Thanks for doing these videos. They have been very helpful for an aspiring VR dev like myself. I got a pretty unique game I’m making, if I do say so myself. I’m looking forward to publishing a demo earlier next year.

I was curious about the money picture for developing for the Horizon metaverse platform. It seems like it's still not picking up steam despite existing for a good while now. Do you assume the long term will bring good returns, or is Meta paying for this already enough?

I think we are still surprisingly early enough in the process and the long term will pay off. Not many companies can build these metaverse platforms. Roblox itself took over a decade prior to success.

@@arturoperez5007 Thank you for your answer and godspeed. I hope the payoff comes and you have other profitability avenues in the meantime.

Quest 3 with the improved cameras makes mixed reality more possible. But I just don't find that desirable. I much prefer the fully immersive environments. You have Funko which got their start by buying up overlooked IP and then LEGO which has a huge string of games based on popular IP. Widow's Walkabout and especially Meow Wolf are what finally convinced the kiddo to give the game a try. With Splash Mountain out of the Disney Parks, having a mini-golf version of Brer Rabbit done right and respectfully would be huge. They're good stories. They're just badly written and need to be cleaned up to respect the culture that came up with them.
