- In this video, I review the latest season of Big Brother Canada, BBCAN9, which was an insane season from beginning to end and I had a lot of fun running through the terrible gameplay throughout the season.

In my opinion the recipe for a good season is having equal players, either all good or all bad like bbcan9. Having one mastermind player/alliance makes for a boring season. The crazy personalities help of course.
Yea I agree, but someone like Dan was really entertaining in bb14 and he was the mastermind. No one else in the house was on his level.
@@tahiirxwest I'm mostly talking about modern bb, the players "in this post Derek era" are easier to be lead.

I really liked this season. The way this played out reminds me of Survivor Gabon in how there are so many bad players but the characters are great. Overall a really solid season.
I think this BB Canada season was the Big Brother equivalent to Survivor: Gabon in that the cast was terrible at playing the game but their equal incompetency and chaotic personalities made for a very entertaining and actually great season.
I’m DUMB. I completely forgot that BBCan9 just ended. I was expecting a review of The Circle US Season 2 today, but this is a pleasant surprise!
I kind of had a feeling he'd prioritize BBCAN, and I'm okay with that. Still would like to see his thoughts on The Circle season 2 because I love his videos.
This season was so good! The players were absolutely awful at the game, but that’s what made it to so good! It was so chaotic!!!! The drama was some of the best we’ve ever seen in the shows history.
33:10 that’s wrong imo. Ty couldn’t just “get rid of Beth”. Because If Jed used the veto on himself, tera would have put up ty against Beth not breydon. And in that position ty could have gone home. The only way ty escapes the block that week is if Jed uses the veto on Beth
Loved this season, entertaining week after week, never slowed down. Cast played from the start, unpredictable comp results, drama, deserving final 3, no player steamrolled, twists weren't overpowering. Top tier season for sure! It was fantastic

Yeah, these players are far from the best players we've had on the show, but the constant terrible moves actually contributed greatly to the overall quality due to the constant power shifts and alliance changes and blindsides. It was a really nice break from the complete slog that was BB22.
A+ effort to the diversity-aimed casting too. Really didn't have a problem watching any of the characters on the show. Pleasantly surprised that even all the hot dude tropes that were casted were not assholes either. Looking forward to the US season since apparently they have the same thing in mind.
Really great video. This really was a season of "who made the least mistakes" and I'm glad you highlighted a lot.
I think Tera needed to evict Kiefer AND Ty to have enough redemption from her eviction to win over the jury, and Kiefer mentioned in exit interviews he would've taken Ty over Tera when he would've beaten either.
Easily the best season since BB20 and one of the best overall.
I think everyone except Josh and Kyle is a candidate to return.
I’d take a josh return over a Tina return tbh!
I could honestly see Josh returning because of how great of a character he was. Kyle is definitely not a candidate though.

I’ll be honest this is the best season of Big Brother Canada I’ve ever seen. Possibly of Big Brother in it’s entirety.

Defs worth the watch! Start with this season
I absolutely loved this season. I loved Ty and was rooting for him and Kiefer because they were the best players. I'm super happy that a ruthless and cutthroat player like Ty won. Hopefully this win sets a precedent for this type of gameplay to be rewarded.
can we be honest that Ty wasn't really cutthroat at all, honestly I don't even think he did a lot like Keifer or even Beth to be considered cutthroat
@@devondonato4609 ty lying to his best friend all week that he was going to vote him out is cut throat. Beth wasn’t cut throat at all, she didn’t even want jed to go, she was trying to convince kiefer and ty not to do it.

I almost think that the Covid lockdowns affected the way a lot of the houseguests acted and played.

I’m going to do a season review
This season is unbelievable. They're characters and personalities are so different and diverse and are so over the top as if it's like a cartoon. I would never believe humans can think and make decisions as similar as cartoon characters.
A season full of desperate and dellusional people. Yet oddly enough, it worked out. I think this is my most favorite Canadian season ever. So unpredictable, so messy, full of ups and downs, so questionable. Personally, I'm okay with any of the three winning. A rich story nonetheless.

Even though he would go up against Jed, Jed would probably go first. Giving Ty another chance.
Damn I just finished the season and because I didn't watch the feeds I had no idea Victoria was so terrible.
Why do you keep saying these players are "bad"? Come on, give them some credit, this is the best season for me. All the 14 players are decent, even Julie and Josh (whom you ranked at the bottom in one of your videos), they fought hard to stay and came out with some smart campaign strategies. Sure, Ty, Keif and Tera have made some mistakes in the game, but they are still good players. Their read on each other and the entire house was 90% accurate. Jed, Austin and Vic are definitely comp beasts but none of them made it to the top 5 which should tell you that everyone was playing for the win and no one was able to dominate the house.
My three winner picks were 1st 3rd and 5th on the season so that works out good, I am 90% sure the winner was my pick but I am pretty sure he was.
Ty was my #1 winner pick lol so yay

so many people love this season and idk i just didnt care for it. the teams twist was stupid and pointless, the players were horrible, the aesthic of the jungle made the house look trashy and almost like an empty warehouse. Victoria was really the only person who was willing to make the game, a game. alot of players hiding and doing nothing. i believe lataoya and josh should of gone further and i think would make the season better. i also thinkbetween the final 2 breydon should of won. if it wasnt for the last like 6 episodes this season would of been the worse season ever.
This season was literally gabon
