I love the X6900 and the 6900. I have about 50 total. There are so many cool X6900 colourways and collaborations. I believe only the early ones had metal buttons. After that they were plastic. The Futura and Maharishi X6900s are particularly nice IMO. I bought a used grey heathered X6900 signed by Kikuo Ibe. I wouldn't worry too much about whether others think they are too large. That yellow one you have is pretty expensive at the moment. I use small o rings to keep the metal keepers in place. I prefer the plastic keepers.
The Maharishi one is very nice. I used to really want the Eminem one back in the day too. Some of them had a red tinted backlight which was very cool as well.
