I think you’re taking a lot of Haleena’s game away. Haleena was more active than a lot of people give her credit for. Watching the feeds it was Haleena’s convo with Gino that sets up his convo with summer that ends up getting Kyle up. It was more so Haleena’s relationship with Marty that kept Kevin off the block than Kevin’s manipulation there. It was between Kevin and Jace on the Gino eviction week and Haleena convinces Marty that Jace is as willing to flip as Kevin is. Kevin is for sure much more in control of the game than she is but she does ALOT more work than she gets credit for. She should be above Josh.
Like yes I would say Haleena was actively playing a lot better strategically than Josh at almost every point but like she did it in such a way that gave her almost no respect or win equity from the Jury, while still appearing to be the more attractive boot in comparison to Kevin for challenge strength to people in the house (I would mainly credit Kevin there for threat management than discrediting Haleena but its still a knock).

I would say that Kevin had more of a part of staying in the F4 than you think. Betty and Josh completely clocked Kevin’s game and clocked the exact reason why he would win and also knew that he had better connections on the jury then he was letting on. They went from having the right read about Kevin’s jury chances, with Betty even going as far as saying that Kevin doesn’t need comp wins to win the game, to taking him to F3 because he couldn’t win without comp wins 😂.
the thing about kevin is that I don't think I need to see him play again to know for sure that he's one of the best cause he's dsiplayed his ability to play from the bottom and strategic versatility. Compare this to other players like Cody or Derrick who come in with the dominant alliance and play from the top at the start, never having to deal with the amount of adversity that Kevin did.
The thing is we've seen other players who have played very similarly to Kevin, at least at points within their games. Nicole Franzel in BB18 is a great example, as is Tyler in BB20. Cliff in BB21 does a very similar thing. The reason that I would put a Nicole higher than kevin is because we've seen her both play very well from the top (the first half of BB18) and very well from the "bottom" (the second half of that season, with the Victor and Michele moves being great examples). Yes Kevin played quite well, but he seems like the kind of guy who would likely self destruct if he's ever in the power position, and that's really bad
Agreed, that's why Dr. Will and Dan are universally considered the best PLAYERS in Big Brother history despite Derrick and Cody playing better winning games. The former 2, along with Kevin here, were able to work their way out of the bottom so masterfully, in a position where 99% of players would have easily been evicted somewhere along the way, whereas Derrick and Cody were able to play the game on easy mode throughout both their seasons due to quickly establishing such a strong alliance structure and the outsiders never having the power to make a move against them.

Just feel like Kevin's levels of adversity he had to face is at the top with players like Will on 2, Danielle on 7, Dan on 14, and he was still able to clinch the win in a dominating fashion. Idk about how he'd self-destruct cause he was indirectly in power positions by manipulating the people who were actually in power. I think a lot of his game is intended to make up for the fact that he seems to be genuinely bad at comps.

Add that to the fact she literally beats anyone except Victor at the end (its been basically confirmed she beats Corey 100 percent) and it all shows a very strong game of Big Brother Its a VERY similar game to what kevin played, but with WAY less luck involved (No gummy bears, no nomenies, no almost getting flipped on week 1, no Kyle level bad play). And its not like Kevin was controlling the game the whole time. From the Jess HOH to the triple, yes absolutely. Summer played a pretty bad game. She royally sucked in all the competitions and when she was on the block against Moose, she didn’t even try to campaign. How her and Helena are this high on the list is a shame.They both suck

To all of those who disrespect Josh's game. Josh is perfectly placed at #2. I love Hermon, but Hermon cannot touch the top 4 being first juror. His 5th place is already incredibly high for an early boot (and deserved because he played very well) Jace; come on. Jace was on top of Gino all most of the season. No disrespect, but placing her second would be a travesty to such a good season. Honestly, she belongs around Marty and Gino just for not using that secret veto alone. Her game was an absolute mess for like 80% of her time there. She was put on the block on week 2 as her showmance was the mancrush of the HOH. Even her showmance didn't object to her leaving. She allowed Stephanie to be put up as they were frienenemies but Steph was one of her only real allies in the house. Come on, no disrespect, but don't tell me Jace belongs any higher than #6. I find Betty low at #6. But I wouldn't put her higher than Haleena or Josh. So for me, I would swap Betty and Jace. I would put Betty at #4 and again, Jace #6. And again, to all those who are disrespecting Josh's game; don't get it twisted. Josh played a DOMINANT game. His issue is that he was player versus a Micheal Jordan type of BB player in Kevin. Josh was leagues better than most of those players without having seen more than a few episodes of the show. Like Josh would beat Haleena in this bitter jury that's for sure and Haleena deserves #3 this season. I LOVE BETTY - Betty is my favorite person on the cast. But the only reason she beats Josh is the Canada vote. It would probably have been a 4-4 split vote with Canada as the tie breaker (thank God it didn't happen). Let's put it this way; Josh's downfall was understanding how good Kevin was and respecting him too much. He believed every word Kevin said. By the way, what does that mean. That means that Josh, Haleena and maybe Summer and Jess too were the only HGs in the house who understood what we saw in Kevin. Marty, Jace, Gino and Kyle were trying to take advantage of Kevin. All the other houseguests were playing with blinders on. Josh recognized early that Kevin was playing the best game in the house and KEVIN REALIZED THE SAME. Kevin even said it; he was the devil on Josh's shoulder (and Betty was the angel). What does that tell you? Josh was the player of the season. He was the main character. Also, Josh was on the block for the Stephanie blindside. As a prime target, who had won part 1 of the first HOH of the season (with Herm and Moose) and had come close on the second veto of the season (versus Jacey-Lynn - who was impressive that day) - the WHOLE HOUSE, even Marty - wanted to save him. Even Jace and Gino would have voted Steph out if they were made aware. You can give credit to Kevin all you want for this, but Josh was sitting pretty drinking tea while he had his army of followers: Betty, Tynesha, Summer, Jess and yes, Kevin CAMPAIGNING all around the house to keep him safe versus Stephanie. Josh was in an incredibly good spot in the house at almost every point in the season. Everyone wanted to be his final 2, even Marty. Everyone thought they were good with Josh when he made no promises to anyone. They should have evicted him since week 2, but they never did. He even got Kevin to believe he would throw the Final 4 HOH (big knock on Kevin's game in my opinion). He took himself to the Final 2 chair. No, I'm sorry, the Josh slander is ridiculous. I feel like most people have not watched the show very much. Marty, who was targeting Josh almost all season, put him on the block twice; Josh gets Marty evicted in the triple. Come on people, don't be revisionists. I'll end by saying - I still believe that a bitter jury and Josh's lack of knowledge and understanding of the show/game is the reason he lost the game. Kevin was shocked at the finale because, even Mighty Kevin knows that Josh should have won this. He played a DOMINANT game. Kevin's was just a bit more dominant.

Yes and no. Derrick played against a really bad cast as well, but is still generally regarded as a top tier player. Even Dan and Dr. Will didn't have THAT much competetion on their seasons. And Dane/Cody only opposition was members of their own alliance. So while everyone else played bad on Kevin's season, I don't think that detracts from him as a player. There just isn't too many good BB players to begin with.
In Derrick's season there was Amber B. who won a very similar and possibly more intense game of The Challenge her first season(Very rare now a days). She was the first player from Big Brother to win The Challenge. You have Nicole F. Who won big brother 18 against Paul who ran that house. Nicole stated she played the same game as bb16. I don't think anyone would consider that entire cast weak. At least not even close to comparable to bbcan10
Everyone knows the first couple seasons none of the cast knew what they were doing. BB7 where Dr will actually ran the house was full of all-stars, literally the best of the previous seasons but he didn't win BB7. Mike boogie won and had to go against Dr. Will and Janelle.
Hermon did say that Betty would have won the jury vote so she should be higher than 6. It’s okay though. I agree with most of the rankings but Josh shouldn’t be that high. Betty should be higher than Haleena. She’s the one that took her out 🙄

I think you rank summer way too high, she actively didn't do anything for her own game, and she was annoying AF, couldn't do anything for herself and fake as hell personality. even if she did make it to final 2 her final speech would make people not vote for her I guarantee it! summer is def bottom 5 on this season
Being annoying AF and fake has hell has nothing to do with gameplay rankings and everything to do with your personal opinion. That’s not how you rank players.
@@bbtown832 she still played badly overall, she only made it as far as she did because she was perceived as weak by the other house guests. Hermon was on the complete opposite end of this spectrum btw

I love Hermon, but Hermon cannot touch the top 4 being first juror. His 5th place is already incredibly high for an early boot (and deserved because he played very well)
Jace; come on. Jace was on top of Gino all most of the season. No disrespect, but placing her second would be a travesty to such a good season. Honestly, she belongs around Marty and Gino just for not using that secret veto alone. Her game was an absolute mess for like 80% of her time there. She was put on the block on week 2 as her showmance was the mancrush of the HOH. Even her showmance didn't object to her leaving. She allowed Stephanie to be put up as they were frienenemies but Steph was one of her only real allies in the house. Come on, no disrespect, but don't tell me Jace belongs any higher than #6.
I find Betty low at #6. But I wouldn't put her higher than Haleena or Josh. So for me, I would swap Betty and Jace. I would put Betty at #4 and again, Jace #6.
And again, to all those who are disrespecting Josh's game; don't get it twisted. Josh played a DOMINANT game. His issue is that he was player versus a Micheal Jordan type of BB player in Kevin. Josh was leagues better than most of those players without having seen more than a few episodes of the show. Josh made lots if rookie mistakes, that's for sure, but he played an all around solid game. Far better than Haleena who is the closest to him. Like Josh would beat Haleena in this bitter jury that's for sure and Haleena deserves #3 this season.
I LOVE BETTY - Betty is my favorite person on the cast. But the only reason she beats Josh is the Canada vote. It would probably have been a 4-4 split vote with Canada as the tie breaker (thank God it didn't happen).
Let's put it this way; Josh's downfall was understanding how good Kevin was and respecting him too much. He believed every word Kevin said. By the way, what does that mean. That means that Josh, Haleena and maybe Summer and Jess too were the only HGs in the house who understood what we saw in Kevin. Marty, Jace, Gino and Kyle were trying to take advantage of Kevin. All the other houseguests were playing with blinders on. Josh recognized early that Kevin was playing the best game in the house and KEVIN REALIZED THE SAME. Kevin even said it; he was the devil on Josh's shoulder (and Betty was the angel). What does that tell you? Josh was the player of the season. He was the main character.
Also, Josh was on the block for the Stephanie blindside. As a prime target, who had won part 1 of the first HOH of the season (with Herm and Moose) and had come close on the second veto of the season (versus Jacey-Lynn - who was impressive that day) - the WHOLE HOUSE, even Marty - wanted to save him. Even Jace and Gino would have voted Steph out if they were made aware. You can give credit to Kevin all you want for this, but Josh was sitting pretty drinking tea while he had his army of followers: Betty, Tynesha, Summer, Jess and yes, Kevin CAMPAIGNING all around the house to keep him safe versus Stephanie. Josh was in an incredibly good spot in the house at almost every point in the season. Everyone wanted to be his final 2, even Marty. Everyone thought they were good with Josh when he made no promises to anyone. They should have evicted him since week 2, but they never did. He even got Kevin to believe he would throw the Final 4 HOH (big knock on Kevin's game in my opinion).
He took himself to the Final 2 chair. No, I'm sorry, the Josh slander is ridiculous. I feel like most people have not watched the show very much.
Marty, who was targeting Josh almost all season, put him on the block twice; Josh gets Marty evicted in the triple. Come on people, don't be revisionists.
I'll end by saying - I still believe that a bitter jury and Josh's lack of knowledge and understanding of the show/game is the reason he lost the game. Kevin was shocked at the finale because, even Mighty Kevin knows that Josh should have won this. He played a DOMINANT game. Kevin's was just a bit more dominant.
You realize Jacey Lynne not using the veto was the correct move right? There was no need to. Also she was the brains between her and Gino so I think breaking her down to just his fucktoy is insulting to her game
Nah Hermon deserves a top 5 place purely due to the fact that everyone eliminated after him played THAT BADLY
It’s hard to say if Kevin is a good player due to the fact at how bad everyone else played. Is he a shark among fish, or a frog among tadpoles ?
Yes and no. Derrick played against a really bad cast as well, but is still generally regarded as a top tier player. Even Dan and Dr. Will didn't have THAT much competetion on their seasons. And Dane/Cody only opposition was members of their own alliance. So while everyone else played bad on Kevin's season, I don't think that detracts from him as a player. There just isn't too many good BB players to begin with.

In Derrick's season there was Amber B. who won a very similar and possibly more intense game of The Challenge her first season(Very rare now a days). She was the first player from Big Brother to win The Challenge. You have Nicole F. Who won big brother 18 against Paul who ran that house. Nicole stated she played the same game as bb16. I don't think anyone would consider that entire cast weak. At least not even close to comparable to bbcan10
Dan had to go up against Janelle, and Mike boogie. Janelle known for being a comp beast, and boogie known for being the master of manipulation.
Everyone knows the first couple seasons none of the cast knew what they were doing. BB7 where Dr will actually ran the house was full of all-stars, literally the best of the previous seasons but he didn't win BB7. Mike boogie won and had to go against Dr. Will and Janelle.
Hermon did say that Betty would have won the jury vote so she should be higher than 6. It’s okay though. I agree with most of the rankings but Josh shouldn’t be that high. Betty should be higher than Haleena. She’s the one that took her out 🙄
And just it mean that Betty take out Haleena, that is very minor (for the most part)

Um while talking about Kevin he wasn’t the first to be nominated Week 1 and Survive to win the game, that was Steve from Big Brother 17, (although it was during that because of Battle of the Block so maybe this doesn’t count). Besides that I 100% agree with this list.
The stat is staying on the block for the vote of week 1. Steve won veto and took himself off the block for the vote.
