When I go to the local Lowes... Disappointing every time. Are Lowes going out of business?? There's 5-8 people shopping in the store and 10 employees, that hardly work? Tough Built products ARE The Best! I've got about 7-8 hundred in their products. Nothing else comes close! So easy to work out of, and to load in and out of my van! Thanks Tough Built!
Lowe's is absolutely doing Toughbuilt a disservice. No advertising, no special section like Klein. Toughbuilt is the red headed step child and Klein gets all the attention.
Every Lowe’s near me still stocks it and raised the pricing a little since December. I bought the 3 draws unit for $150 in December and now it’s like $168
Ain't no discount when I'm buying them I just bought the hand truck yesterday and I absolutely love this thing I also have the truck mount cargo carrier and thus thing is freaking awesome
Lowe's screwed them from launch, tiny displays and very little stock. Problem is Lowe's has too many brands all competing for real-estate; Toughbuilt, Flex, Klein, Craftsman, and Kobalt. IMO I think Toughbuilt should sell the Stacktech at Menard's. The only boxes they have are Mastercraft, which aren't a direct competitor to Stacktech, more in line with the Craftsman versastack. Plus ppl would be more willing to buy them when they get 11% rebate. Menard's already sells the cliptech belts/pouches, seems like a logical decision to sell Stacktech too.
Agree with this 100%. But why isn't Toughbuilt finding other routes to market than Lowe's? If StackTech is prosumer vs. consumer, why stick to just Lowes? Why not do what Milwaukee has done and go to the online retailers like Acme, FAO, or even Amazon?
@heaththompson6034 I agree the exclusive just isn't a good thing and they do have a store on Amazon but they don't sell much and they definitely don't sell any stack Tech
@playerzero0000 I think so but I really wish it wasn't like that as you could see it's not really paying off but I'm still excited for the newer product coming out the next couple of months

I work in Tool World at Lowe's and was.permitted to create that display. *Side Note: my location I Matamoras, PA has yet to Clearance any StackTech. We sell plenty of it.
I can't find the cart dolly, online at Lowes. Disappointing. This is the Best toolbox set up I have ever used! I can roll with 3-4 hundred pounds of tools anywhere easily! Love them!
We had to drive to Maryland. We also had to drive to the Carolinas to get stuff believe it or not but we wanted to review the stuff. But I recommend is just going online and changing your ZIP Code on the Lowe’s website until you find something and then when you do ordered it for pick up and be ready to drive. Also just keep walking into different Lowes. You’d be surprised Inventory isn’t correct.. good luck
I am a Toughbuilt StackTeck fan since it came out. 1st let me say that I do appreciate you telling me to look deeper at every Lowe's for items that they don't pull down. I also contacted Toughbuilt and they told me where they had shipped certain items nd I was able to find the 4 wheel dolly and the 2n1 hand truck. I have now got a CONFIRMED YES that Lowe's is trying to kill off the Toughbuilt line. Three different employees in 2 different states confirmed that Lowe's is showing all toughbuilt items as a non-restock. One employee took his little phone inventory device that looks like a phone and showed me that it says non refurbish, non restock or something to that effect. The employee said that they were pushing Klein MODBOX. He said they were told that MODBOX would be their top end and that craftsman and Kobalt would be the other brand. I tried to buy some of the hammers that they had already pulled and he said that they could not be found. DIVORCE, Yes thats what Lowe's wants. Seems Klein bought a bigger ring.
Lowes did the same to FLEX. Shame, I really liked FLEX products. Those tools still work very well for my jobs. Wish they stay around and bring more tools.
Please pass along the stores that are discounting Toughbuilt I have several Toughbuilt items but would love to add more at a discount I believe the quality will last my lifetime
Make sure to look at the top shelves in all departments. Often times, stores will put items they want to "hide" on the top shelves of completely unrelated areas of the store.
My own point of view....But, Stacktech was suppose to release this spring in Canada and they still haven't. Lowes from coast to coast in Canada isn't easily findable unless you're in a major city. So market share could be there issue and could be trying to move to a better retailer. Currently in Canada if you want to purchase anything Toughbuilt one has to go to Princess Auto. So, there probably is a bunch of legal easy and contracts that need to be shorted out. Would be my guess as to what's happening.
It looks like there might be some delays in some products but as far as Canada I really don’t know I sure hope you guys get the product. If not, you’ll have to drive over to the states.
It also doesn't seem the case in California as far as clearance goes. In San Fran area, at least from my experience, they have been terrible with clearance prices. Doesn't matter if it's Lowe's or Home Depot. It's like they can't afford to sell them cheap, so they will only discount in small amount. The other issue is that they are putting a lot of pressure on the signage staff. Barely anyone in the store doing any price updates.
in MN not a single piece was on sale. some stores were low stock, some were higher stock. some stores had some accys some had the others. i hit every store in the twin cities area.
Go on the Lowe’s website and keep changing your location. You might get surprised to see a location with some clothes out but it takes a lot of patience.
In Canada we were supposed to get them at Home Depot. Still nowhere to be seen. There is only Alpha Tools who have some of them. At least they are not very expensive.
@jonathansaindon788 as of now Lowe’s is the only provider but they’re working on agreements with other companies so they can have more online presents as well as brick and water stores. Also, the rumor is Lowes is getting more stock, but it doesn’t look like it unless it’s hidden on the top of the shelves down another aisle somewhere.
Send that shit to Albuquerque, the shelves are bare, I bought the last drawer unit in 2 counties. Big R had a load of pouches, pretty much gone now, I need another electicians pouch and a specialist drill holster.
I don’t have that happening here, but I have some Lowe’s stores here clearancing out their flex stack pack, but other Lowe’s aren’t selling them out. Definitely something weird going on with Lowe’s and their modular tool boxes.
I heard Toughbuilt is changing the bottoms so you can stack a Stacktech box on top of two Compact Low-Profile organizers. They might be trying to clear inventory to make room for this upgrade.
SteckTech commented on a RUclips video I watched that they were making an adapter plate. I wish I could remember what video it was to share the link. They are not changing the bottoms.
Lowe's is bipolar. Some areas they are clearancing Flex boxes, some people are picking up the Flex drawers for $37 +tax. Not around me, though. Toughbuilt looks good. The next round with the Advanced Transporter looks good. The tower light looks like trash, but if it folds up small and has good output I'll revisit that opinion.
They are a quality product except for their engineering failure on not being able to connect all their boxes together. If you have 2 have boxes a full size box won’t connect. They did say they were going to fix that. They just don’t sell a lot. Most contractors want Milwaukee or DeWalt because that’s what all their power tools are. Klein boxes aren’t selling either for the same reason.
So, I see this comment a lot and don't quite understand why that is a "deal breaker" for people. What is wrong with just stacking the halves on top? What am I missing here?
@@GoldMineArcade Ok but that still doesn't answer my question. Why do full boxes HAVE to be stacked on halves? I'm honestly not trying to be a jerk, but would love a real world answer of an example where this would be an issue?
