I have the metal palette and I love it, but I want an extra space for mixing colors…what a great tip at the end of the video! I’ll just get a basic porcelain dish from a discount store…no need to buy an overpriced one marked specifically for watercolor. Thank you!
Thanks for confirming some ideas I’ve been thinking about for my palette. Especially the individual pans with magnets & small porcelain dishes from a thrift store. I would rather spend money on quality paints & brushes than on accessories, lol.
I like to use small compact nearly undestructable metal tins, but I don´t like the beading and stain that can make every next mixture muddy and dirty. thats why I like to use a tiny white porcelain plate or white flat ceramic bowl for mixing if I need. so I can better see what I´m doing and pick up the color that I want from my mixture.
Someone new to watercolor should get no more than 12 colors to start with then move to no more than 6 of those colors to learn mixing. Do this for a few months/use up what u have and then you will know what u want and what u need. You might find y a u only need 6 or maybe you need more than 12 to do what u need.
Thank you. You have a kind voice and your recommendations are down to earth.

thank you for your compliment! you made my day 😊🙃😀 take care
Honestly you don't need more than five colours to paint. In my personal preference a palette with 13 wells is ideal. Good video man! Good vibes

What is the wire brush holder you are using in the video? It shows up at 13 secs. It's really cool.
believe it or not, it is a soap dish, 4 dollars from local store 😅😅😅😅
Hi! What's the name for the metallic palette, and where to buy it :)
Thank you
