I really respect you two, I also went to a rally and I'm feel the same as you both, my candidate must believe in God and not tell me I'm at the wrong rally either, thank you
@kathyfischer5983 We have probably done more BBQ restaurants in the last week or so, than ever. It seems like that's about all we've eaten.....lol. But we are glad you enjoy them, and we appreciate you watching.
I am voting for the same one you are. I saw him in person at a meeting a few years before he became president I was at and he supported. I hope both of you have a blessed week.
Yes, we enjoyed it. I was at the ACC Tournament there back in 2015, and wanted to go. But the line was out the door that day. I'm glad we finally got to try it. Thank you so much for watching and for commenting!
I went to our President’s rally in New Mexico last week and it was so exciting and sooo many people were there. A ton of supporters even in 🧢New Mexico!!! 🇺🇸 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
When I was living in Asheville and working for the railroad we ate at Stamey’s a LOT!! I think their regular sauce is a Lexington style vinegar sauce. It’s really delicious!!
@@GPgundude Yes, I did enjoy the food. I just knew they did their chicken in a tomato-based sauce, so I had to have them bring some of that out for the BBQ. I have never been able to get used to vinegar.
I was wanting to try stamey's myself. I'll have to try it soon. There is a new BBQ place in Lexington called Bridgett's Kitchen. It's my new favorite. You should try it
When I saw Stamey’s pop up, I had to watch! You know how we love the vinegar based sauce. Mmmm I thought you would just get the chicken. I was definitely surprised to see you get the pork because it has the vinegar bbq sauce on it. Thanks for sharing your experience.
@vafunseekers We actually watched your video before we went. I knew from that, that they had the vinegar sauce, but I also remembered that they brought you out that sauce for the chicken, and you said it would be good with the BBQ. So, I knew I would be able to get some of the real sauce....lol. I was at the ACC Tournament at this Coliseum back in 2015, and wanted to eat there then. But the line was so long, and then when I saw that y'all had gone, I knew I wanted to try it. The rally gave us the perfect opportunity to walk over there and eat. Thank y'all for watching!
@ We love trying out places like this. We really enjoyed Stamey’s when we went. Everything was wonderful from the food, old school feel, and such friendly service. We also thought the prices were reasonable too. Now you can say you’ve had the good nc bbq. lol 🤣🤣🤣
It was, except that he was supposed to speak at 7:30, and didn't arrive until 9. We got out of there really late. We actually were going to go to her rally, as well, if the schedule had worked out. I wanted to let them know Jesus is Lord. I wanted to experience being around the people at both rallies.
Vinegar is what makes great NC BBQ sauce. The thick stuff just covers up the pork flavor. I always enjoy your videos. God Bless you two. Stamey's is good BBQ. I'm looking forward to seeing you review Jim & Nick's when it opens in Hickory.
There is a definite divide between Eastern North Carolina and Western North Carolina styles. It's funny you should mention that new one in Hickory, as we just noticed it literally less than a week ago. And we said we definitely want to try it as soon as it opens.
Good review on this barbecue restaurant, I'm glad they give you a choice because we are not fond of vinegar-based barbecue sauce!! For a family-based and successful restaurant I would think that they would offer multiple flavors of barbecue sauce and put them on the table. Hope you enjoy your candidate rally!! By the way, Love Shawnasi 's shirt !! 😊
Thank you so much for your comment! We really appreciate it. And we fully agree with you, about the BBQ sauce. The sauce they used on the chicken was the good kind, and we enjoyed it. 😁😁
Ate there lot's when I lived in Greensboro. Cobbler looked great. Looking forward to your review on the new bbq restaurant opening in Hickory. God bless. I prefer the sweet sauce as well.
@patriciahurley1867 We actually just drove by that one the other night, and noticed it for the first time. We are definitely going to try when it opens. Review to come! Thanks for watching!
I have lived in Greensboro since 1966. In the 60's, the restaurant itself was very small more like a diner and you could pull into the drive-in parking lot and order over a carside speaker and black men would take your money and bring your order. I do not believe Stameys is a good as the 1960s and 1970s..but very few are these days. So glad you enjoyed your stay in GSO.
I am with you Derrick. I prefer the tomato based sweet BBQ sauce. I am not a fan of vinegar based BBQ sauce either. Thanks for this honest and excellent review. I have never been to this place before. A new place to try if I am ever in tbe Greensboro area.
@@kellittle7 We absolutely will speak up for what we believe is right, and we don't care who doesn't like it. Thank you so much for the encouraging comment and words of support. We appreciate it.
They were not dressed up in the suits and ties. They looked like local police officers, that may have been enlisted to help out. They had on the vests that said "Secret Service". I looked very closely. That is what the vests said. I don't know how it works, and I'm only assuming they enlist the help of local law enforcement. But I do know that's what was on the vests...lol.
@MAl-mi5xw No, it certainly isn't. When we have teams like California and Stanford belonging to a conference called the Atlantic Coast Conference, the good old days are over. It's become a joke.
Love, bbq. I would have never believed that I would see the topic of pro life would be in question it's sickening. It was used to be if you had a child it was a miracle now. It's an issue now or a decision. Sorry, I didn't want to go politics. Unfortunately, politics is the issue. You make me want some brisket. I would love to go to Texas to get brisket. I'm pro life. We have a lot of respect for what you stand for.
@Ouryellowlab2013 I really appreciate your kind words. I'm the kind of person that is going to say what I believe, especially when it's something I feel passionately about. This handful of people that have come against me on this video, and don't want me to talk about it, can just deal with it. I'm tired of seeing babies die, and it being called a "choice". I'm also sick of seeing our young ladies murdered by people who have no business in the country, and are not here legally. That's why I appreciate your comment. The "choice" is to be made before a life is created, not after. Once that baby's heart starts beating, it's a child, not a choice.
Exactly when the doctor tells you you're pregnant and says it all. People carry weapons or security systems to protect themselves, but they won't protect themselves from abortion. I have zero respect for people who hurt kids in anyway.
