    people saying his vocals werent perfect - loreen isnt the best vocalist in the show, either. shes good, but she was clearly judged for the whole package, such as how expensive and modern the staging looked. unicorn got a lot of points for the same reason. eurovision is quickly becomnig a show in which the jury looks not just in a narrow vocal and "spotify friendly" criteria list, but also who can afford making the most expensive stage show. both of which are sadly criteria which overlook X factor and the parts of a performance that cant be judged in such logical, quantifiable ways.

    It is difficult to sing and dance at the same time, which is recognized by singers. Käärijä is very good, with a real voice, good originality, humorous and interesting banter, and singing in his own mother tongue, which is very good. If you point out the standard, Käärijä is his unique style. I like it very much and I was instantly fascinated💚💚💚💚💚💚👍👍👍👍👍

      @@DruzyWoozy. The winner isnt decided purly off of live vocals LMAOOOO, Kaarija's performence was better and he also recieved a record breaking amount of Televotes, and the fact that Loreen got so much love from the Jury and Kaarija got absolutely shafted by the Jury is why she ended up winning, cause the Jury would rather see someone win twice and have ABBA's 50th in Sweden then pick a winner that the people actually liked

      @@khalilparker1473 eh, I’d say Loreen still won fair and square. 1st in jury, 2nd in televote. I personally do not like cha cha cha (which you can not come for me because I usually like this side of songs, aka Italy 2021, Croatia 2024, and Finland 2021) because the song didn’t sound good in the grand final. Australia was my winner and I understand how much Finland deserved to win but the point of this contest was to unite people, not divide them because the person they wanted to win didn’t win

    From my understanding the jury categories are the song itself(originally and composition)
    Live performance( vocal part and staging of the performance) and then crowd/audience reactions. When Loreen’s performance is designed to be the strongest if any other songs are at a huge disadvantage. It’s kind of unfair but it’s not against the rules to perform in a way that are above the standards that the jury apparently has that it becomes an unfair advantage.

    When 70% of the decisions the jury make are based solely on the performance and over half on the strength of the performer(s) themselves. It’s reasonable someone to think a performer has a decent fan base to fight the televote battle so absolutely stun the jury and gain their points.

  • @munaclassic4020
    @munaclassic4020 9 месяцев назад +1

    People who say originality should count for more it’s not the main focus of its own “category” the jury were given. Also using many samples from different sources and having it sound amazing is a massive component to COMPOSITION the other part to originally and as originally in a decent amount of genres is hard it’s not super important.

      @@lb2419 No one expects more points for Käärijä. But instead we would expect juries doing their job professionally, giving balanced points to all acts as they deserve, and not only to that one act they prefer. Juries were brought back to prevent block voting, but instead preventing it, they practised it to the extreme.
      I don't mind Loreen getting the most jury points, and Käärijä getting the 4th position from the juries, but the difference, that's unexplainable.
      No way Loreen was 2 or 3 times better than everyone else, getting +92% jury points of the jury's 2nd place.
      Robbed means that juries gave ESC history's biggest headstart (+177 points) to Loreen, and made it impossible to anyone else to win, no matter the televote results.

      @supertiredmerr Год назад +4

      @@Eva-mp7xg if the jury really did their jobs, kaarija would get somewhere between 10th - 15th in the jury vote. 4th in the jury looking so suspicious right now! so he would still lose even if he got the highest point in televote. Idk why you're complaining about the jury. The jury help him as much as they could by giving him more points than they usually did 😂

    • @Eva-mp7xg
      @Eva-mp7xg Год назад +18

      @@supertiredmerr Maybe because it's not a singing competition? Evaluation of vocal capabilities should include rap, metal, operatic singing... everything.
      Originality and composition should be rewarded with points, as well as staging and performance, and overall impression.
      Also, there's nowhere in the pointing criteria that says that the pop genre should be pointed higher than metal / rock / techno / electric / rap or anything else.
      There are great deep dive videos where you can find what would be the outcome if juries pointed this year professionally (e.g. ThePeaceAround put Finland into 3rd place which sounds reasonable. I can recommend her deep dive video.)
