Hey Tom. Great commentary on the new movie. I kept waiting to disagree on something but i think you and I had pretty much the same takeaway. You make a good point about one guy controlling everything on the island, i overlooked that. I've actually never seen the original. It was a great story. Jake Gyllenhaal was good. The action looked really good. The final fight was pretty great. Its a quality action movie and those are getting more uncommon every year that passes.
good take. I'm more of an audio book while at work kind of guy. lots of great (and hoooorrible) scifi sagas, new and old. Wish some of those got made into movies, but I'm having a very hard time trusting film and show producers. they all seem hellbent on destroying my favorite IPs
