Tip - because the spout is so small you normally need to shake a few times causing splashes and even missing the water cup - however, if you have one of those small transparent protective tubes that come with a watercolour brush, inset that as you pour and the water will flow out very quickly and evenly. 😉
Cool! I'm thinking of getting one. Is the Schmincke version the same design as the Whisky Painters one, but with the added Schmincke logo or is it their own design? They look identical.
Seriously you need to change the design so the lid does not flop down, its very annoying when painting outside and the lid flops and your paint flies off the lid !
@stone_forest3802 it only opens to the same angle as any other enamelled palette, and it's not like it's unexpected - I mean, how could it suddenly flop down if you already have mixed paint in it ? 🙄.. It's a great little palette, I've painted with it for over a decade now.

I have a recommendation….I took the finger ring off and replaced it with a pop-socket. Far more comfortable. 😉

Yes, exact same. Whiskey painters produces the palette for many brands. The WP brand has also a Matt black version that is really nice.
