It saddens me to see good videos like this one not utilized when so many 10000s of people are unhappy and suffering, emotionally.

I found this video extremely useful. Even at my age I'm still learning to understand my illogical emotions.

One basic foundation of therapy requires a patient to accept that others cannot “make” them angry, sad, excited, etc., and that the patient must acquire a different perspective where they must internalize their emotional responses, rather than projecting these feelings as being an automatic response triggered by external “causes”. For some reason, this is an extremely difficult view for many people to accept.

      Indeed; excellent comment!
I was in Psychoanalysis 8 years, 4 days/week. In Psychoanalysis, the "Doctors" only listen. He could have helped me instead of just trying to finish his training from being a psychiatrist to becoming an "Analyst."
There are many good psychotherapists practicing, but all I could afford then, was to be a training Analysand for the man in training at a Psychoanalytic Institute.

Obviously, I'm projecting my anger, now! Yes, projection requires understanding the concept, then watching and being aware of one's emotions. We all project automatically...this is the tricky part.

It is usually said that behind Anger there is Fear but in your video they are described as two separate emotional reactions depending on the level of threat. Does this mean that the saying "behind Anger there is Fear" is not true?

I would say that the saying is not true since these are separate emotions triggered by the perception of a threat. Anger and fear are two separate emotional responses. While research is still at a beginning stage, a good RUclips video that discusses our current understanding on emotional pathways can be found at ruclips.net/video/65e2qScV_K8/видео.html.

What if i were to theorize that, lets i wanna fight someone, but i think twice and eventually fight them. Eventhough, the anger was more than the fear, the fear still existed to some degree which explains why i had to think twice before taking action.
Is it right to think like this?

@@fivezgamingftw not right. or wrong. just your thoughts & feelings.

I believe there are a multitude of emotions behind anger. Fear may be the least troublesome. Rage, envy, jealousy, anxiety, competitiveness are other possibilities. Every person has their issues that are unique to each situation. The key is to search the deeper/underlying emotions. Practice makes us stronger.

So, based on the contents of this video, what is the proper way to live life?

While it's impossible to give a formula that works for everyone, the second video in this series that was just uploaded presents the three key characteristics of a balanced life.

Observe your feelings and emotions. Set goals, and learn to understand/analyze your sleep dreams - the key to your unconscious mind. (Also called the subconscious mind.) Projection is a very important concept; See Carl Jung's Shadow concept.

Find a Therapist, Social Worker, or Counselor with more than 10 years experience. Or take what professional help you can get, at your income level. But most of all, listen to your plea for help and become proactive. Best wishes to you. Pls take action...only you can help yourself feel better.
