- The sisters loved each other, and united in a passionate adoration for their brother. In a recent book published in England, the Grand Duchesses have been described as Cinderellas, who were entirely subservient in family life owing to the attention paid to their brother. This is untrue. It is a fact that the Empress ardently desired a son, and that the birth of four daughters in succession was a disappointment to her, but she loved her daughters, they were her inseparable companions, and their plain and rather strict upbringing had nothing whatever of the Cinderella element.
This account about the four Romanov girls was written by Lili Dehn, a close friend of the last Empress of Russia, Alexandra Feodorovna. She witnessed many of the most important events, of the sunset years of the Romanov Dynasty. Her words consist an intimate first-hand account, from the perspective of a palace insider, and close friend of Alexandra.

Olga would have made a grand empress, Tatiana a great nurse, Maria would have been a great mother and wife and Anastasia a funny comedy actress. Unfortunately their lives were cut short by awful, terrible men.
That's an interesting snapshot of the doomed four grand duchesses. Always makes you wonder what would have happened if they had survived their brutal end. Very eye-opening and detailed.
This was very moving. I just finished a book called “the Romanov sisters.” I found it very good insight plus research. It’s very tragic that the girls didn’t get to live out their lives. Beautiful video
Always will be remembered as the most perfect representation of the fairy princesses of a beautiful past time..in eternal memory,God bless their pure souls forever
Love this video of the Romanov girls. Rest In Peace!✝️💛🙏🏻
Fascinating and insightful video and account of Olga Tatiana Maria and Anastasia and their unique personalities described by a friend of Alexandra
Lovely family indeed. For me, all the children will live forever in wonderful photographs.
I hate that Maria was teased for her weight. She was so beautiful
All 4 Romanov girls were very beautiful. It is said that Olga was the most intelligent. RIP
Such great childhoods only to end with an unfateful death, such an scary tragedy, they didnt deserve such horendous deaths, may them rest in peace.
Rest in peace the Romanov family so so sad and tragic

I relate to Maria and love her the most.
Beautiful video! Have been looking forward to seeing it. Thank you for putting it together.
Terrific video. Lili Dehn's account of those times is among the best.Thank you!
Que hermosas chicas, me conmueve su historia, su vida fue tan corta.
Always very nice to see more insight into this tragic, Royal Family. Thank you.
I enjoy this clip!! It's interesting & real moving clip of the Romanov sisters, which is by Lili Dehn (who happens to be one of closest friends of Empress Alexandra, the mother of the Romanov sisters). These 4 sisters were the beauties of the Royal Romanov Family!!
Great Video. May they rest in peace.
Простите, Государь! 💔
RIP OTMA.
Tatiana, my beloved...
The world was deprived of knowing what might have become of the four Grand Duchesses, how their lives might have unfolded, future generations to come from their children. Fate had other plans for them, sadly. The Grand Duchesses and Tsarevich Alexi were completely innocent in the grand scheme of things and didn’t deserve the ending they received at the hands of Bolshevik Revolutionaries. R.I.P. 🙏
This is great... But I'd love a full length documentary it would be brilliant
Have you watched this?

Olga and Tatiana had good sunburns when they went to Romania. U can see in film. Their plan worked!
I LIKE MARIA THE MOST.
Otma forever 🙏
All four are beautiful in each . They suffered a unfair death and terrified.
Very well job, very well, keep going!
❤️🙏
😪💔🙏
I understand Olga not wanting to marry Carol of Romania. He turned out to be terrible and Olga so right through him. Even so, it would have been nice if one of them had married and gotten away before the murders

IF THEY HAD SURVIVED MARIA WOULD'VE BEEN MY WIFE.

Olga and Tatiana were not beautiful. But Maria and Anastasia were stunning.
Olga, in my eyes, is stunningly beautiful. Her eyes haunt me.
