The awkward part was that he got to be on stage for quite some time before anyone realised he shouldn't be there. Most thought he was part of the performance until the guards threw him out.
If it is of any consolation to Dima, his stage walk is the only thing I remember from that contest, and my earliest eurovision memory. I didn't get that he was stuck, I just found the walking to take waay too long.
Lunaros They already covered something about messed-up notes, in the video about "Memorable Notes". Although, that video was published before ESC 2017, so Isaiah and Manel would obviously not be in it.
+Pixie +Dream Honestly I cán believe it. He's a bit of a...let's say...extraordinairy person. He's quite controversial. A few years ago, he made things awkward by asking a breastfeeding guest on his show if he could have a sip. Yet we were genuienly shocked when she lifted up her shirt, got her breasts out and he actually drank from them. Normally he's funnier than that and less..well..repulsive xD A long time ago he wrote a song called 'Ik heb je lief' (I love you/I cherish you) and that's still a great song.
As a Greek Sakis Rouvas (the Greek presenter) is smth like Harry Styles from early 2000s so we don't even complain about it, every Rouvitsa (Sakis Rouvas' fangirls) wanted to be that spokeman
Jimmy Jump during Spain's performance in Oslo 2010. Hilarious but also awkward - those security guards looking like they definitely don't wanna be on the stage even though they're supposed to catch the guy makes it even better!
No, no. Those were the "Stage fails", aka all of them being staged by the people themselves. So the hostess dress falling, the trophy breaking, and Barei's fall were all staged by themselves for laughs and giggles.
it was part of the performance, Barei has explained many times plus they did that on all the rehearsals and the semis, I don't think she would make the same mistake everytime
I love the French Spokesperson. She's a funny person. And I want her to be the spokesperson of France next year. I hope she can be a host if France wins Eurovision.
lucas Korea I actually thought it was kind of cute both times, haha 😁 And I can understand why they would want to sing along - you had amazing songs both years. Bravo! 😊
Mat B Apparently, it turns out that your typo was correct after all. The ESC RUclips channel replied to a comment here, and they did say they were "staged falls".
Well... Greece had technical issues this year! Except the closed microphone at the peak of the song, also the staging tha Fokas wanted to do wasnt that and he knew 5 days before the rehershals!! Why dont u mention that too?
But wasn't Carola's accident in 6:18 a part of an act, though? I remember it being in the middle of Petra Mede's performance, and I can see a cushion right next to her for when she "fell".
We all know that "no one is perfect" but I hope the contest will be improved yet entertaining, not just for the viewers in Europe but also around the globe.
Belgium 2006 ! The problem with the camera just in the moment that fireworks began. Poor Kate Ryan, I imagine how expensive have to be fireworks in a performance...
@@GordonHugenay Omg I just watched it! I didn't even know that was Lena because of how Petra pronounced it, I say it Leh-na but I guess its Lee-na. Thanks for letting me know the year though.

Respect to Mans Zelmerlow . First he won the Eurovision and then the year after he was one of the best Eurovision hosts of all time.
6:32 Barei's fall was obviously part of the choreography, it was not accidental
That's why he lists it among the staged fails. Barei's songwriting was more of a fail than her performance.
Who is watching this after Eurovision 2019!? 😂

False notes compilation please!💙
idk, might be offensive for some artists, they might see it as an insult, not a joke
Demingls What do you mean by "false notes"? Are those notes sung in falsetto, or are they botched notes?
It is fun for 1 and half million subscriber and offensive for maybe 10 singers, even less hah
+VieViaPaVria:
When people talk about false notes, they tend to mean botched notes, yes. Falsetto notes aren't false - unless they are botched. :)

Lunaros It's better that you direct this appeal to RTVS (Slovak state broadcaster), since they have the final say on whether to return to the contest.
When the turkey backing track changed midway through the performance... amazing how the artist continued!
Måns is a Eurovision legend now, he's never gonna let it die (and we love him for it).
