- Twice a year, we make large curriculum and homeschool purchases. While few of the items were actual necessities, they are all educational and inspirational. We do a lot of hands on learning in our homeschool so half of what we order are materials for projects and activities and the other half are books!
This haul includes materials from Amazon, A Child's Dream, Rainbow Resource and Gardeners. You can find links to this vendors and some of the materials we bought on my website on the blog post that accompanies this video:

The materials we bought support our history and science units for the year. You can find out what we're doing in those units by checking out the playlist for those units:
Middle Ages Unit:
• How to Draw a Medieval...
Spring Nature Units:
Butterfly unit:
• HOMESCHOOL UNIT STUDY ...
Bees:
• Nature Unit Study Bees
This is not a sponsored video. All these materials were purchased by our family using educational funding provided by our charter school.

My husband overheard your voice while I was watching and said “every time you listen to that lady, the amazon orders start rolling in” 😂😂😂
SnipsandSnails 😂😂😂 ah what can I say 😅😅😅
Pepper and Pine At least I’m consistent right? 🤷🏼♀️😂
😂🤣😂🤣
SnipsandSnails it’s true😂me too
Lol! So true! 🙈😅
I am glad I found your page when I first started searching curriculum. Your detail is amazing, but I think what is so intriguing about your videos is how well spoken you are! I am not going to lie, sometimes I feel like I need to step my game up significantly after watching your curriculum hauls and how you methodically pick each item to tie into your units. You're pretty intelligent.
I love that I can always count on you finding gorgeous picture books with the perfect balance of information. Thanks!
Favorite part of the day. Peace, coffee, and Hana's inspiration😀
You’re homeschooling style is so beautiful.
Gah!! You got me with the mouse books! Darn it! I always have Amazon tab open while watching your videos because I know.......
Ooooo... so excited to see all the goodies you found!! You have the best luck with stuff like this! 😍
Love seeing your hauls Hana ! And the cheese kits are interesting and so cool. You always find fun and different things 😍
Those nature books are breathtaking what an amazing haul!
For anyone looking for an alternative to the frog lifecycle set, look at the Frog set from FiddlesticksKids on Etsy. Gorgeous watercolor poster, flash cards, and games and journal pages that are printable.
Oooohhh!! We use the figures in motion too! We love them! We add them to our timeline. I always recommend them. Our favorite History hands on craft. I have appreciated the book list too.
I love seeing what's in your hauls, Hana.
May I recommend a swift/ball winding with your skeins before knitting so you don't need to deal with a big pile of spaghetti through your project.
I love the haul! Lots of wonderful things!
Loved everything the paper people are a very nice contrasts. All your beginning books were amazing but I just love your channel. I'm new!!!!
The cheese making kit is such a fun idea.
Evernoted to my History notebook! :D and adding to my amazon cart!!
Would you make a video with your favorite Ancient History resources? We're going through Story of the World again and I'm curious what you've loved.
What an awesome haul~ I love that planting ruler tool! We are studying the middle ages this year as well and we just watched a documentary last week about Joan of Arc that mentioned Mark Twain was very taken with her. Have you ever tries using Squilt for music at all?
we use Real Science odyssey from rainbow resource. It is 100% secular. We enjoy it because it gives some information but the real learning comes through the experiments. it is very hands on.
Awwsome haul again!!! What kind of camera do you film with and how do you keep it at that view?
I love your hauls! Im just curious do you return your non consumables to your charter every year? I go through charter as well and wondering if its to overwhelming to hang on to things through out the years.
I saw her answer this question somewhere else. She has to give non-consumables to their Charter school when they are completely finished with their homeschool journey.
I was wondering Hana if you ever use board games or card games in your homeschool. I have found it to be a wonderful way to enhance a unit theme and even reinforce concepts like logic, probability etc. there are so many wonderful games out there and a lot of them would work well with your medieval unit.
When you were talking about the mozzarella kit, I was thinking "Maybe we can do that this year!" Because my oldest son is deathly allergic to milk, but he is doing his own thing with schooling this year. And then you said the part about your son's allergy! I had no idea! Isn't it such a crazy thing to deal with as a parent? My son is turning 15 next month, so I don't think he will ever outgrow it. Isn't your son even older? Most severe milk allergies are outgrown in early childhood!
How do you afford all this?
I love the idea of the cheese kit. Were you able to order that through your charter? I might have to order that one for myself. :-)
Hana do you think we can get some coupon codes from your vendors 😁
Take a look at carcassonne board game from the z-man company. It works perfectly for children and adults and for a medieval theme.
How old are your children when you teach them to knit? I don’t know how to yet, so I’m wondering how long I have before my kids are of an age to learn. 😄
I try to start around 7 years old, but you may find that boys do better a little bit later.
How do you get homeschool funding?
I think it's a California thing? Not sure if it's statewide or not! (Wish we had one here in Maryland though!)
That is NOT the right depth for the seeds....I don’t think any seeds go 3 or 4 inches down. Most are 1/8th -1 inch down 👍🏻
