I was there too ,went all first i love techno parties in vooruit but it changed location to bigger event when i went it was like 500ppl max instead of 10000 lol love it the small venues ,he brought even hes 909drumkit
Sorry to necro,but I was also there. Was my 18th birthday,and at Luke Slater I met my first girlfriend! Psychogene was awesome as always too. Pretty sure was in the compagny of white doves and purple dolphins that night, was floating on a cloud all night long. There was an unofficial Acid/Core afterparty with Psychotroll@Twioo(Joerie's bday party for those who remember^^). So miss the days ....
Just so I will always remember: The track playing at 1:10:00 is Ignacio - Virton. Possibly the best techno track ever made, but made even better in Garnier's mix.

He said exactly this. Jeff mills live from flanders expo in Ghent the biggest name on the list in competition with Derreck May. But Derreck May didn't show up to I Love Techno bc he was programmed to early to his wishing. He had to start at 22h but he cancelled bc his name on the list was a little too small, difficult boy that Derrick May, it's sad because he gave the excuse for forgetting his vynls 2-3 times already. At Pukkelpop he didn't show up either and now didn't even show up to I Love Techno, he has done that a couple times in Belgium already the last few years. But we can continue with the other Detroit giant, Jeff Mills, he does a set of 3 hours, now live and direct from the Blue Room, Jeff Mills.

The best I've ever heard "Virton" on, was curiously by Jeff Mills, around the same time, early 2000's.
