We play as Michael in FNaF 4, due to the differences in how Michael and CC would react to certain characters, like the main four. CC would not fear them because they are his friends, and it would make sense how Michael would fear the nightmarish monsters in game.
The gas mentioned in the book proves that it turns the test subject into a younger version of themselves and manipulates what they see (William was punishing Michael by letting him experience the fear CC had to endure from the animatronics and from his constant bullying), making it logical that Michael would be the protagonist as we play through the nights with a small height and perspective of a child.
And the minigames, those might be flashbacks/real-life events that really happened, and the replicas built underground were used by William to replicate and study the fear CC did. The minigames are potentially just reminders of what Michael did to CC leading to his death.
More stuff proves that Michael was involved in the nightmare experiments. Remember the sketches in the security logbook? Who else would still remember what those nightmares looked like, but no other than Michael himself?
It also builds a motive for Michael to take a stand against his dad, due to the trauma that he put him through, and wanting to help those that suffered and endured so much, like CC and the missing children. He runs back to those restaurants just to try to make it up to his little brother by undoing his father’s wicked actions; it is the least that he can do (also that footprint could NOT be a springlock suit, it is raining, and the wearer would be dead after a single drop of water hits the suit).
The books are to be taken lightly and are there to bridge connections to the games, so I do not take the books too seriously with their characters. Otherwise, this chapter did clear a lot of stuff about the mess FNaF 4 is and how it does have an impact other than the minigames having lore. It is the beginning of William Afton's madness and the start of a lot of tragedies.

Dittophobia doesn't take place in 1993, it's actually 2003. it's said that CBEAR has been abandoned and the experiment has been automated for 10 years. This means William has been gone for ten years, which means the events of follow me has already happened. It was also mentioned Rory's family had made a website when he went missing, along with hiring investigators. Websites weren't a thing until the 90s.

I didn't know about the website. I made the video before the live read. Thanks for the info.
I guess that means follow me and sister location take place later than we thought.

Actually it's more likely that Rory was referring to the FNAF 4 HOUSE being abandoned. NOT the SL bunker. Which would be impossible for it to be abandoned at any point until after they become Ennard anyway. And we know that the SL animatronics are in Dittophobia. Also for the website detail, while it's stated that the police stopped their investigation 1 year in, the parents still fought to find their son. So it's not unreasonable to assume they made the website much later. I'm not trying to say the 2003 date is necessarily wrong, btw, I'm just trying to clear up some information.

    • @DJBurns-jq8mn
      @DJBurns-jq8mn Год назад +2

Yeah and that confirms that William was springlocked around the time Michael went to the bunker as William clued Michael in on what he was doing and since William finished his experiments and wanted to destroy the FNAF 1 animatronics he let Michael go down there.
So Michael wasn't scooped before FNAF 1, meaning he went there to help William at that time, likely to get him in without being noticed.
And also that Sister Location took place while the experiments were still going on which also implies that the Funtimes were also part of the experiments until they broke out. Plus Baby could of been the one to keep the experiments automated

The point that I NEVER saw anyone bring up - are the design inconsistencies with Funtime Foxy and Ballora in the tale, and in the games. Almost as if they were... Fixed, or patched up in the dittophobia. Why would the book describe everything so precisely up to a frucking blanket being accurate, but then completely miss the descriptions of Funtimes?
That could mean only 1 thing:
The book takes place AFTER Ennard escaped the SL Bunker.

  • @VandoX579
    @VandoX579 Год назад +22

I still think you play as Mike in FNaF 4 nights, because at the end of Sister Location Michael was scooped and he got memories of the kids that were in William's experiments, that's why Mike thinks he's a child even tho he's already adult during Sister Location, and that's also explains why Mike saw nightmare animatronics. So in my opinion FNaF 4 nights are just Mike's nightmares about experiments (even tho Mike wasn't a part of experiments he still has nightmares about them because Mike has remnant of these kids) and Nightmare wasn't a part of experiments and he's only in Mike's nightmares and after Mike beats him, he beats his nightmares.
Also Mike's nightmares are mix of William's experiments and Mike's memories, mainly from FNaF 1 because FNaF 4 nights gameplay is very simillar to FNaF 1
    Bonnie coming from the left
    Chica from the right
    Foxy has his own place
And Freddy is more aggresive in the dark
And of course FNaF 1 phonecall in the background
For me Mike during FNaF 2 and 1 helps William get remnant out of the animatronics and that's why he usues fake names and he's tampering with animatronics, but after he failed both times, William decided to do it himself, he destroyed FNaF 1 animatronics, get remnant out of them, gived that remnant to Funtime Animatronics, ask Mike to get to Sister Location to find Elizabeth, came back to FNaF 1 location (probably to seal Safe Room) and died in Springbonnie, and later Sister Location takes place, in my opinion Mike didn't knew animatronics were possesed during FNaF 2 and 1, and he discovered what William did to Elizabeth and that William killed the kids that later possesed animatronics during Sister location and because of that he wanted to find William, to kill him (that also explains why William is missing during Sister location, it's because he's already Springlocked), oh and about Odor, I think odor was because Mike was tampering with animatronics that had childs bodies inside and we know that animatronics weren't cleand, so they were probably smelly, also Tape Girl in Help Wanted kinda explained that in one of the tapes
So for me timeline looks like this
    1. FNaF 4 minigames
    2. FNaF 2
    3. FNaF 1
    4. FNaF SL
    5. FNaF 4 nights
    6. FNaF 3
    7. FNaF 6
    8. UCN
(I'm not going to include new games)

Is Still think that in FNaF 4 we play as Micheal because of one important character: Nightmare.
Nightmare’s presence is very important. Nightmare is Shadow Freddy, a Agony/Dark Remnant creature.
I think that in the FNaF 4 nights Shadow Freddy makes Mike live a recreation of the Nightmare experiments to feed of Micheal’s agony.
Then in the end, when Shadow Freddy sees that Mike is fighting against the nightmare it sends against Mike, Shadow Freddy goes against Mike in a 1v1 by taking the form of Nightmare, but it also gets defeated.

2:03 Isn't the voice on the tape a different one from Wade? According to Ryetoast, Rory contacts Wade through a walky-talky.
2:40 He knows he's older. That's part of the reason he chooses to go back - he missed out on ten years of his life, and would be even more of an outcast because he was so behind.
7:58 That seems needlessly convoluted, especially since Scott mentioned that each game after 4 (or maybe 3) was trying to clarify or fix something from the previous game.
8:50 The characterizations don't line up. Rory's dad is constantly working, emotionally distant, and _absent,_ while Yellow Man is a belligerent, abusive (presumed) drunk. Rory's mom is an agitated neat freak, while the TV viewer in Motorist is listless and apathetic. Dittophobia is _very_ exact with its descriptions of FNaF 4 and Sister Location, so why would it suddenly alter the characterizations of the parents in Midnight Motorist?

I beliver FNAF 4 is a punishment William Afton gave The Crying Child for being an abusive father. My theory is what William trapped CC in the rooms we see in FNAF SL, created the Nightmare Animatronics to torture CC until his birthday party and, after his son's death, William abandoned the Nightmare experiments to go and try another experiments, this time at Freddy Fazbear's Pizza (and that's the point where i beliver the MCI happens).
I beliver the new Tales From The Pizzaplex book is a parallel to Crying Child's story, trying to explain how'd FNAF 4 happened, the Nightmare Experiments, Sister Location and Midnight Motorist.
I beliver William started the Nightmare Experiments after killing his best friend's daughter (Charlotte Emily). Why do i think that? Well, we all know that Charlotte possessed Puppet after her death. So, what if William Afton, Charlotte's murderer, had notice Puppet's possession? It would explain why'd he create the Nightmare Animatronics. Afton wanted to know how could a simple robot come to life. He decided to test the experiments in one of his children. I agree with your idea what Afton wanted to know also how'd his best friend (Henry Emily) did bring his daughter back in the Novel Trilogy. I beliver it was Henry who created the Illusion Discs. After Henry left the company, he left behind all his creations (examples: Ella, Illusion Discs, Baby/Mimic (i reccomend you to watch FuhNaff's recent videos to know why i'm thinking Baby is Henry's creation) and more), making it all ends up in Afton's hands. He then started using it all for his future plans.
Another thing i wanted to say is that the fact that The Crying Child is FNAF 4 main nights protagonist is already CANON, 'cause it's literally in the Official Character Encyclopedia, but it doesn't fully annuly the fact about Michael Afton being FNAF 4 final nights protagonist. Michael dreams with the Nightmare Animatronics during FNAF 1 events.
I also don't really agree that the Orange Guy from Midnight Motorist is another person. I still beliver Midnight Motorist is about the Aftons.
Just those things. All the rest of the video is great and correct (i don't know if AgonyPlush can be correct, but... well, whatever. Forget the AgonyPlush part). Great video. Have a great afternoon.

But I thought the Fredbear plush was William talking to his son? In SL in that secret room, the Fredbear plush on the desk has a walkie talkie next to it. I thought this was a nod to confirm that William was keeping tabs on his son to make sure he was okay. Like you know, there was a walkie talkie stuffed inside crying child's toy bear so William could talk to him through it. (This theory is confirmed by the time William stuffed a child into Freddy Fazbear, confirming he stuffed a walkie talkie into his son's toy bear lol jk)

the story doesn't take place on 1993, actually, it takes place on *2005*
since when rory was kidnapped, his parents created a website + he doesn't know anything about fazbear entertainment characters, so he was kidnapped on mid 90s, 1995
putting follow me actually on 2005
and rory parents made a website right after he was kidnapped, websites became world wide on 1993
and afton mentions that walkie talkie should be traceble, since phones do that "now"
the rule for those kind of phones was created on 1999
    now, when CBEAR opens?
lets say 1997, since TFC also takes place on 1997
    so:
the experiments are created after cc's death on 1983
on 1992 fnaf 1 opens and closes on december 31th
3 years later on 1995, rory is kidnapped, 10 years later the story happens on 2005, 2 years after rory is kidnapped
CBEAR opens on 1997 and is abandoned on late 90s or early 2000s
on 2005 the story happens and CEAR revives, follow me happens aka MOLTENMCI, later sl
