just to debunk the second half of your points 3. no, the mangle was not DESIGNED to be taken apart, it’s the fact that they were slightly smaller (and possibly more fragile due to that) compared to the Toys to be more “kid friendly” as opposed to to their predecessor (un)Withered Foxy and because they were unthreatening and smaller, kids could easily just take it apart and the employees were so sick of repairing them that they advertised “The Mangle”. 4. Mangle’s original static got leaked and it has 0 words in it, it’s actually a really freaky audio. (also the Toys weren’t possessed..there was no personal grudge against the adults for not repairing mangle. It’s the agony of the DCI leaking into them and their recognition causing them to start seeing every adult as a threat.)
i would have thought for something so brutal the media, and people at large, would have been more specific about which one was the culprit - and Fazbear Entertainment quick to save face about it. "That ONE robot was bad - so we are removing it from the lineup! Everyone else is great!" I think Fredbear changed to Freddy in future locations for this reason, and that wasn't even the robots fault. Some kids were mishandling the robot, breaking the rules... rules that would then be applied to Freddy specifically: "don't touch him. We don't want a repeat." But a robot that went out and attacked all on its own? Thats some bad press, and weird that it didnt have the absolute shit personified out of it by people. Like sure, an entire line of robots may need to be scrapped, but humans LOVE turning something into a villain - even when its an ''inanimate'' object. So which animatronics have breaks in their branding lines...? Foxy? Mangle? The foxes have a patchy and strange timeline of existence... Apart from Freddy the other Toy animatronics are pretty big departures design-wise... but they keep the names, so I'm not so sure. But the problem of being VAGUE still remains. Why isn't "that nasty looking fox" or whatever the media attention? Why is it just ''A'' robot,...? Maybe nobody knows. Maybe a chunk was taken out of someone and nobody saw, no information leaked - other than it was a ROBOT who did it. But why leak that it was a robot? Thats pretty bad for your brand.... unless it being a human would have been worse. What if the bite of 87 was a coverup William Afton used for one of his own murders? He takes out someone and the body is actually found - so it is pinned on the robots. A re-brand is better than suspicion on himself. It could have even been an EXCUSE to rebrand, if rebranding was for whatever reason something he wanted to do - maybe changing locations or rework the robot designs to suit his needs more. I dont know. Im not well versed on FNAF lore, so these are just ideas :)
I'm pretty sure it was toy chica. I whole-heartedly believe that it was originally intended to be Mangle, but Scott had to back-track on dream theory and keep the hint he gave about Chica's beak relevant, which is why he seemed to double-down on the idea toy Chica did the bite in UCN. Scott has mentioned before that he tries to clarify vague aspects of his games in his sequels, and I think this was him just outright telling us "Toy Chica did it."

9:40 Whenever he is on-screen, his jaw is always open. When he runs, his jaw is never in a set position, akin to a hinge unable to shut. I think this is due to Foxy having a broken jaw, and this could mean either he DID or he DID NOT depending on when the break happened.
I’m torn between Foxy and Mangle. To me they’re the only ones who could realistically do it thanks to their jaws. Plus they’re both portrayed as unstable so I could see them trying to bite someone who had gotten too close. I know some people say Mangle because she plays a police audio of a child who had been bitten in the head. But the toy animatronics had built in scanners, so she could just be replaying the audio cause she either did it or was there when it happened.
All but one of her ucn voicelines (technically two if you count the “let’s go somewhere private” line) are not at all meant to be taken seriously and are jokes about parts of the fnaf franchise (and by extension it’s fanbase) that Scott isn’t proud of, the one (technically two) voiceline(s) could easily be a “obvious theory bait” type of joke about how clingy the fanbase is to having to connect everything to everything (mr hippo also has a “long story” about this same fact, explicitly stating that “sometimes a story is just a story” and “I had a friend who did that once, [referring to thinking too deeply about a story’s meaning] it drove him insane”) so who’s to say that toy chica’s “where’s my beak” line is even meant to be taken in any serious/lore-relevant way. Now onto the “it’s physically impossible for it to even happen” reason, toy chica does have something over the other “not the fox” animatronics that *could* make her a more likely candidate for the biter, and it’s her removable beak. While the thin metal endo teeth do look more capable of removing someone’s frontal lobe than the plastic mouths do, that’s only the case if the endo skeleton teeth can even reach the forehead (never mind the whole frontal lobe) which is a problem since the rest of toy chicas headpiece is in the way (and it’s not like she could jimmy the headpiece to go further towards the endo skeleton head to let the teeth stick out, these coustumes stay fixed in place to avoid breaking guest immersion and to not accidentally set off the “no costumeless endo skeleton rule” every twenty minutes) Also to address it now, while it is highly unlikely that the removable beak is an intentional design choice since the animatronic itself can also remove the beak and is the only one shown to remove the beak, it’s not evidence that she bit the victim and broke her beak in the process since literally everything in fnaf 2 suggests that the gameplay takes place before the bite yet toy chica removes her beak after leaving the show stage on every night, not just on the custom night that likely takes place the night of the “bite of 87” date. Honestly I can’t believe toy chica is even a candete for the bite after all of the evidence I have come across and logical deductions I have made about the UCN voicelines. Although at this point who even cares, so if you still think toy chica would be the “coolest” bite of 87 culprit then by all means continue to do so, however I’m just pointing out the “why this interpretation shouldn’t be taken as a plausible interpretation” stuff so that misinformation about “I fInAlY sOlVeD tEh FuNi BiTe Of FnAf” doesn’t spread.

I honestly believe one of the Toy Animatronics did it. That would explain why the Toy Animatronics are scrapped. Or it could've been Freddy since that would explain the Hand Print on Freddy's face. That's just my thoughts.
Freddy doing because of the hand print dosen't make sence. Fnaf 1 freddy is supposed to be a restored withered freddy, how would the hand prints still be there if he was restored? They would have been cleaned of. Also dosen't the bite take place during the day shift? I don't see him randomly waking up and stumbling out of the parts and service room in front of everyone.
I have to go with either withered Foxy or fnaf 1 Foxy, Fnaf 1 was going to be Scott's last game so why would he make a mystery that required answers from games he didn't even think about making? Foxy's out of order and it'd explain why since servo's would probably break down from the structure of a skull. With his look it would be explained by the technicians themselves, look how they tore up the withereds and look at Foxy, see a resemblance? withered Foxy was probably in use in 1987 and it was probably the cause of the toy animatronics being made, they're higher tech and wouldn't hurt someone unless they were a criminal.
It could NOT have been Foxy, since he would have been deactivated in Parts & Services at the time. Plus, why would they scrap the Toy Animatronics if it was one of the OLDER MODELS that are supposed to be deactivated in the back room ANYWAYS.

If you ACTUALLY knew the FNaF Lore, you'd know that the Bite of '87 happened sometime AFTER the withereds were scrapped. Also keep in mind that the withereds aren't the same ones from FNaF 1, but were presumably used alongside Fredbear and Spring Bonnie in Fredbear's Family Diner. Therefore it COULD NOT have been ANY of the withered animatronics.

I have a couple clues as to who did the bite of 87. Okay a few of the suspect candidates are: Freddy Foxy And fredbear. My first clue is for Foxy, Why foxy is the most suspected one of the candidates is because I've been thinking; why is foxy not in security breach? Where did he go? And why is Roxanne wolf in the favor spot of foxy? It doesn't make sense for a popular character to up and vanish with no information as to where or what happened to him. I'm thinking the reason foxy is absent because two things: one he is the cause of the bite and because he is broken and out of order in fnaf 1 he did the bite of 87, although the fnaf 2 and fnaf 1 location are set in two different air dates between 1987 and 1993. If foxy did the bite and he is the candidate for the incident that occurred this means fazbear entertainment thought nah let's not use foxy anymore let's make a new character, a wolf. Foxy has his own theme area in the pizzaplex but he's not in the game. I'm assuming they were planning to put foxy in kids cove but they stopped at last minute and then came up with Roxanne as a replacement for foxy because foxy did the bite and they didn't want their past tragedies to come back and bite them in the butt with this location so they got rid of foxy and replaced him with Roxanne wolf, they provide information what happened to Bonnie but they say nothing about foxy why he vanished from the cast tire. And it's because he was the suspect candidate for the bite. Atleast one of them as a possibility. Freddy is another candidate who could have did the bite of 87, Freddy fazbear himself is the main leader of the whole entire branch and its not too unusual he wouldn't do it right? Wrong. He is more like to do it. In an analysis video from another youtubers video who gave a diagram photo example of the comparisons between foxys jaws vs Freddy's jaws biting the victims head the jaws of foxy she said it wouldn't be able to fit or crush the head because it would be all over the victims face, with Freddy its a 100% 50/50 he has no problem getting his jaws stuck he can take a bite out of that lobe like a slice of piece of cake. Here's a problem; if Freddy is responsible for the bite then the company would be in deep crap because their face of their franchise brand is the face of a killing machine. And they would have to scramble their plans to redesign and re envelope the company because Freddy Fazbear is not a safe face to put on billboards and advertisements for entertainment and joy anymore after the bite. This is one of the possibilities and my last candidate is going to blow your mind. The last candidate is Fredbear. This clue is going to make you think otherwise. Fredbears family diner is open in 1983 but if the younger brother had his birthday in the real location in 1983, then it would be in the news. You would hear the phone guy mention the bite of 83 but what if? I'm about to tell you is not the case. Fredbear is the cause of the bite of 87 and the bite of 83 does not exist because the correct time the bite takes place is not 1983 but in 1987 and the location it happens is not at fredbears family diner or Freddy fazbears pizza really at all but in an interpretation simulation of it in the CBPW bunker facility because circus baby's pizza world is running by this point during after the missing children incident and around the same time as fnaf 2 is open. What if? Elizabeth and Evan both died the same day they were at these locations and it would make sense. She died to baby the same day her brothers birthday fell on and who's there with Evan in the bunker facility? Michael. So fredbear did the bite of 87 and after William finds out he lost both of his kids he goes crazy and loses weight he attacks and murders more victims and as cbpw closes and fnaf 2 location has a sentence to close the location because the investigations and the mysterious incidents that been occurring a mis fortune event occurs from one of the toys by accident and then fnaf 2 closes but the real bite of 87 happened in the cbpw bunker but the accident that occurred at a real Freddy's establishment was just a freak accident by mistake but Evans wasn't. Because it was on purpose but nobody cared or heard because it was in the bunker. And just because a TV cartoon that says it's labeled 1983 means it's set in 1983 doesn't mean it is set in 1983. This cartoon show could be old re runs on tape or live TV and in the present the bite of 87 took place in the cbpw bunker. Why else would there be separate rooms in the bunker? Because afton was keeping his son from going near the animatronics. Like his sister who insisted to go see circus baby but in return was killed by it. I don't think or really believe Evans birthday was in 1983 at fredbears family diner. Because if that location has been closed for years it's because of the murders at that location. Not because of the bite. It makes more sense for the bite to be in 1987 at the cbpw bunker than at fredbears diner. But because there was also a fredbear and spring Bonnie there in bunker, Evan was mistaken for the simulation being the 'Real' fredbears location outside the bunker. When it wasn't. And so the real bite was covered up but the freak accident at the real Freddy's establishment was just a cheap coincidence flaw mistake said on the news to ruin the company's reputation but in reality terms Evan afton did die just not seen or heard. Because William covered it up. Almost like he planned and intended for him to die. So the real bite of 87 remains secretly anonymous and unknown beneath tarp. In the bunker facility. It's not a confirmed 100% my clue is true but it's my clue possibility this candidate may be the case that caused the incident. Bonus candidate, Another candidate I could think of is the scariest animatronic Scott considers and that's Bonnie. And I know why, what makes a rabbit go nuts? A vegetable. And what vegetable makes a crunching sound when you bite it? A carrot. And if Bonnie did do the bite of 87 it's likely he thought the guard was purple guy and saw his head as a carrot and so he took a bite out of it thinking it was a carrot. Makes sense. It's not confirmed official but I'm assuming it is Bonnie. What does everyone think? Do you think its foxy? Or Freddy? Or fredbear? Or Bonnie. I wanna know what you have to say about my clues. And possibilities for the candidates I've picked.

I personally think withered freddy caused the bite now some of y’all might be saying why would they remodel the classic character if they bit a kid easy since the toys are being scrapped for being too glitchy and busted they realized that when they put the pieces from the originals into the toys they were easier to fix up so they had two options they could either just not use any character and be closed forever or put the original parts back into the old characters remodel their outer shells to not resemble the characters that were involved with the incident and hire more security to watch over them during the day in a new location they chose the second option but that’s my theory
If you look at toy chicas mouth there are no sharp teeth. If you look at her Endo mouth yes there a sharp teeth but he mouth area doesn’t look that big to put a child’s head in heck an adult.
Since we never had a proper visualization of how that bite happened i always ignored it tbh and focus only on 83 one. Scott knows his stuff and we wouldve had a minigame seeing that bite, all ik about it is that the previous guard in fnaf 2 before michael came in was bitten but nothing else. I whole-heartedly believe that it was originally intended to be Mangle, but Scott had to back-track on dream theory and keep the hint he gave about Chica's beak relevant, which is why he seemed to double-down on the idea toy Chica did the bite in UCN. Scott has mentioned before that he tries to clarify vague aspects of his games in his sequels, and I think this was him just outright telling us "Toy Chica did it."

It’s so obvious that it’s Mangle if you listen to Mangles strange radio noises you can hear a conversation probably right after she bit off someone’s frontal lobe. You hear police aswell.

9:40 Whenever he is on-screen, his jaw is always open. When he runs, his jaw is never in a set position, akin to a hinge unable to shut. I think this is due to Foxy having a broken jaw, and this could mean either he DID or he DID NOT depending on when the break happened.

I’m torn between Foxy and Mangle. To me they’re the only ones who could realistically do it thanks to their jaws. Plus they’re both portrayed as unstable so I could see them trying to bite someone who had gotten too close. I know some people say Mangle because she plays a police audio of a child who had been bitten in the head. But the toy animatronics had built in scanners, so she could just be replaying the audio cause she either did it or was there when it happened.
In a alternate universe (the books) it was shown to believe that Toy Bonnie was actually the cause of the bite.

I have to go with Toy Chica, the voice lines in UCN just seem to be explicitly telling us, "hey its her" also her being able to remove her beak.
All but one of her ucn voicelines (technically two if you count the “let’s go somewhere private” line) are not at all meant to be taken seriously and are jokes about parts of the fnaf franchise (and by extension it’s fanbase) that Scott isn’t proud of, the one (technically two) voiceline(s) could easily be a “obvious theory bait” type of joke about how clingy the fanbase is to having to connect everything to everything (mr hippo also has a “long story” about this same fact, explicitly stating that “sometimes a story is just a story” and “I had a friend who did that once, [referring to thinking too deeply about a story’s meaning] it drove him insane”) so who’s to say that toy chica’s “where’s my beak” line is even meant to be taken in any serious/lore-relevant way.
Now onto the “it’s physically impossible for it to even happen” reason, toy chica does have something over the other “not the fox” animatronics that *could* make her a more likely candidate for the biter, and it’s her removable beak. While the thin metal endo teeth do look more capable of removing someone’s frontal lobe than the plastic mouths do, that’s only the case if the endo skeleton teeth can even reach the forehead (never mind the whole frontal lobe) which is a problem since the rest of toy chicas headpiece is in the way (and it’s not like she could jimmy the headpiece to go further towards the endo skeleton head to let the teeth stick out, these coustumes stay fixed in place to avoid breaking guest immersion and to not accidentally set off the “no costumeless endo skeleton rule” every twenty minutes)
Also to address it now, while it is highly unlikely that the removable beak is an intentional design choice since the animatronic itself can also remove the beak and is the only one shown to remove the beak, it’s not evidence that she bit the victim and broke her beak in the process since literally everything in fnaf 2 suggests that the gameplay takes place before the bite yet toy chica removes her beak after leaving the show stage on every night, not just on the custom night that likely takes place the night of the “bite of 87” date.
Honestly I can’t believe toy chica is even a candete for the bite after all of the evidence I have come across and logical deductions I have made about the UCN voicelines. Although at this point who even cares, so if you still think toy chica would be the “coolest” bite of 87 culprit then by all means continue to do so, however I’m just pointing out the “why this interpretation shouldn’t be taken as a plausible interpretation” stuff so that misinformation about “I fInAlY sOlVeD tEh FuNi BiTe Of FnAf” doesn’t spread.

Freddy doing because of the hand print dosen't make sence. Fnaf 1 freddy is supposed to be a restored withered freddy, how would the hand prints still be there if he was restored? They would have been cleaned of. Also dosen't the bite take place during the day shift? I don't see him randomly waking up and stumbling out of the parts and service room in front of everyone.

I have to go with either withered Foxy or fnaf 1 Foxy, Fnaf 1 was going to be Scott's last game so why would he make a mystery that required answers from games he didn't even think about making? Foxy's out of order and it'd explain why since servo's would probably break down from the structure of a skull. With his look it would be explained by the technicians themselves, look how they tore up the withereds and look at Foxy, see a resemblance? withered Foxy was probably in use in 1987 and it was probably the cause of the toy animatronics being made, they're higher tech and wouldn't hurt someone unless they were a criminal.
It could NOT have been Foxy, since he would have been deactivated in Parts & Services at the time. Plus, why would they scrap the Toy Animatronics if it was one of the OLDER MODELS that are supposed to be deactivated in the back room ANYWAYS.

If you ACTUALLY knew the FNaF Lore, you'd know that the Bite of '87 happened sometime AFTER the withereds were scrapped.
Also keep in mind that the withereds aren't the same ones from FNaF 1, but were presumably used alongside Fredbear and Spring Bonnie in Fredbear's Family Diner.
Therefore it COULD NOT have been ANY of the withered animatronics.
@@sunkfnf2406 Fnaf 2 takes place in November 1987, Fazbear Entertainment is kind of known to work fast, especially since the fnaf 2 location closed in November, keep in mind that Fredbear's was the location after this, giving plenty of time for the bite to happen. Scott also officially said himself before releasing fnaf 6 that there was only 1 retcon in the whole series. The bite might've been what he was talking about
And keep in mind that that there's 2 bites, Knowing Scott he probably just forgot about the one in 87 because he haven't gotten ANY information about it, unlike the bite of 83

And for mangle a lot of people have said this and sorry if I'm beating the dead horse (or is a horse nvm) Just because mangle was dismantled she/he was still connected enough and probably still had they're programing intact so when she did it, who is to say the rest wouldn't and honestly she probably had the most motivated, whoever is possessing them died but the staff don't have the motivation to repair them and give them a proper vessel

I have a couple clues as to who did the bite of 87.
Okay a few of the suspect candidates are:
Freddy
Foxy
And fredbear.
My first clue is for Foxy,
Why foxy is the most suspected one of the candidates is because I've been thinking; why is foxy not in security breach? Where did he go? And why is Roxanne wolf in the favor spot of foxy? It doesn't make sense for a popular character to up and vanish with no information as to where or what happened to him. I'm thinking the reason foxy is absent because two things: one he is the cause of the bite and because he is broken and out of order in fnaf 1 he did the bite of 87, although the fnaf 2 and fnaf 1 location are set in two different air dates between 1987 and 1993. If foxy did the bite and he is the candidate for the incident that occurred this means fazbear entertainment thought nah let's not use foxy anymore let's make a new character, a wolf. Foxy has his own theme area in the pizzaplex but he's not in the game. I'm assuming they were planning to put foxy in kids cove but they stopped at last minute and then came up with Roxanne as a replacement for foxy because foxy did the bite and they didn't want their past tragedies to come back and bite them in the butt with this location so they got rid of foxy and replaced him with Roxanne wolf, they provide information what happened to Bonnie but they say nothing about foxy why he vanished from the cast tire. And it's because he was the suspect candidate for the bite. Atleast one of them as a possibility.
Freddy is another candidate who could have did the bite of 87,
Freddy fazbear himself is the main leader of the whole entire branch and its not too unusual he wouldn't do it right? Wrong. He is more like to do it. In an analysis video from another youtubers video who gave a diagram photo example of the comparisons between foxys jaws vs Freddy's jaws biting the victims head the jaws of foxy she said it wouldn't be able to fit or crush the head because it would be all over the victims face, with Freddy its a 100% 50/50 he has no problem getting his jaws stuck he can take a bite out of that lobe like a slice of piece of cake. Here's a problem; if Freddy is responsible for the bite then the company would be in deep crap because their face of their franchise brand is the face of a killing machine. And they would have to scramble their plans to redesign and re envelope the company because Freddy Fazbear is not a safe face to put on billboards and advertisements for entertainment and joy anymore after the bite. This is one of the possibilities and my last candidate is going to blow your mind.
The last candidate is Fredbear.
This clue is going to make you think otherwise. Alright I'm going to say this because I may think it could be true but it might not be. Fredbears family diner is open in 1983 but if the younger brother had his birthday in the real location in 1983, then it would be in the news. You would hear the phone guy mention the bite of 83 but what if? I'm about to tell you is not the case. What if fredbears and the first Freddy fazbears were the same establishment and it would make sense. What if fredbears is not just one location but the same location as the first Freddy's is. What if? Fredbear is the cause of the bite of 87 and the bite of 83 does not exist because the correct time the bite takes place is not 1983 but in 1987 and the location it happens is not at fredbears family diner or Freddy fazbears pizza really at all but in an interpretation simulation of it in the CBPW bunker facility because circus baby's pizza world is running by this point during after the missing children incident and around the same time as fnaf 2 is open. What if? Elizabeth and Evan both died the same day they were at these locations and it would make sense. She died to baby the same day her brothers birthday fell on and who's there with Evan in the bunker facility? Michael. So fredbear did the bite of 87 and after William finds out he lost both of his kids he goes crazy and loses weight he attacks and murders more victims and as cbpw closes and fnaf 2 location has a sentence to close the location because the investigations and the mysterious incidents that been occurring a mis fortune event occurs from one of the toys by accident and then fnaf 2 closes but the real bite of 87 happened in the cbpw bunker but the accident that occurred at a real Freddy's establishment was just a freak accident by mistake but Evans wasn't. Because it was on purpose but nobody cared or heard because it was in the bunker. And just because a TV cartoon that says it's labeled 1983 means it's set in 1983 doesn't mean it is set in 1983. This cartoon show could be old re runs on tape or live TV and in the present the bite of 87 took place in the cbpw bunker. Why else would there be separate rooms in the bunker? Because afton was keeping his son from going near the animatronics. Like his sister who insisted to go see circus baby but in return was killed by it. I don't think or really believe Evans birthday was in 1983 at fredbears family diner. Because if that location has been closed for years it's because of the murders at that location. Not because of the bite. It makes more sense for the bite to be in 1987 at the cbpw bunker than at fredbears diner. But because there was also a fredbear and spring Bonnie there in bunker, Evan was mistaken for the simulation being the 'Real' fredbears location outside the bunker. When it wasn't. And so the real bite was covered up but the freak accident at the real Freddy's establishment was just a cheap coincidence flaw mistake said on the news to ruin the company's reputation but in reality terms Evan afton did die just not seen or heard. Because William covered it up. Almost like he planned and intended for him to die. So the real bite of 87 remains secretly anonymous and unknown beneath tarp. In the bunker facility.
It's not a confirmed 100% my clue is true but it's my clue possibility this candidate may be the case that caused the incident.
Bonus candidate,
Another candidate I could think of is the scariest animatronic Scott considers and that's Bonnie. And I know why, what makes a rabbit go nuts? A vegetable. And what vegetable makes a crunching sound when you bite it? A carrot. And if Bonnie did do the bite of 87 it's likely he thought the guard was purple guy and saw his head as a carrot and so he took a bite out of it thinking it was a carrot.
Makes sense. It's not confirmed official but I'm assuming it is Bonnie.

Since we never had a proper visualization of how that bite happened i always ignored it tbh and focus only on 83 one. Scott knows his stuff and we wouldve had a minigame seeing that bite, all ik about it is that the previous guard in fnaf 2 before michael came in was bitten but nothing else.
