't get rid of them We can't sit on the grass they climb up chairs, the grandchildren can't play on the grass with their toys, tents blow up pools because they get bitten. What's the best thing to use if there is any now that we can't use the appropriate stuff to kill them, please
Hi this will be a starting point ruclips.net/video/M7lWY6vIWnQ/видео.html. but what Im finding now and telling people are that the diatomaceous earth, or ant gone seem to have some effect.. but with so many you've got to repeat many times.. Put your spade into the mound, wiggle back and forth and pour the powder down the front of the spade
Not sure if you know but if you hold onto the grey part on the hose sprayer and twist the yellow end part it adjusts the spray and turns it off so you don't have to remove the nozzle
I found a couple of these grubs when putting my stepping stones down the dog ate a couple, but I’m currently levelling and re seeding my lawn. Should I wait to treat it.
Hi if the lawn seems happy enough you might have just had one or two.. many lawns do.. it becomes an issue if things start going brown. At the same time therea no problem in actually applying a treatment
Hi buddy, I've 2 patches of Yarrow in my garden which I've been trying to dig out much of the summer , been fairly successful but still popping up. Any solution to this problem you know off or do I continually try and root out? Thanks in advance
Glad I read this. I have tiny yarrow plants all over my newly seeded lawn. Must have been in the soil I bought or compost! Never had it before I renovated the lawn ...grrrr.
There aren't many options sadly. This isnt a cure but it does reduce numbers. You could also try the black pvc sheet method... saturate the lawn, lay thick black sheeting down and put bricks on it to weigh it down and keep it dark underneath.. then first thing in the morning lift it off and you should see some there which can be picked up or swept off.
@@LawnRight - Started to see a huge amount of castings on my rear lawn. Just done my rear lawn with the black PVC sheeting over 3 nights. Must have got close to 100-120 grubs out over the 3 nights. Just cut it short and then a dosage of Turf-Solve. Will have to wait and see if it improves. Can you get 5L of Turf-Solve ?
@@paulstaniford8622 hi yes you can. I dont have any myself at the minute but you can get direct from turfsolvuk.com.. that's a good result on the black sheets!
Hi Shaun, need some help, I think I may have a chafer problem across my lawn, will they be on top of the lawn or buried in the soil? What are my options to solve this? Any help would be great.
Hi..in the soil around the roots...turfsolv is one option or you can use a local lawn care company as we now have access to a product that will kill them
@@LawnRight thanks for the reply, how do I apply this turfsolv, if I can’t solve the problem could I get through the summer time and kill off the lawn and do a full Reno I September, would that kill off the chafer?
@@19davidwinter88 you can use a backpack sprayer, handheld sprayer or watering can to apply.. the amounts shown are on the label when you order - think its 2ml per sq metre off the top of my head... yeah ifs you killed the lawn later in the year with roundup there's technically nothing left for them to munch on. so they would eventually die off but not sure how long that would take
@@LawnRight after quite a bit worrying yesterday I checked out what was on the lawn and I think it maybe white slugs, I’ve checked the lawn out today and I cannot see them, there was quite a few of them dotted about the lawn, I’m guessing that’s still a problem? I had to dig my lawn up this summer going to leave till next spring the soil is chalky this is a old council house I brought the size is 24 ft x 24 ft never been dug in it,s life what should I put on the top after I rotavated be re seeding again and if it is compost how many bags would i need thank you.
Hi Micky it's still ok as they're still up near the roots but temps are dropping so it's kind of on the line at the minute whether you do or wait and see. I personally would just for peace of mind and to help nourish the lawn
Hi they're different. Chafers are creamy coloured and curl like a letter c and from the chafer beetle. Leatherjackets are usually brown or grey and straight, and from the crane fly/daddy long legs

Nice video Shaun. Quick question? Is is safe to use turfsolv on a newly seeded lawn?
Hi yes it is. Same goes for emerald green. With both being organic they help with seed establishment
Where would i get turf solve
