- Hey guys! Going from the best to the worst, here are the worst results of each country ever. Do you think these entries are actually the worst or that they don't deserve the infamous title? Comment below!

Hey guys! Here are the worst results from each country that ever participated at Eurovison. Bare in mind that it is hard to calculate the actual "worst" entry since there are different amounts of participants each year and that there 0 points and semis. I counted non-qualifications as the worst result and also 0 points. Anyway, I hope you enjoy the video and if you have any questions feel free to ask me:) Also, get ready for the NF season. I'll be posting my top Eurovision 2018 since the first entry and will be sharing with you my favorites from the national selections. Stay tuned!
Random Thoughts:
-Some of these entry's are actually good but the bad outweighs them for me personally
-My God... Czech Republic... I don't remember being it so bad😂
Eurovision Now! Some of them are masterpieces: Bosnia, Andorra, Moldova, S&M, Montenegro. Some are really bad: Ireland, Israel and Spain. Worst ever
Aziza Alkan Spain's Quien maneja mi barca by Remedios Amaya is actually a masterpiece
Alex Mostovoi but she sounds drunk and out of tune.
Aziza Alkan Ireland 2008 my 2nd place xp
Poor Czech republic
Interesting that Iceland’s best and worst result are by the same person. Also the artist behind Italy’s worst ever result, Domenico Mudogno, is also behind one of the most famous Eurovision songs, Volare.
Yes... well I guess you have to get the good and the bad😂
From where did you get that from? No They are not, ''Is it true'' was composed and given lyrics by Óskar Páll Sveinsson,
Tinatin Japaridze, Chris Neil. While ''If i had your love was composed by Þorvaldur Bjarni Þorvaldsson, Vignir Snær. And given lyrics by Selma Björnsdóttir, Linda Thompson.
I know it's super long ago but she technically has neither. Iceland got 0 points in 89 which is ostensably worse that 52 points, and in 2018 (i know is after this video was made) got a lower position in the semifinal. Also we got 2nd twice and the one in 2009 had way more points. (you could still argue that selma had the best since she was closer to winning but she at least can't be counted as the worst)
That isn't true, Yohanna was second, or is it?
(I know they have been second twice, just wanted to play jokes on you)
Hatrið mun sigra!
YOU GOTTA PUSH DE BUTTON
PUSH DA LIKE BUTTON... ahhhhh... sorry lol
I from Israel, they are actually a successful band here, but the just didn't fit to the eurovision...
Push de batton
@@mirikishon245 one of the reasons they were disliked was because of the political statement in their song, which is not allowed in eurovision. Push the Button means pushing the button on missile launchers.
Regardless, it was a badass song and the rap verse there was amazing.
Israel's worest song ever was ping-pong
Zero point for Ann Sophie was a crime... Wonderful song...
Exactly my thoughts
Why are u not voting
It was apparently rigged
I think it's the best ESC song from Germany
@
Nicolas Hervé du Penhoat my only problem with Ann Sophie was that she did not win the german selection, Andreas Kummert with "heart of stone" did, but he said no to represent Germeny in Eurovision. he thought he was to simple of a man. and that Ann Sophie was a better option.
some of the songs are really good smh
I know right? Norway, Iceland etc. ALL AMAZING BOPS😂 😂
Want with Germany...
Belgium... ;) Tea pozdrav iz poljske!!;)
Denmark! It's stuck in my mind, and I only know two lines xD haha
I never head the song from The Netherlands before, but it sounds so good.
As a Dane, I'm not upset about Soldiers of Love not making it to the final. I'm upset about Should've Known Better, our best Eurovision song ever, finishing 23rd in 2012. What the heck was up with that?
I loved Ann Sophie's Black Smoke.
Fire Kitsune me too it baffles me the only reason I can think of it not doing so well is what happened at selection
Same
Same... It's not great, far from it, but 0 points? Wtf?
Fire Kitsune It was such a great song😔
Same and I think she has a great voice

Valentina has both the best and worst result for San Marino. 😊
She's just the queen of San Marino.😂
same for that lady from Morocco
Not anymore
Say na na na
Ann Sophie :(. I don't know why people did not vote for her.
Yeah... she had a great song but the performance was *I guess* a bit too x-rated for some... a shame though:/
Me neither... still listening to her song, just love it
NiZhenBang They might have done, she just didn't get better than 11th in any voting! The result doesn't have to be all that bad as it looks.
the song sucks 😁 if you think it's good, you must be the 1% 😂
NiZhenBang Its a shame Finland got more points than her
Some songs seem sent thinking "How we can fail harder?"
kgw72 same i thought
France's mustache is sooo funny 😂
Hahahah... yes its actually a good song!
I was so surprised when it didn’t revive at least a two-digit score, because I actually thought it was a fun song! Gets stuck on ones mind really easy too.
It's catchy
I will die mad about that they only got two points
I loved Soldiers of love and moustache😂 And Black smoke was great too!
I feel So Bad whenever someone doesn't get any points in finals...
How did.that Germany song got 0 pointes? She sings.rather well IMO
Daniel Haras yeah this year again Germany has gotten 0 points too
Also how was it 27th
Sorry to every other country that can’t match our standards. You may have whatever crazy singers you want, but in Ireland, we have turkeys. You already lost.
Eoin Daly Dustin the Turkey 2020 plz
Ireland's entry just shines in comparison to everyone else on this list, it's like they were trying to sum up Eurovision itself in one song, and I love it! x'D
HAHAHAHA... I personally love a bit of sassy humor.
When Ireland win so many times they purposely enter bad songs as they have ran out of money
They tried that in 1994, but ended up winning seemingly by accident.
Daoibhéar oOoOfff
IRLANDE DOUZE POINTS!!!!!!111!!!
I actually like some of those songs like France's Moustache or Germany's Black Smoke
lol at 9th and 7th place being the lowest results
Australia is extremely new to Eurovision, so it's different with just handful of appearances over people who have Over 40-50 appearances. Plus people usually get votes more than they deserve during their first couple years. The Australian guy cracked his voice completely in the semi-final and still proceeded, when there was way more talented people, who didn't have fails yet got smaller judge points for some stupid reason.
JermuHH his voice may have cracked but it was still amazing. He deserved to go through.
It was technically bad singing, and the judges are there so it's not just a popularity contest, and judges giving high scores for someone clearly unable to fit correct notes is just complete opposite than the reason why judges were ever used.
JermuHH hmmm maybe. He aced that same note in the final. If we want to talk about technical singing. Then swedens entry last year shouldnt have been anywhere near the final let alone top 10.
It's not about how well they could possibly do, it's about the performance they give in semi-finals.
oh my God, I never imagined Domenico Modugno, one of Italy biggest musical asset, to have failed so miserably... but then again, singing in Italian was surely detrimental to the overall performance
Dabogirl Scinti at first you were forced'to sing in you country's national language
Those times it was very easy to have 0 points actually xD Most countries had under 10 points. Each country gave 1, 3 and 5 points to 3 countries only and he wasn't the only one under 5 points result that night, you can see the votes on youtube
I feel like the main problem of his performance was the piano. His voice was awesome, but the piano was terrible
People have no sense of humor, that's why. A lot of those are simply hilarious troll acts! Anyway, I unironically liked Andorra and Germany. I so preferred Ann Sophie to Lena's winner song, for example!
Same! I think Ann Sophie was the best from Germany in the last years! I really liked the song, it did not deserve the last place
Rock and roll angels sing hard rock hallelujah... that was a troll act too, and it won. I think UK should enter Cradle of Filth.
In terms of humour acts it's a song contest, not comedy contest
I do not understand how Serbia didn't get through with that song, as well as the fact that that's the lowest they got. Ugh
Tbh Serbia's 2017 performance (Tijana Bogićević ' In Too Deep) was one of the best
Ireland 😂🙌 i think they just wanted to f up the competition.
It was not to upset the competition, it was only when many people in countries (mostly in the West) were angry that countries in the East were giving votes to each other in stead for the song, Ireland had the balls to protest on stage, and as you see in a few years the rules of voting had changed.
It’s hard to tell what makes the song the country’s lowest-placing at some points; Norway and Portugal, for instance, have both received 0 points, but the entries that placed lowest in the semis are counted here. Meanwhile, Sweden hasn’t made it out of the semis on one occasion (2010) but the occasion counted here was from when they were in the final.
Yeah... I know... this definitely can't be counted as an official list😂 I put the one of Sweden due to the fact that it had 0 points but now looking back at it I should've put their 2010 entry😂
Also Serbia 2013 & 2017 11th (SF)
I think that back when Sweden got 0 points, they didn't have the semis yet... Am I wrong?
Stella1999 This is true
SuperJNG18 ikr when I saw Portugal -26 points I was like "Really???? Im pretty sure we already had 0 points.."
So many good songs 😞.
I know right.... norway, iceland etc.
Eurovision Now! Iceland? Wtf
Eurovision Now! This video is a little irritating because for example Iceland scored 0 points in 1989 and Finland has been on bottom of the scoreboard too a few times already
Eurovision Now! And Norway is famous for having most 0 points and most last places but there’s the entry of 2007 instead
I agree. Selma was definately not the worst singer Iceland has sent to Eurovision.
Ann Sophie and Jüri Pootsman, I'm still listening to their songs almost everyday >.>"
Ireland though 😂
And Israel xD
PUSH THE BUTTON, PUSH THE BUTTON, *PUSH THE DAMN BUTTON*
didn't they deliberately do that so that they didn't win it again? (bankruptcy was close)
well spain that year was roberto chikilikuatre
brant nuttall pretty much yeah - poor Dustin the turkey got booed 😂
brant nuttall I am not familiar with Eurovision, what does winning have to do with the country being close to bankruptcy?
Sadly, the one at 11:53 killed herself few years ago :(
Really? I had no idea! What a loss... well... let her rest in peace:(
her life wasnt good...i kinda understand why she killed herself...i feel sorry for her :(
RIP Malina
!!!!!!????? Malina is such a beautiful name! Malina means raspberry in Polish.
@@rafadydkiemmacha7543 and in most Slavic languages
@@rafadydkiemmacha7543 In Serbia too
On the surface, "Soldiers of Love" is an ok entry. But I was disappointed when Lighthouse X disbanded a few months later.
You forgot our 11 last places, with 4 of them being nul points.
Sincerly, Norway.
Bulgaria, Cyprus, Estonia, Greece, The Netherlands, Poland, Serbia/Serbia&Montenegro and Ukraine were quite good tho actually...
zok inus the lyrics are actually very good if you can understand em
which ones?
That's hillarious, they were quite literally my least favorite of the ones in this video. Especialy Cyprus
LordPinochetUTTP that‘s quite funny haha, crazy how different music taste can be
That's true
Update:
*2006:*
- Serbia & Montenegro: 24/24 in SF; 38/38 overall (they scored this according to the Eurovision website)
*2018:*
- Azerbaijan 🇦🇿: 11/19 in SF-1, 94 points; 30/43 overall
- Russia 🇷🇺: 15/18 in SF-1, 65 points; 36/43 overall
- N. Macedonia 🇲🇰: 18/18 in SF-1, 24 points; 42/43 overall
- Iceland 🇮🇸: 19/19 in SF-1, 15 points; 43/43 overall
*2019:*
- Romania 🇷🇴: 13/18 in SF-2, 71 points; 32/41 overall
- Armenia 🇦🇲: 16/18 in SF-2, 49 points; 37/41 overall
- Montenegro 🇲🇪: 16/17 in SF-1, 46 points; 38/41 overall
- Ireland 🇮🇪: 18/18 in SF-2, 16 points; 41/41 overall
*2021:*
- United Kingdom 🇬🇧: 26/26, 0 points; 26/39 overall
- Australia 🇦🇺: 14/16 in SF-1, 28 points; 34/39 overall
- Latvia 🇱🇻: 17/17 in SF-2, 14 points; 39/39 overall
Also United Kingdom 26 / 26 in Final with 0 points. In 2003 25 countires were eligible to vote for the UK, whereas in 2021 38 countries had two separate chances to vote for UK (jury and televote), so 2021 is effectively worse than 2003.
I actually thought the Swedish song would be "This is my life" by Anna Bergendahl, since it's the only time (that I can remember) when Sweden wasn't in the final.
Did you notice a few troll acts were in the list? Turns out we don't take kindly to people taking the piss out of our contest.
rayjaygee 😂😂true true.... we protect our contest very much
Which ones?
There were quite a lot of "troll acts" or just bizarre performances who got high places btw
Tf you say? "We are the winners of eurovision" came 6th
And other troll acts didn't make it on this list. like Icelands entry with Sylvia Night - Congratulations
Hey guys... I just noticed some mistakes... the Netherlands was 19th but in the SF... let me know if there is anything else:D
Eurovision Now! Netherlands 2011 robbed deserved final
Eurovision Now! Wouldn't Turkey's worst result be 2011, the year they didn't qualify for the final? Same with Monaco, Belgium, and Sweden, etc.
Denmark was last in 2002 :)
Riedel22, correct, but that wasn't their worst result.
Uhm... How can a 22nd place out of 22 possible, with 7 points, be better, than a 17th place with 34 points? Please explain, cause I do not understand :)
I loved moustache lol
It's a song that got stuck in my 10 year old mind, even tho I didn't have a single clue what they said
Same! XD
Same
As a french I don't even understand why they had 2 points XD
Keykey KathyLyrics Ikr
The Estonian entry of 2016 was one of the most criminally underrated in the history of the contest. Fucking amazing voice.
Wtf Ireland?
They where trying to lose cause they couldn't afford it lol
It was a protest song to the contest
@@joehoe222 the day the curse of Dustin the Turkey began the sad thing is regardless of how good a song we make they will never forgive us for that stunt
They actually wanted to be last, just for the fun of it, and when they got points, their dream failed.
@@beckysam3913 no Becky they sent this out because most people dont care about the Eurovision in Ireland anymore just enough to justify sending contestants but not enough to warrent actually trying to win you'd be surprised yow few care anymore here when I was in secondary school my first year aged 14 I went to my friends come time of Eurovision 2013 and said you guys excited for the Eurovision tonight they all looked at me like I had just said Golf is the best sport in the world it became quickly clear not a lot of people care here
Funny thing with the Portuguese song you put there: that year, the program where the festival song is chosen, it was voted with the public vote (50%) and jury vote (50%). The difference was that 3 out of 5 jury were not of the music industry. The public voted for another singer and in the end she was tied with the Nonstop. In order to untie, the jury had to pick one of them, and it was precisely the 3 that didn't know anything about music that picked Nonstop... It was a wreck hearing all of the audience chanting for the other singer while the winners went to the stage. Never again a similar stunt was made, and the voting system was changed.
Bosnia and Herzegovina 2016?????? I don't believe.... I like it so much... as for me it's the best one from BiH....
Miles Wrong same😅
UMMMMM.......... Have you ever heard of 'Lejla'??????
but i like 2016's song
Time by O.Torvald is actually one of my more played songs on Spotify. Love that track!
Jüri Pootsmann's "Play" was such an amazing song 0.0 I lined it very much and still listen to it
Also "Wild Soul" 😕 And many others, so maany great songs in here
15:33 The UK-song was absolutely the worst one of all of them...
FuriousBoltyx for the time and the music then the song was average but the vocals were horrific
Pertti Kurikan Nimipäivät is not the worst result Finland has had in the ESC. We've had 0 points in 1963, 1982 and a third time, not sure which year though. PKN was different anyways because they were a band with special needs so in a way their short song isn't comparable to other songs which were created by known or now-known Finnish performers/songwriters.
Please do more thorough research next time, I got this info from a quick Wikipedia glance. Also, old points are hard to compare with new points (pre-2000s VS 2000s points) because the amount of countries aka point givers was less and the system kept evolving all the time.
I would personally say that Kojo's Nuku Pommiin (1982 entry) is actually pretty terrible because it's about European ignorance towards the Soviet Union's nuclear policy so "sleeping to a bomb" (which is a Finnish expression for sleeping too late) quite literally would be the better option according to the song... Certainly one of the worst ones. Most entries are actually decent but they've received very few points because of the odd Finnish language >.
I've just discovered all these Eurovision clips (old and new) this week. I read that PKN had the shortest song ever in the contest. Does anyone know who had the longest one? I would love to find out. I'm guessing they can't make 'em TOO long, especially nowadays with so many acts competing.
The longest song was Italy 1957
Austria worst result was not the popo, but the burning piano, with 0 points in tital against Woki mit deim popo's 8 points
Your (Finland's, that is) third nul points was in 1965. Also, he explains how this works in the first comment - failed in the semi gets you counted like a 0 in the finals. (Still wondering about Sweden, though. The failed song from the 2010 semis did finish higher than 13th in the semi, but that should still put it below the one in the video.)
Soldiers of love was among my top 3 favourite songs of 2016😂
Estonia 2016 deserved so much better
idk im from estonia and i didn't really like his song
yomismo74 omg I totally agree it was one of the best songs I have ever heard
Yeah. The thing is that he was just really nervous. But he has a great voice and the song was good
idk i'm from estonia but thank you
Jarko Školin ikr
Estonia 2016 and Germany 2015 - what a robbery
I actually think Sense Tu is a good song but the performance was very tacky. Start A Fire is my favourite Azerbaijan entry ever.
Ieva Radvilė Žalytė Sense tu is my fave song and I actually even loved the performance. It just fits to the song
Start a fire is also on my list the best Azerbaijan entry ever. What I like about Sense tu's performance is that for once we straight males got a lot of sexy eye candy, in the 21st century especially sexy stuff in ESC has mainly been aimed for the pervs.

I will never understand Denmark, Estonia, Germany, Serbia, Slovenia and Ukraine. I mean they’ve defo had worse

0 Points are hurting 😂😂😂
Finishing last in Eurovision is the most Finnish thing you can imagine. Even more than sauna is.
It is a little weird that Finland has received 0 points many times and then the selection here is a song that got some points? I was under the impression that 0 points would be a worse result.
Ljubav je, San Aggelos s'agapisa and Utopian Land are some of my all-time favs and I listen to them still in 2019 💗
And Philipp Kirkirov is now a great one behind OUTSTANDING performances

petconnect THANK YOU! Finally someone with some sense. This year won't be better tho, with a fake Ed Sheeran, who's so fucking boring that I'm literally praying for Stefan Raab to go on that stage during the performance and take the mic so that I won't fall asleep. :/
I loved the german guy who went mad on stage climbing the scaffolding and everything. he was priceless!
From the snippets I heard, I actually enjoyed some of these.

Hmm... The title of Turkey's song in 1986 14:55 was not _"Seninle bir dakika"_ but _"Şarkım sevgi üstüne"_ . The former represented Turkey in 1975. It was Turkey's first entry and finished 19th out of 19 with 3 points.
yeah still listening 'sbd'. a masterpiece.
I love Spains entry.. someone else??
It's not my kind of music but definitely not a bad song or performance, just really Spanish... we've certainly had worse songs
Spain has worse entries in 2000's with 0 points
i think "Mi barca" is an amazing song, its style actually only exists in Spain. so I can easily understand why Europe didn't appreciate something so folklore, but to me that song is pure passion :)
This song made me a fan of this singer, and I was surprised to find out that in 1983 nobody outside Spain yet seemed to have had an idea of Flamenco.

This is amazing! 😂😂😂
Spain 1983 stands out for me - epic, iconic.
Actually, Spain has sent far worse songs. Definitely, "Quién maneja mi barca" isn't an easy tune (flamenco + synth) but the performance was great.
As an Austrian, I have to admit that 2012 was a real low point for us in ESC history.
I mean, we had last place finishes before, but whoever green-lighted this piece of feces should have been fired on the spot.
Edit: The "big-five-rule" should be taken away if you finish in last place; You gotta earn your way back.
Most entries are pretty good but the worst nentry from finland is the worst song i ever heard!!!!
I dont get why Ann-Sophie from germany get no points!!!! And the worst song from bosnia is my favorit song!!!!
JARNO GAMING Finland’s song was the best out of these by far
Its your opinion but i dont like it.
The irony is that if it was televote only Finland would have qualified :p

i agree on Bosnia
Today I learnt that Domenico Modugno both won and got 0 points in two different editions of the ESC.

O. Torvald really didn't deserve this position... Juri the same...
yeah, I’m still kinda sad about their placings, even though it’s been some time.
The name of the Turkish song in 1987 is "Şarkım Sevgi Üstüne" (My Song is on Love). "Seninle Bir Dakika" (One Minute With You) is the first song who competed for Turkey in ESC in 1975, and although it came last too by getting just 3 points, is now considered one of the best songs ever in ESC.
I think that Australia,Belgium,Bulgaria,Denmark,Italy,Luxembourg,Monaco,Montengero, the Netherlands,Romania,Slovakia Sweden and Yugoslavia were great actually. But Estonia... it always breaks my heart,he was one of the best and my favourite one(
Lenka Merryland the singer for Yugoslavia died a few days after Lys Assia
What about Germany?!
Push The Button was my favourite, people just didn't have that sense of humour.
I'm Bored it's not a humor contest.
I'm Bored The two reasons that this song didn't qualified : 1) This song was so awful, 2) It's a troll act but this song isn't funny at all. Just ridiculous
Serbia is GOOD. Their worst result is 98 points?
4:15 Malene Mortensen entered Eurovision in 2002 with the song “tell me who you are” and came 24th with just 7 points. And in 1996 Denmark came 25th with 22 points with the song “Kun med dig” by Dorte Andersen and Martin Loft, and didn’t advance from the semifinals.
Greetings from Estonia! Hell ya that card trick was awkward as hell.
Black Smoke is such a great song, in my opinion! I can't believe it didn't get any points at all!
Start a fire is one of my favourite Eurovision songs. I’m pretty confused why it’s on here
Thanks, my favorite too.
And btw, i'm from Azerbaijan 🇦🇿
Are you going by points or placement? Its just that I've noticed some songs are from years when there were no semis. Because Same'ach got 7 points but finished 22nd (last) in a year when there were no semis.
'Play' and 'Siren' are my two favorite entries from Estonia, and just Eurovision favorites of mine in general. I'm still sad those entries didn't make to the finals. I also think the worst resulted entry from my country, the Netherlands, definitely wasn't the worst song we sent, and a pretty nice song. ('Ik Ben Verliefd/Sha-la-lie' would be our worst entry imo.)
moustache was a good song but it sucked live
I know right?!? I still have the studio version in my playlist.
Are these only from the finals, or also the one's who didn't even got there?
Santonio Provenzano if it says (SF) behind the name, it means they stranded in the semifinals
if understand your video right then the Netherlands worst resault is a 19th place in the grand final? i don,t know if i remember correct but did not the Netherlands fail to qualify for the grand final in 2009 with the group "the toppers" with the song shine?
Does anyone know the song from the opening title bit? :)
Denmark and Estonia😍 both in my top 5😅 still listening to them (both belong to my fav bands/singers)
I love Georgia 2014 so much!
Hi! Thanks for this video. It did contain certain mistakes, however. Norway ended with 0 points in 1978 and 1981. The Neherlands in 1962 and 1963 ended with 0 points.
Creating a video like this is complicated by the fact that, from 1956 to 2003 inclusive, the Eurovision Song Contest was a one-night show on TV and radio. 2004 was the first year in which official, televised semi-finals (which were part of the contest) in addtion to the Saturday evening Grand Final; there was one semi-final from 2004 to 2007 inclusive, and two semi-finals from 2008 onwards. Failing to qualify from a semi-final 2004 onwards is surely worse than finishing last (with or without points) in the Grand Final anytime in Eurovision history.
I liked Tijana, Hannah Mancini, Max Jason Mai, Trackshittaz... and realized I could go on and on and on XD
In that Switzerland clip it is a pity you didn't show the bit where the idiot hit himself in the face with the microphone.
Why norway have sung in spanish???
It's Eurovision:D
I' m Spanish and I was like wtf XD
It could have been Spanish this year too. Like the entire song. Good thing it didn't though..
Nothing against Spanish just seems a bit strange for Norway to send a Spanish song.
That is true, but i prefer the catalan songs like Andorra's songs XD
Simplicio 92 Norway have scored 0 points on 3 occasions so how can this song be the worst from Norway?
I can't believe how Italy 1966 entry didn't get any points. It is one of the best ESC song ever!
14.57 the song named "Şarkım Sevgi Üstüne" not "Seninle Bir Dakika" and "Seninle Bir Dakika" is our first song in eurovision by Semiha Yankı
Ljubav je was soooo good :(
I decided to break this down a little more, so maybe this is a little more accurate,
First, here are the entries by country that had the worst placing in the finals. I'm discounting Andorra, which never competed in the final. (I also didn't really bother with Morocco, since it only participated once). Also, for countries with the same worst placing, I'm counting it by how many other countries were in the competition that year. (So, for instance, Albania's worst finals placing on three occasions was in 17th place, but there were 43 competitors in 2008 and 40 in 2009 and 2015, so 2008 is counted as having done worse). There isn't an exact science to it, though: Belgium, for instance, finished last in 1993 when there were more competitors, but their '65 entry was their 0 points entry when more competitors were in the contest, so whatever.
