I have tried with 3 setting and the router works better but I found that the white cable has a special setting not as a normal Ethernet cable I would like to keep my router in my rom but the modem in the 1st Fluor in the living room, did you find it?
Does the acces point make your normal Wi-Fi hub and the new router as one internet so the signal is coming from 2 different routers but as the same so there’s full coverage

Connect router via Ethernet cable to u r pc and login in router turn of dhcp mode and if u r router support repeter mode then go to wireless settings connection mode to repeter

But this device can create two wifi ( 1 from 2,4 Ghz and second from 5Ghz) to one wifi network

You can basically run the same ssid on both 2.4 and 5ghz and have your devices access the one that is in range.

and in the Nighthawk router settings it has AP mode (Access Point mode) ,
