You have so many good books. I am 56 and how I got into liking Reading Fantasy was the Caraval series.
Fantasy (and books in general) is for all ages!! 😁 I’ve been seeing the Caraval series pop up a lot now and I feel like I need to read it. So glad you liked it!! 😄🫶🏽

I can't recommend the Bear Town series enough! It is my favorite series! Buy all three Bear Town books but please read them in order! Do not worry about the final book, The Winners, bring chunky...you will fly through it, in fact, you will slow your reading towards the end because you eon't want it to end. Well worth the time invested in these 3 books.❤
Something from Tiffany’s was so good I didn’t read it but I watch the screen adaption of it. Interracial couple at least in the screen adaption it was.

By the Book is Book Two in the series on my tbr for all the series
So I noticed. This series collab between authors is so darn cool. I can’t wait to get into each of these books.
The Winners is #3 in the Beartown series, FYI! Maybe try #2 to see if you want to read that #3 doorstop. :) I actually didn't finish #3, but others loved it as a conclusion to the series.
I gave Normal People and In Five Years five stars! Some intro fantasy you might enjoy are Spin the Dawn by Elizabeth Lim, Walk On Earth a Stranger by Rae Carson, A Curse So Dark and Lonely by Brigid Kemmerer, and Once Upon a Broken Heart by Stephanie Garber. I like more magical realism/not too complex world building and all of these fit the brief!
A good intro to dystopian is The Hunger Games imo. It gets darker as you move through the series but is so so good!

Oohhh I love this dynamic of mom and daughter!! I watched just a little bit of your intro video and yall remind me of us. I’m a homeschooling mom of 5 too! And I have 1 daughter who loves to read, reads more than I do! All my kids do read.
That is awesome! I’ll definitely check out your channel. All 5 of my kids read too, my whole family including hubby does. We just have one that is a super reader. 😀
@@TBRwithMomandChar my hubby is NOT a reader. Lol my son is dyslexic but listens to audio books, and I have 2 who prefer graphic novels, but that’s better than nothing! (And one of those is only 8 so once she gets hooked into chapter books she’ll probably be like her sisters who read).
It's called a blurb too when others say something on book. Many books to read. Many I want to read too. Im currently reading The Housemaid's Secret by Freida McFadden and 142 pages into it. Also I'm listening to Nightbane by Alex Aster (lightlark #2) I'm just about 4hrs into it. Loving them both.
I think both Elin Hilderbrand books are good but I would choose Five Star Weekend 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟You’ve chosen a lot of great books. Enjoy ❤

You seem to enjoy inter-racial stories, I was wondering if you ever saw the movie “Loving”, I believe it’s based on a true story. I own the movie, but I haven’t watched it yet- been busy reading books. I love inter-racial stories too.
I do perhaps because it’s relatable to me. I’ve been in an interracial marriage for over 20 years. 😀
I do want to see this movie, the back story is so intriguing. Not to mention their story is very impactful.
