Maggie, as I understand the story, they were considering this Cam cover and started working out the arrangement. They realized that to follow her road map they needed another higher voice. Tim said no I got that. They said what about the bass? Tim said Chance has it covered, and Chance said yeah no problem. Chance was the bass in his previous group. He sang bass all through this song, so that Tim wouldn't have to switch back and forth. Amazing talent.

People tend to forget that Adam Chance was the bass in another group before joining Home Free. He was the bass in Street Corner Symphony, who was on a very early season of NBC's The Sing Off and did very well. When you have time check out Street Corner Symphony, they're very good all on their own.

His solo stuff is all over several octaves, too, and quite stunning. A lot of basses have a large falsetto / head voice range, but it doesn't necessarily sound great or mix well, so it's always terrific to hear it come out strong and sweet.

Tim has some great solo Doo Wop on his solo channel. He has a whole album of it that is just great, but there are only four songs with RUclips videos: Come Go With Me; Will You Still Love Me Tomorrow/Stay; In My Room; and Since I Don't Have You. There is also a great audio of him singing Can't Help Falling in Love that shows off his range. It was recorded before he joined Home Free and he accompanies himself on the piano. Search his name and the title to find it as it is not on his own channel.

SURPRISE, SURPRISE ! It’s what Home Free does!
One of your favorite expressions of surprise is “Holy Cheese Muffins!”. …. Perhaps it’s time to be a little clearer about the cheese. Is it sharp cheddar, salty blue, creamy mozzarella, soft cream cheese, stand-alone provolone, or sweet and lumpy cottage? What ever, I get it! (LOL). There is nothing “cheesy” about this group, except the enjoyment you get from both.

IMO, they're not all switching voices. Tim is the only one. Adam Chance, is doing the BASS for Tim. He was the Bass for his previous A Cappella Group, Street Corner Symphony. Austin and Rob were doing what they do every time. They just were not shed aside because of Tim's awesome Bass. But you are not alone when you say everyone chganged their styles/voices. Several other reactors said that too when they heard Tim singing high instead of low. And of course, Adam Rupp did his normal, AWESOME job with the Beatboxing. Still a GREAT Post, Maggie.
