Absolutely. The arena was hyped as hell for this song. The noise levels were insane. Easily the most loved on the night. The chant from the euovillage (outside the arena) where people were watching on a massive screen could literally be heard miles away.
I was lucky enough to be in the arena for the grand final. The crowd reaction was absolutely wild. Everyone was behind him to win. He won the crowd vote by miles. Absolutely one of the most iconic songs from Eurovision ever. I cannot describe to you how much the crowd was loving him and supporting him. There were points where the presenters of the show couldn’t actually be heard as the crowd was chanting cha cha cha.

I cannot imagine her thoughts, was she like in "Ahhh sсrew it, I am going to win that thing again" mood? She didn't even gain a popularity with that. I am sorry I am rude...Or maybe I am still upset becuase Finland didn't win 🙃
This was the best song of 2023 Eurovision, the best performance, the nicest guy ever, just EVERYTHING!!!! Käärijä is our hero! He is the true people's winner! LOVE HIM
He got the second highest televote score ever, under Ukraine, in 2022. Obviously, they won as a show of mass support. Everyone was cheering Käärijä and even during the voting scores, the crowd was chanting his name and the song name. Never heard that response before.
The key difference between American Idol and Eurovision is American Idol is a singing competition (only about vocals) while Eurovision is a song competition (about composition, lyrics, vocals, stage performance etc.).
I think Eurovision is a mixture between American Idol, Olympic Games and United Nations existing for 67 years. And it had 160 Million viewers this year.
Well another big difference is that the performers in the Eurovision Song Contest are usually rather professional and can be very established artists before entering the contest. American Idol would never allow for an artist with a previous long-time successful career entering their competition.
I love seeing non-Eurovision fans watching Cha Cha Cha for the first time. Everyone starts out like...WTF is this and within 3 minutes are raving along despite not having a clue what he's singing about. It's a very special performance and I love that it makes people smile.
he says at the end it's crazy it's party. it's his catchphrase. he first said it in english interview when he was asked about his song and he's not very good at speaking english and only thing he could think of was saying that.
Hands down, the best North American reaction to Finland's entry this year! So enthusiastic from the get-go and you seem genuinely curious to see more. Greetings from Finland 🇫🇮 Käärijä has been a huge fenomenon here since this song was originally released. I remember back in February I was at a club when this came and the whole club just exploded, everyone went just crazy! The song is about how he feels like he is a tough guy but actually would like to dance but is afraid because he is a badass. Then he drinks few pina coladas and out comes this new persona who doesn’t care what others think, he pours shampagne all over himself and dances his ass off. Käärijä has given so much joy to us this year and I hope he continues to find his way to many more people around the world. You should check out the original music video for Cha Cha Cha, it’s also amazing!
I had the absolute pleasure of being in the arena (I've been a Eurovision fan my whole life so to actually see it in the arena was a dream come true) watching the final REHEARSAL of the first semi final where he was competing to get into this final when I say the crowd went absolutely BONKERS it would be the understatement of the century! We were singing along and hyped like nobody's business!
I was throwing myself around my living room the first time I heard this on Eurovision it's an epic masterpiece imo and Finland were robbed. So glad you guys liked it 👌
The fact that your reaction video for the act that came 2nd in the competition is getting more views than the one for the winner is more proof that this is the One that should have won
Glad you enjoyed it as much as Europe did! I was grinning ear to ear watching it for the first time, and now again seeing you do the same. The song is bursting with positivity and it was the crowd favorite, though it unfortunately didn't win.
Fun fact: the number was choreographed by Fredrik "Benke" Rydman, who also did Nemo's choreography (ESC winner 2024) and Måns Zelmerlöf's entry in 2015 (ESC winner).
I LOVE your reaction! 💖 you so totally got what Cha Cha Cha is all about, fun, craziness and happiness 🎉😅 I still get the blissed out high every time I see this performance, it's utter perfection, so exhilarating 💚🩷
I love how these guys at first have their mics there ready to make comments, but then end up just watching in shock and awe with their eyes glued to the screen 😁 This is exactly the way to watch this! And this, my beloved non-ESC-fans, is what Europe has been absolutely CRAZY about since May 😁 Welcome aboard!
Not only does the song cha cha cha make me happy, but also your both reaction to the song makes me happy too. I enjoy your happiness. Thanks for making this reaction ☺️
And when people could finally vote for him directly in the MTV Europe Music Awards competition, he won over Loreen for best Nordic artist, just tells you who was the winner.
This was this years runner up - even the they wont the public vote - I'm from Ireland, we cant get into the finals anymore, even though we had the record of the most wins, so we were behind Finland this year. Love the reactions guys, there is so many Eurovision hits you have to see - you may have to do Top 5's of each country.
What a lovely reaction! If not the best I have seen. Btw. the energy shift you noticed is deliberate and totally what the song is about. It's about having a shit day (e.g. at work), sick of everything and then go out partying and getting drunk.
this is my favourite eurovision performance of all time, not sure i'm gonna watch eurovision ever again because i am still pissed he didn't win (i voted for him 20 times, i was so obsessed 💀), but this performance is already legendary. käärijä has a lot of great songs, the latest one "it's crazy it's party" is like cha cha cha part 2, but he has a lot of completely different songs, "kovis" is my favourite but it's not available on youtube or spotify 😢
I just can't hear this song WITHOUT GETTING THE BIGGEST SMILE ON MY FACE. It just makes me so happy ever. single. time. From the first ever watch with my friends on the couch in our Eurovision-watchparty to seeing you react to it now. Such a great reaction too!
i love it when people get the song and just embrace it to the fullest. the way you guys were talking about the performace made me so happy and i'm sure käärijä would be so happy to see you loving his work so much

He actually came 1st by a landslide with 376 televote points compared to the actual winner that got 243 points from the public but was heavy favourited by the juries and won overall.

Well, as a Finn 🇫🇮 here I can say Im really proud we sent him to compete. And you pronounced Käärijä totally wrong but thats ok😂 Public voted him first btw, so👏👏👏
to give a bit of context for the other comments: the points given are 50% given by the public and 50% given by juries. käärijä absolutely dominated the public votes, so you could say he's the peoples' winner, but loreen (who i assume is gonna be the last reaction) dominated the jury votes and ended up winning over all! also he did say it's crazy it's party! he's actually releasing a song with that title tomorrow (sep 15th)
I had the joy of seeing it live in that arena and the crowd was so loud you could hardly hear him! No surprise at all that Europe voted for this guy. Cannot wait for Eurovision 2024 - I’m off to Malmö! 🎉
The funniest part is how they end up not commenting at all, just watching with the biggest grins all the way trough.😂 Which was my reaction too when I saw it first. Just awesome.
Loved this preformance! it is rare for a song to be catchy and interesting the first time you hear it, but I loved this from the start and have had the song on repeat in my mind since eurovision a few months ago.
omg I adore the huge smiles you guys end up having and while doing the dance. I started out not liking this song much the first time it was on the show, but for every time I heard it during the night I ended up really enjoying it
What an amazing reaction, I could watch your video again and again, and get in a great mood from it ! Listening to Cha Cha cha always gets me in a great mood as well, never fails ! He's my Winner 100% , I don't care what the judges think. I was in Liverpool for the event, I heard people singing the song so many times, people were talking about him, and the crowd in the arena went crazy for him , it was very clear who the people wanted to win.
This was a great video! The joy on your faces at what was happening on screen was incredible to see! This went crazy in Finland! From Käärijä themed shelves at most stores to green things selling out across the country it had a bit of a cultural impact, so to say. A big thing about Eurovision is that it is big. It always shocking to watch North Americans react to it for the first time, because they have often never heard of it and have no idea the scale of how insane it all is, despite the live viewer numbers ranging up to 200 million people annually. It is a huge and very complicated production with an insane amount of detail going into pulling it off. So safe to say, there is a lot to learn about it all!
Your reaction.. one of the best I have ever seen.. enthuastics.. top! And just what this song made people to do! This was the reason I bet Käärijä to win and wished judges to give some good points, but they failed so bad! People loved.. judges wanted Loreen to win. Käärijä was still the winner! (And I lost all of my bets.)
IT‘S CRAZY, IT‘S PARTY! Welcome to the Eurovision Universe guys! 🎉🎉

So glad you guys liked it 👌
This was a genuine sensation. Blew the roof off!
Finland has won Eurovision once with heavy metal monsters. Check out "Hard Rock Hallelujah" by Lordi. It is another Eurovision classic!
I love how hyped you got🤣 This is such a genius song and performance, truly a Eurovision legend this guy!
The fact that your reaction video for the act that came 2nd in the competition is getting more views than the one for the winner is more proof that this is the One that should have won
Best review of Cha Cha Cha. Period.
The real winner that year, kisses from Spain Käärijä
Glad you enjoyed it as much as Europe did! I was grinning ear to ear watching it for the first time, and now again seeing you do the same. The song is bursting with positivity and it was the crowd favorite, though it unfortunately didn't win.
Finland was AMAZING right?
Fun fact: the number was choreographed by Fredrik "Benke" Rydman, who also did Nemo's choreography (ESC winner 2024) and Måns Zelmerlöf's entry in 2015 (ESC winner).
I LOVE your reaction! 💖 you so totally got what Cha Cha Cha is all about, fun, craziness and happiness 🎉😅 I still get the blissed out high every time I see this performance, it's utter perfection, so exhilarating 💚🩷
Your faces while watching this made me so happy
You are like me first time I saw the performance from UMK 🙂
Love it! Went to Finland to experience this man live!! Best night!
Yes, they should watch a live performance from Finland, see how it is done live....
I was there , in the arena and his performance was amazing - a real crowd pleaser
Best Cha Cha Cha reaction video EVER. Hands down. 😀🤟
It's an instant eurovision classic. Fantastic video
It´s been over a year since I last looked at this video, and it is still so enjoyable. Big smile through the whole video.
AHAHAHAH
Welcome to Eurovison!!!
This ended in 2nd place over all this year and was the public favorite.
IT'S CRAZY! IT'S PARTY!
Such a great reaction too!
i love it when people get the song and just embrace it to the fullest. the way you guys were talking about the performace made me so happy and i'm sure käärijä would be so happy to see you loving his work so much
Eurovision songs to react to:
Zitti E Buoni - Måneskin (you should 100% do a Måneskin week!)
SloMo - Chanel
Dancing Lasha Tumbai - Verka Serduchka
Stefania - Kalush Orchestra
Shum - Go_A
(No specific year or order they’re just some of the most popular and best performances!)
And he does say “it’s crazy, it’s party” at the end 😂
Real winner! Since I'm from Sweden I'm definitely excited to hopefully see Eurovision live next year. But Finland should have won. My whole family was so disappointed😭
Gonna be wearing green at the grand final!!!💚🇫🇮
Hands down the winner of last year’s Eurovision.
Had a lotta fun watching you both getting hyper like Käärijä!
I have watched this video now three times in a row - I just LOVE to watch your faces when you are enjoying Käärijä’s performance. The joy and happiness on your faces just make my day. I love watching Käärijä but even more I love watching you watching Käärijä 🤣. A lot of love from Finland - it’s crazy, it’s party 😅!
The same. It's something about us Finns. Somebody else enjoying something Finnish allows us to enjoy it more.
Great reaction guys, but now you have to watch the official video... that if anything will blow your mind. The whole arena did sing Cha Cha Cha with him
Aw, that rekindled all my Eurovision feelings of elation and confusion. Now I'm a devoted Kaarija stan - life changing stuff
This rekindled my trauma of Sweden winning Finland AGAIN 😂😭
He actually came 1st by a landslide with 376 televote points compared to the actual winner that got 243 points from the public but was heavy favourited by the juries and won overall.
lmao favorited. Just because Kaarija didnt win from the televote, doesnt mean Loreen was favorited. The jury just has better ear for better quality music. Toxic af
@nenaddimi8319 no it's actual facts sweeden only won because the judges wanted eurovision in sweeden because of abba and their anniversary
lmfao, show me proof of your facts. Stop rambling nonsense, How could they know how much they will win from the public votes. Stop tripping, Tattoo is way much better musically, artistically, conceptual and was telling a story. Kaarija was riding a human centipede. Stop being delusional and accept defeat and show some grace. Toxic@@subrune
@@nenadmkd Are you new to English perhaps? "Favored" just means they preferred it...the juries picked Sweden because they preferred it...that's all they said.
that is bullshit and just a conspiracy. Loreen was just better. Stop tripping. And i understood perfectly well, thanks for clarifying. Dumbass@@jijitters
The guy on glasses is so amazed just loved your reaction guys. I’m from SouthAmerica first time paying attention to Eurovision and believe me this song is stuck in my mind since I heard for the first time. Love Kaarija and his performance. He deserved to win.
This was the best reaction to CCC ever, thank you so much!! Couldn't agree more, Käärijä is the King 💚 You should check out the official music video for the song as well, it's so much fun 💥
Haha, that was wild!! And amazing! And wild! 😂 Mike’s face was the cherry on the top of this amazing video, don’t think I’ve ever seen him have this much fun. 😆
Käärijä is so fun and just pure joy!!! This video made me so happy, I could feel all the fantastic joyous feelings I felt last Spring during his performances in Eurovision again because you guys were also so enthusiastic towards it!!!
Best North American reaction I've seen. You really do get it, guys. We'll allow Eurovision to you.
Well, as a Finn 🇫🇮 here I can say Im really proud we sent him to compete. And you pronounced Käärijä totally wrong but thats ok😂 Public voted him first btw, so👏👏👏
I'm so glad you're reacting to this Eurovision madness 🤣 greetings from Belgium
to give a bit of context for the other comments: the points given are 50% given by the public and 50% given by juries. käärijä absolutely dominated the public votes, so you could say he's the peoples' winner, but loreen (who i assume is gonna be the last reaction) dominated the jury votes and ended up winning over all!
also he did say it's crazy it's party! he's actually releasing a song with that title tomorrow (sep 15th)
Do not start with this shit in here, they are enjoying Eurovision and you should do the same
I had the joy of seeing it live in that arena and the crowd was so loud you could hardly hear him! No surprise at all that Europe voted for this guy. Cannot wait for Eurovision 2024 - I’m off to Malmö! 🎉
Thank you guys , you made my day , welcome to eurovision , you are welcome to join the party !!! 🎉
The funniest part is how they end up not commenting at all, just watching with the biggest grins all the way trough.😂 Which was my reaction too when I saw it first. Just awesome.
You do the music for the people, not the jurors, this is a real Winner 😊
NUMBER ONE, INDEED😊💚
I love how much Joe was into it throughout the whole video with his eyes and smile wide open dancing along in disbelief 😭
Which one is Joe ? With the eyeglasses or without ?
@@pirjosaarimaki6925 He's on the right, with the glasses and the mustache.
I loved ypur reaction! I'm glad you loved it!! Käärijä is everything, he's a phenomenal artist and performer!
Best reaction ever😂❤️🇫🇮 Käärijä😍
The Peoples Prince, winner in our hearts. Its crazy, its party
It's crazy, it's party 💚
His collaboration with joost klein would be worth a watch. Trafik. ✌️
Dude - 3:19. Your reactions to the bridge was exactly the same as me. A smile washed over my face!
🤩🤩🤩🥰🥰🥰😍😇😂🤣
Best Eurovision reaction ever , welcome to the Eurovision Rabbit Hole . You got do top 10 .
ITS CRAZY, ITS PARTY!! ALL Love from Finland 🇫🇮🇫🇮❤❤❤
And when you said " baby metal " oh noo.. Baby metal is Japanese band 😂. I know what you mean but playing with words 😂😂 @babymetal
It was the best and most memorable performance this year for sure! Instant ESC royalty!
IT'S CRAZY IT'S PARTY!!!!!!
I really thought this one would win - but the public vote was overturned by the judging panel votes.
It's so lovely to watch your reaction!! Everyone I know felt the same after watching this. Happiness! And the side-moving arm dance.
And Finland is the TRUE winner 🥳💚💚💚💚💚🇫🇮 Suomi 🇫🇮
