Reliable: quick update- We have obviously seen some of the chatter on "stacking order" and while we still believe that our autolocking mechanism and drop down stacking make this the fastest system around in any order... we stand up for our professionals' needs and are ALWAYS listening to what you want from us. We have a receiver plate in production that adjusts half-boxes so they can accept full size stacking on top. Coming in just a couple of months!
Is this receiver plate going to be expensive? Also, I'm about 3 seconds from purchasing, how will the design update to the second versions impact cross compatibility. Im really happy to see you guys in this game, love my cliptech and disliked all the other boxes for one reason or another.
Hope the adapters are reasonable!!! I also hope you guys have a few different mounting plates coming out and also a tray on drawer over extension slides for wall stacking the boxes
I started using the Stacktech right when it came out to replace my Milwaukee stuff. Honestly the Milwaukee stuff is junk compared to it. Flex is way better than Milwaukee too.
Just a friendly observation on the wiggling. You had the toughbuilt half boxes stacked on the crate when you demonstrated thebshaking and you had your Milwaukee stuff on a regular box. Just wondering if there would be less shaking of the Toughbuilt half boxes if they were mounted on a box instead of the crate?
I really wanted to try and like these boxes. I actually spent a couple of hours this weekend comparing Milwaukee Packout to these toughbuilt stackable boxes. After watching several videos this weekend, I decided as a toughbuilt tool pouch/belt user to support the product line. Here's where Toughbuilt's weakness comes into play. I live in So Cal and I have a Lowe's right across the street from our Home Depot. I drove down to Lowe's earlier today and asked for the boxes that I found online, and their website showed they had them in stock. The associate said they were in the back and he wasn't allowed to bring them out until the merchandising team brought them out. I explained that I was ready to purchase them and had all the part numbers I needed (5 boxes in total). He asked a manager and came back and said, "I told you, I can't bring them out until the MST team brings them out." I asked if I could speak with someone to explain my situation. The "manager" came out and told me that "they were in the back and still on a pallet and that it was going to take too long to find them and bring them out." I explained that I'm kind of in a pinch and need to purchase something tonight. Either I purchase these toughbuilt boxes or I go across the street and buy the packout equivalent from Home Depot. She said, "go ahead that's fine." Again, I explained, that this was most likely not a "one time" purchase, but would translate to multiple purchases of toughbuilt products going forward. She didn't seem to care at all. She said, she would call if they found the boxes by the end of the day. This is going to be toughbuilt's biggest hurdle. Lowe's customer service is horrible. Not that Home Depot has the best customer service, but I usually don't go to Lowe's because their customer service is so bad. That said, I refuse to subject myself to this type of service anytime I have an issue or want to buy a toughbuilt product. Milwaukee's products are sold by HomeDepot as well as several wholesale houses. Toughbuilt is being distributed through Lowe's exclusively in our area. At the time of this writing (10/22/23) Toughbuilt boxes are not found on Amazon. For this reason I've made the decision to go with Milwaukee, not due to it's superiority, but for the sole reason that they are everywhere. This "stacking" issue just confirms that I made the right decision. I hope Toughbuilt can figure this out but they need to fix the distribution aspect otherwise good luck selling these. #Lowes #Loweschinohills #lowes2783 #toughbuilt
I use a combo of packout and Ridgid systems to carry my camping gear and camp kitchen in my trailer. Got my first hands on of the Stacktech system today. The first word that came to mind is ”elegant”. They made me think if James Bond in a tuxedo had a tool box, this would be it. Not cheap for a tool system, but still a lot less than the rugged gear boxes like Roam and Pelican for Overlanding.
Ive just ordered the packout,i wanted toughbuilt because i have the knives , couple of pairs of gel knee pads, snips , toolbelt x 7 different pouches, work bench, but purely went for packout as ive been waiting for uk release and prices and it just seems to be taking forever
@toughbuilt Wish they would of done a few things better. Should definitely be able to stack the full width boxes on top of the half ones. Also the latches can't be opened when they are stacked, would of been nice for a small notch in the bottom front so there would be enough room to open the latch. I do question the durability of the two tabs that lock these together at the front because when you tilt the boxes back fully loaded with tools that is a huge stress area so will this be a weak point? These will be out in the elements so will the metal corners be a rust problem over time since it's not aluminum and only coated steel? Wish they had a way to easily lock all these like with a bar or cable lock, appears that you need separate locks for each box. I think they should of included mounting rails with this and instead let corporate greed get in the way trying to sell a bunch of accessories. Can you trust a company that doesn't allow comments on their own youtube channel? Dewalt, Flex, Makita, Milwaukee, and others all allow comments and take the feedback to improve their products. I like a lot of Toughbuilt's stuff and own a lot of their tools, I like there quality and innovations so hopefully they will listen. Sorry this was long, just my thoughts on this.
Definitely could have started off better than this and I'll test out a few things mentioned in the comments. I got them loaded on the van for work this week
I couldn’t believe it didn’t stack when i first noticed it im still trying to decide if i want to go with Packout or ToughBuilt but for now im going to stick with TB until spring when some more TB stuff comes out
Hopefully the complete lineup is worth the wait. For me it's not horrible the way I stack them in the van I don't have too many issues but some guys really rely on being able to stack them high and in any order they want
It's been working pretty well, I need to finish a few things so I'm not moving things around during bigger calls. And now I need to decide on what toolboxes to go with 😅
Thank goodness, finally someone else addressing this... i haven't seen anyone really talking about this issue!! Would be a simple redesign of the half width box lids
I had high hopes for the toughbuilt stuff. I think I will probably be going with Milwaukee since they have more options and are even more modular. Maybe toughbuilt will address some of these issues with a gen 2 series and so on. Thanks for doing the video Adrian. I can always depend on you to do an unbiased review. The Klein electrician wrench is still my favorite tool. Co worker liked mine so much that I bought him one just so he wouldn’t pocket mine. 😂😂😂
Shit these boxes are built way better than milwaukee example the half boxes 4lbs difference thats insane i had milwaukee at the same time and returned them from the tops to the sides wasnt impressed with red after seeing the black. plus the stuff they have that will be released is way awesome.
At this point neither am I I'll have to show the logic behind the new layout, it makes sense for me and I've been enjoying it. Just have to finish a few things but this Stacktech kinda got me distracted a bit 😅
Fantastic review. I doo have issues with the 1/2 stacker organizers...why is the handle so big? Why is the latch so weak. Love to see one stack tip over and see how the 1/2 organize fares.
I bet after a few complaints and videos they will come out with a plate (for $49.99) that will snap into the half boxes to allow the full boxes to lock onto the plate. I bet a million bucks homie. OR one of the 3D third party guys will jump on that and all will be well again.
@ReliableHVACR i have been watching all the videos on this, and you're the 1st to show what's not right with it. Thanks I wasn't going to get any of them. Just like the new klein tool boxes, and they are nice but not a milwaukee lol. Have a good day, my friend

I think that's great, good to hear the company is aware and looking to improve. Can't wait to see that and the rest of the lineup 👍🏽

@@Thegoodneighbor_ there was something mentioned of 10 bucks, another video had mentioned they had received an email from them.
Hope the adapters are reasonable!!! I also hope you guys have a few different mounting plates coming out and also a tray on drawer over extension slides for wall stacking the boxes
Thank God you guys hear us!

Your problem is Californians are idiots.😅
So what I think I missed it. But if you had two small parts bin. You could possibly connect a bigger box on top of those?

Just put the half boxes in top. There fixed. Lol.
Are you going to replace the packouts? Altogether? Great video.
Thought about it but it's hard when this is all they got so far. Packout has been solid for me so far
Ive just ordered the packout,i wanted toughbuilt because i have the knives , couple of pairs of gel knee pads, snips , toolbelt x 7 different pouches, work bench, but purely went for packout as ive been waiting for uk release and prices and it just seems to be taking forever
Is there a big price difference for everything you have in toughbuilt vs the same thing in milwaukee?
@toughbuilt Wish they would of done a few things better. Should definitely be able to stack the full width boxes on top of the half ones. Im curious how you like the new van. Have you done anything with it. It was a unique up fit. Thanks for the videos and content
It's been working pretty well, I need to finish a few things so I'm not moving things around during bigger calls. And now I need to decide on what toolboxes to go with 😅
@ReliableHVACR that's good to hear. Glad its working out
Thank goodness, finally someone else addressing this... i haven't seen anyone really talking about this issue!! Would be a simple redesign of the half width box lids
They really thought we wouldn't notice huh 😅 can't believe it's really like this
i feel like if you have the half sizeds stuff they should go on top anyway so it doesnt really seem like an issue to me
To you. I always liked having a crate at the top
I couldn't stand knowing and having to worry about those things pointed out.
I had high hopes for the toughbuilt stuff. I think I will probably be going with Milwaukee since they have more options and are even more modular. Me too Bryan. It's been tough to switch 😅
Awesome, can't afford to be without it 😬

Interesting comparison i hope this might be a quick fix to a extent lol
Sure hope so
Still not impressed with toughbuilt, your new van doesn’t look very comfortable to work out of as the old one. Am I wrong?
At this point neither am I
I'll have to show the logic behind the new layout, it makes sense for me and I've been enjoying it. Just have to finish a few things but this Stacktech kinda got me distracted a bit 😅

Toughbuilt stock is .19 cents a share 😮. Had to buy some after I got this system. It’s the best I’ve used.
Good job
Hey Arain keep up the good work on making these types of videos man I am new to your channel and a new viewer. My name is Tyler so. Welcome me in
Hey Tyler, welcome and thanks for stopping in 🙌🏽

We definitely need third party guys to step up, looks to be a big gap to wait for mounts and accessories from toughbuilt themselves
I'm gonna work with a buddy to make Milwaukee tool inserts for tough built
@@mrniusi11 that would be dope
Quality is not cheap and cheap is not quality
No one can compete with Milwaukee packouts.😊
I had high hopes but you're probably right
@ReliableHVACR i have been watching all the videos on this, and you're the 1st to show what's not right with it. Thanks
I wasn't going to get any of them. Just like the new klein tool boxes, and they are nice but not a milwaukee lol. Have a good day, my friend
Agreed
MAYBE TURN THLOCK SIDE AWAY FROM WALL. NICK PICKING MILWAUKEE FAN BOY
Packout is still number One;)
It's a ''Tough '' decision ... Thx
Very 🤣
