- With no battle report this week, we were due to be doing another Warlord Games Black Powder battle, I thought it would be a good idea to have a bit of a work desk/project update.
Bolt Action Afrika Korps, Fallschrimjager, Brandenburgers, panther, Tiger I, Panzer IV, Panzer III, the Fellowship of the Rings (Middle Earth Strategy Battle Game) and more!
Let me know if you want to see more stuff both the group and I are working on.

Thanks, I try to theme the bases for each of the armies depending on the theatre of war… but also try to keep them similar so I can inter-swap them!

Good you’ve finished your DAK, nice doing FJ as they are pretty cool too… I need to do mine at some point, though I want to split them into early and late war armies. How have you built yours?

Theres a few other bits in the pipeline too, just building a large DDay US airborne army so we can do a weekend event next year to celebrate 80 years from the D day landings…
…hoping to have a couple of small battle reports (pathfinders land, para landing), culminating in a mega beach landing and town assault on a 6 x 8ft or 4x12ft table. We are just discussing and working out what we need.

I'm looking at starting a Japanese army in the new year for Bolt Action and also just started a Test of Honour Samurai force which is very good fun!
@@TheGreyWolf94 fantastic! Funny enough none of us have the Far East built and painted... I have USMC and Japanese, but both still in their boxes! Maybe one day, just Too many project 😂
I also want to do some early War Germans and some French for some early War battles.
Been building some ancients also over the last year, and WotR for some Hail Caesar battles next year.

Yes AWI armies are growing, just working on the continentals to fight the British, also have British, Hessian, Native Americans and some dastardly French to support the rebels completed 👍🏻🤣
What are the cool curvy bases for the LMGs etc?
Hi, I cut Warlord 40mm bases in half, then super glue that half onto a pill base so can accommodate both troops in the team.
They look great and are super easy to make.

@@samsolopeeps I loved painting my 8th army, and the sas To go with them, very cool army. Lost my mojo a little on the DAK so making slow progress, but hoping they will look awesome when both armies are complete!

Also I am using winter bodies for my pioneers as I guess they will be working in the cold of night.
@samsolopeeps great idea, Olaf has a few in his army, I have a couple in mine, they fit in perfectly. A whole unit will look really cool - great idea 👍🏻
what rules are you using for Indiana Jones?
