Once my AirPods batteries started getting weak I just started using the EarPods again and haven’t looked back. They’re fine and I actually like the remote

@@jakemccoy the remote on the cable contains the microphone and that controls the volume and allows you to play/pause and switch songs.

I had my AirPods stolen a few months back and lost connection with them. Anyways since then I’ve needed new headphones and I remembered using normals wired earpods. I just looked on Amazon and they only cost like $18 or less! I’m probably gonna switch back to wired just because their more reliable. You don’t have to worry about them getting broken or anything, they’re cheap, and they work really well. Sometimes humans over simplify things and it ends up more complicated. I think I like the idea of just having a small pair of wired earbuds in my pocket that can be used at anytime without having to charge them.
I love wireless tech, but I'm not against wires at all. Just depends on the situation. I've got several headphones IEMs and earbuds with wires that I still regularly use to be fair.

I washed my earpods like 4 times and they still worked. I have fond memories of those things

@@rossrichards0n yes ive had AirPods 1 and 2s and beats wireless ones. the EarPods are louder get the 3.5m and a dongle so you can use it on your computer and MacBook the dongle is 9$ or get one of each pair there 20$ each.

Just compared the AirPods 3 and EarPods and I can’t hear a difference in sound quality which is sad because 170€ vs 18€ is a big difference

I have washed and dried many EarPods that were left in my jeans. EarPods are durable.
Durability they are $15 and airpods are $180... You could buy 12 pairs of earpods for 1 airpod and obviously they are way more portable and much better battery life bc it's endless
just imagine headphones from 2012 are still not just relevant but probably the best option in their price category, and also BiS for people who need headphones as a microphone for online school/work
I just got AirPods 3 they have better base and have a fuller sound to them compared to the EarPods but that’s because of the new fit they have, the Audio difference is not major the question is do you want wireless or wired🤷♂️
So you didn’t find any big difference in audio quality? I’m considering switching back to EarPods because il kinda like the “vintage” idea bud I’m scared to face a big downgrade in music quality
@@salvatorebruno3242 nothing major, like the AirPods 3s are extremely comfortable for my ears so that’s a plus😂they have way better bass so if you’re into rap and stuff, I can’t explain it but they also sound more full/whole compared to the EarPods

Initially I hated Earpods without even trying them because I thought they'd be similar to those Apple earbuds you'd use to get with ipods back in the days. I have a lot of in-ears and some goods headphones but end up going with the Earpods 90% of the time. The comfort and relative performance is just too good, and being cheap means I don't have to worry about them too much either. Just bought 3 pairs to keep around the house since I use one for gaming and prefer it over my Beyerdynamic DT990 Pro for that usecase.
Honestly earpods’ sound quality is great for the price. The bass, vocal and instruments sound great and better than some earphones out there which are expensive than earpods
Yup gen 2 fits SO well vs my pros, they’re my sleeping pair lol.
I use the wired as a musician but Don't recomend for workout or when moving or jumping , no Bluetooth is good for me as they all have latency the way I use my device , but for normal movies content , broadcast airpods are good sucks battery is Hard to replace but if your not willing to worry about wires you can obtain way more replacements and I have ways to make them wireless either way , but airpods are designed for better portability so keep them close by,, easy to get lost . Wired one can work faster w androids and older apple devices laptops. But it come down in my experience a free ad here for anyone trying to copy my text hehe (what ever suits your ears is best)
It depends on how well they fit your ears. For me they are awful for working out or doing anything with movement cause it usually results in them falling out.
Airpods low tweeter more bass in low middle sound in battery issue,,, that earpods or earphone thats impressive sound and smooth music on wireless earpods that's is my favorite
EarPods fit me perfectly as well. The AirPods 3 are too large and fall out, plus hurt my hearts after an hour or two. Meanwhile I can have the EarPods in all day.

im late, but wireless earbuds have pretty bad mics, if you want good quality you always have to wired. But if you have to have wireless, the Pros have the best, with 3rd gen in 2nd, and 2nd gen being 3rd.

I’ve only had EarPods break after literally throwing them into a pit of hell. Not really. Numerous wash and dryer with heat cycles, brackish water in order to save a boat, or the wires suddenly getting yanked. Two pairs have lasted me for geez? Nearly five years? I don’t have to worry about waning battery life, shorting out if unplugged, or major interference. Additionally when they are unusable or just get lost (never happens because their always in my pocket or plugged into my phone) they only cost 20 bucks to replace them vs. $60.
Bruh I treat them so delicately and I’m happy with 8 months. How did you go multiple YEARS with them??

The EarPods still slap I use them for cardio because they get sooooo loud and I can never turn them all the way up because they get so loud and great base. Very underrated
hey man, I have a pair of high quality headphones, and they work at the gym, but they are getting strained and I don't want to ruin them now. Do earpods really work for cardio/gym activities? Any damage problems with sweat or water?
@@luisenriquelander8044 I’ve washed them and still been able to use them when forgetting in pockets, so yea they are reliable. The thing is, you always have to make sure your phone is charged cause you can’t do both at the same time since they use the same port. Unlike on blue tooth I can have a 5% battery and still have a full headphone battery and continue, if ur phone is at 5% with EarPods, you’re phone will die quick. The benefit is that they are cheap and it’s easy to replace when they only 25-30$

I worked as a remote customer service agent from home and used Earpods for service calls and never had a problem.
i love the airpods, its not perfect but good enough. the only thing i hate is feels like earpods dont have a good isolation. maybe that is the reason airpods pro exist. earpods when call is top notch
I use both, i use airpods when it's fully charged or if my earpods are tangled up
And i use the Earpods when the airpods are charging
I also own all the AirPods that have come out and I have one to my daughter just stopped wearing a set, and always where my EarPods. Saves my battery and the sound is better. I listen to a lot of music. Better for calls too.
I wished you put together side by side for size comparison. The earpods only fits me cause I have small ear opening. Idk if the Airpods 3 can fit mine I need visual comparison

I tested airpods pro and earpods. It shocked me that earpods sound way better than airpods pro because the digital sound of airpods pro is a biggest letdown for me. Idk how to explain but the difference is quite noticeable
I have both & I will say I get tired of charching my Pros😮💨 BUT they’re my go to. I don’t use the EarPods (wired) unless my pros are dead plus it only takes around 15 mins for them to charge. Sound wise, they sound a smidge better but the bass is better on the EarPods; when I say the pros are a smidge better I mean a smidge! Don’t expect much! I also dont use the other 2 functions (noise canceling/transparency) because they don’t sound good to me & use more battery.
Lastly, CONNECTIVITY ISSUES🙄 it happens whenever it’s time to update my phone & sometimes it just randomly disconnects. Because I use headphones all day everyday 24/7, EarPods last me about 2 months before I have to get another pair🍅🍅🍅 $120/yr on EarPods
I think the Earpods are compatible with any ear because of the shape. the AirPods 3 is rounder while the Earpods have a different shape.

wires earbuds are fine but when i’m working out they get ripped out constantly bcs they hook on the weights etc. and when i bike and run they get ripped out, but if i’m just listening to music they are good.

I've personally switched back to the wired EarPods because of connectivity issues and sometimes the EarPods not charging properly. And I'm not going back to wireless EarPods again ..lol

To my ears these 3rd Gen Air pods are more comfortable compared to the newer Pro version with the soft gel tips. ruclips.net/user/postUgkxgl8SzyQoymMu-S3V55Dskg5QJ8xr1yCR That said, compared to the 3rd Gen, I notice these do not stay planted in the ear as well. One design issue I think, is you squeeze the stem and click it twice to advance your songs. On 3rd gen you tap the large speaker. The difference is by grabbing the stem each time, you tend to loosen the bud fit in your ear. Not always, but the bud falls out a few times while running. The old tap to change never had that problem for me. I would not have changed that tap function. That said, the newer Pro version sticks in the ear, almost airtight if you want that. I do not like that Airtight fit. So that's why I'd stay with this version as the best trade off of comfort, use, and overall feel.

I had my wired but with the 3mm headphone jack and they lasted me years using daily even exercising, hiking and never being too gentle to say the least so how are you breaking the cord? 🤣 Other brands have cheap cords but Apple is the 💣 when it comes to their cords and this with it being yanked out of my ears and dropping my phone multiple times. I was disappointed going to cheaper but highly rated wireless ear buds/pods but I digress. But now having a Galaxy S22 I had no choice but to upgrade because there is no 3MM headphone jack.. I really want the PRO'S. Anyway the Galaxy S22 speaker is better then my older Galaxy so my cheaper buds don't seem awful now but I need a little more volume/bass. Maxed out and it barely works for my needs. Well kinda. I'll probably bite the bullet on the Apple PRO'S wireless pods. BACK in my younger years I had to always have the newest and best technology but now a days to be honest times haven't advanced all that much. Upgrading every year leaves you disappointed, sometimes even 3-4 years. I so regret not switching to wireless sooner. Love it. But as far as phones go, yea I kinda do.
