Just started this show after wanting to watch it for so long. Christ after this scene I instantly confirmed it's my new fave. And I'm not even half way through season 1

Everyone loves pleasure and justice, except for when the bills for both come. But the one thing that everyone always loves l, is feeling powerful, having their way, being said "Yes" to by fate. The desire to feel in control of stuff: materialistic and/or other people is what makes monsters feel good because being in control cancels out fear. But not feeling fear, and not being corrupted by it, are not the same thing. All those who hunger for control, fear what they believe will happen if they are not.
