  • Alma Garret plays dumb and coy with EB, and then just plain nails him where he lives. It's subtle, but great watching the moment she turns the tables on EB.

    Beating up on Farnum just means Richardson is going to have to take a lot of shit later.

      I always wonder if the actor did that inadvertently and they just kept it because it was so perfect.

    @ walterbrob - I totally agree! And I was an extra on True Blood, Season 2. HBO raised the bar so high with Deadwood that I don't think HBO can even reach the level of the greatness of Deadwood. Where else will you get the Kings English mixed with Ivy league porfanity. It is hands down one of the best television/cable shows EVER.

      @Gus VanHorn Dude, with that pretty face, those eyes, that smile and her voice, you'd be buried so deep in her, that the 1st person able to pull you out, were to be crowned King Arthur-on the spot! 'yo'

    The only show Ive ever seen that can compete with this is The Wire, and I'd say The Wire is better than Deadwood only because of the fact that Deadwood was canceled one season short and The Wire actually had resolution.

    • @EnglishTeacher1998
      @EnglishTeacher1998 3 года назад +1

      Did you want Deadwood to tell you something pretty? It wasn't meant to be a last line, but it turned out to be perfect.

    Alright Deadwood fans. Be honest now. Do I need to watch Season 3 of this show? Saw Season 1 and loved it. Liked Season 2 as well. But I've heard that Season 3 isn't quite as good. Thoughts?

      Aye, you should, there's also a Deadwood movie released in 2018 iirc, which brings some closure to the story.

    First I'm from Chicago, Second I'm pretty much 100% Italian, My fathers parents came from Bari and my Mothers from Capri and Sicily. The Wire got old after the second season? The second season was by far the worst of that entire series and if anything it picked up after that. I love the Sopranos I'm actually watching it for my second time through right now, just finished the third season. It is not as good as The Wire though. The Wire ends a million times better than they ended the sopranos.

    • @tylerchambers6246

      As far as the Wire being better than Sopranos, that's just like, your opinion man.

    • @csmakio
      @csmakio 2 года назад +1

      @@tylerchambers6246 dude, so glad you commented.
      i've watched the sopranos probably a half-dozen more times since this was posted, conveniently enough towards the end of s1 right now. sopranos is better than the wire. without question. i love this damn show.
      the ending grew on me, i started to pickup more in the final season...the amount of foreshadowing is nuts. comments released from the directors have also painted a better picture of how things finished up. beautifully. it was as close to perfect as an ending could get for a series of that stature.
      i have not watched the wire in some time but god dman man. sopranos is right on top.
