This lady mentioned freezer meals and it's quite possible to really think it through and have your meal ready to heat up when you get back home. @Lila Sil. Im not a hater. But you absolutely can feed a family of 7 by going to grocery store weekly. Especially if your organized. But she is just choosing to do it different and do what works for her and her family. I highly doubt every family of 7 does this. Glad it works for her.
@youareminealways probably only buying food. She bought way more than just food. She also said she is a family of 7 & they have a new baby. Babies alone cost a lot. Diapers, wipes, formula, medicine, clothes, etc. She did just fine when it gets broken done weekly.
@youareminealways and not everyone chooses to do that. Doesn't matter. It's not your family, not your money, not your life. She isn't hurting anyone. It's not like she cleaned out the store. But does this all last 5 months?? Like the greens and perishables?

DITTO! Pizza for dinner that night lol
Everytime I shop for the month I always grab a pizza to throw in the oven for dinner!
This lady mentioned freezer meals and it's quite possible to really think it through and have your meal ready to heat up when you get back home. Or even have a slow cooker meal prepped the night before and cooking throughout your shopping day. Anytime there's a challenging full-on day or week coming up, cooking & prepping food in advance is such a great help. Anything to help manage exhausting challenges, it's worth it all to be shopped up for six months :)
I usually pick up a rotisserie chicken when we do a long shopping day like that
Lmao hell yes. I never cook the day I shop lol
Hate on a grocery haul? Huh? Why? I don’t understand.. people are soo weird, lol
Some probably think there is waste or some could be a little jealous because they cannot afford the food they need.Just an opinion. However people should do what works for them under their means.
That’s what I just thought!

Sherri, you are correct. When I was diagnosed with Covid in June, my daughter who is 19, needed to make multiple trips for missing ingredients.
I have been scanning my receipts because I am terrible about shopping and realizing I forgot items for a recipe. I plan on making a master list so I know exactly what I use and can do this (to the extent we have storage because it's a small house). In the end it's cheaper because you eliminate a lot of impulse purchases.

@Lila Sil. Im not a hater. But you absolutely can feed a family of 7 by going to grocery store weekly. Especially if your organized. But she is just choosing to do it different and do what works for her and her family. I highly doubt every family of 7 does this. Glad it works for her.

@youareminealways and not everyone chooses to do that. Doesn't matter. It's not your family, not your money, not your life. She isn't hurting anyone. It's not like she cleaned out the store. Snowy River I was in college and EVERYONE knows how it is in college. So I did this experiment where I went to the store to spend $30 on healthy food. Let’s just say I only got a bag of oranges, pack of strawberries and bag of apples and all that came to $16, so I had $14 left to get turkey, wheat bread, baked chips and some orange juice, that lasted 2 weeks because the cafe food was terrible. So all that for $30. Then another time went to dollar tree and bout up food that lasted me almost a month. People are poor, some working 2 jobs and still can’t even afford to feed themselves. Not everyone is wealthy or even well off. There are still poor people, yes some people are lazy, but not all. That was just healthy, now the organic stuff of all that would have been 2-3x the price.
@@snowysnowyriver I’m tired of people saying well don’t have kids if you can’t afford food or such. Then people can’t afford to move and is stuck working at fast food jobs cause that’s all some areas have and then the healthy food is expensive. @@extraordinarybri2355 the problem with your comparison is what that your buying all fresh. If you cook from scratch and eat basic ingredients then its cheaper. Nothing wrong in storing food. Mostly we Gujaratis (Indian community) store dry food like grains, lentils, rice, flour etc for 6months to year. @@3littlemonkeys1 shut up, stop belittling people when they do something for others. Why don't you go ahead then and donate 10k worth of food for charity? What? Can't afford it? Well, then maybe get a RUclips channel and sponsorships and cash back and then you would. Oh, but I guess being able to afford to donate makes it so your donation is not valid... The biggest pile of crap reasoning I have ever seen.
@@3littlemonkeys1 i can't watch that channel. The husband/father is so cringy and seems like a real tool. He's constantly talking over his wife, she can never finish a sentence.
@@3littlemonkeys1 yeah and it is a tax write of but does it really matter. What they made on the back end.
@@wnytrashtrucks actually it does. People that give need to do so out of the goodness of their hearts and not get money back from it or film it for other people to applaud their charity. I find the most genuine givers ones that don't boast about what they do for others.
If I lived in a cold snowy place or a distance from Costco, I’d do the same. I love having food on hand, not worrying whether I have enough to make a meal. That was fun to watch!
Please do a video on how you store and organize all this stuff!! Especially your deep freezer. I can’t picture it holding everything!!
Definitely impressive! The questions that popped up in my head right away : How do you store everything? How do have all the money all at once? How long did it take to get everything together and how many people with how many carts did you have to make it? Do you still go for like fresh veggies etc?
If she's not buying groceries for months, I'm guessing theoney they would be spending weekly, they are putting away to do a bulk buy. Spread out in weeks, this would probably be around $7,000 not nearly $4,000.
She said that she will still have to go for fresh produce. Also her nu
S and built her storage shelves and she has a huge freezer

I don’t even have a Costco membership but I just love watching these videos 😂
I’m sorry you get hate! It is the biggest form of flattery 😉
How old are your kids? I cant imagine how much this haul will grow when they are teenagers!😱
Family of 9 soon to be 12, You are Not the only one with hauls like this lol, I have another 3 on the way 🤣...I get people saying "How much do you need", "You don't need that much", "You're greedy" I've had people be rude and say "Those poor kids, You're probably on centerlink benefits" I own three companies currently opening a boutique
I’m 1 of 4 kids in my family (not really a big family” but people who say that probably aren’t born in a big family too 🤣 and congrats on owning three companies and opening your boutique! :)

On That Slow-Mo You're amazing
You gotta be Australia. People suck. I shop in bulk so my grocery trips look random as. There is a costco but it’s over in Canberra and it’s between 1.5-2 hours away.
Don’t worry if you can help it about the haters.
My husband was always in to bulk buying even before I married him... and first it surprised me... but wow it works so well for us.... no sudden trips to find this and that... as a family of 3 we still do it
Hey. You can put some of the yeast in a dry, covered jar in the refrigerator and then freeze the rest in the original packaging sealed in a ziplock bag. Stays fresh for years.
I can't even buy food for 2 weeks without it to go bad... eventually.. so..looking forward to learn how to do that ❤️
I'm one of 8 and my parents used to do this all the time. Particularly when my mom was pregnant.
Awww
We are a family of 8 and I stockpile too! You just never know! Always comes in handy but my storage seems ridiculous to people who don’t feed as many! You did a great job!
I think people are just use to stores being stocked. I don’t think people understand the need for stocking up for months.
@@kelann89 or understand how much they really need. Depending on what kind of climate also depends on how to store such as in the southern states bugs are a problem and people will freeze the flour before storing on glass jars. If you live in hurricane ally you may want dehydrated because easily moved lighter and smaller space requirements. Both of these can be used anywhere in the world too. Knowledge is key specially in storing food.
This woman is living my DREAM!!
Same!! Omg I would love to have this much money to grocery shop like this.
You are an amazing mother. To take this amount of time shopping, organizing, storing and prepping this tremendous grocery haul so that your husband and children are ready to survive the winter and throughout the year is remarkable and genius. You are the modern-day Proverbs Chapter 31 Verses 10-31 wife. Bravo for you and your family 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
Hi. How are you doing?
