That means they're not worth wasting your resources on crafting them. Just buy or loot them. The chimera mods are another story, because they are worth crafting. You can craft only one using the chimera core you loot from Phantom Liberty DLC. And place the crafted chimera mod on your main weapon.
Helped me so much choom. I was REALLY confused when i crafted a mid range scope and couldn't equip it to my revolver. And the mod trashing for melee i didn't know that crucial detail. Well I'm about to get a ton of engineering experience....

Like rdr2 which i calll rockstar games aka patch happy adams i so fn sick if these stupid updates why i play rdr2 in 1.00 till ch4 then after i get arthur everything and leave john tons if money at the pig farmers after i getvrobbed. Then kill them so they dont spend it. Cuz u cant get the best weapins till ch4 anyway m4445. Rapid fire pistol. Im not having arthur do every damn challenge so i (i get everything free marston) can come along buy the 99 bag and pick up flowers bad enough he gets the best outfit in game the nice dark jean ramch pants and black vest eventhough theres z cheat every outfit. Sorry i looked up word every in dictionary it says every. The point if obatating or having all of something so if i use open every outfit a I shoukd in favt get every outfit anyway. I be d n mad at the players i swear there worse than girls. Oh the guns are to bad ass. So ok instead of using ur head and making the game more harder they screw us all. Lizzie,finir ,my fav trauma team red dian smg with fire or neon dian or kappa or protype anyone rember when cy erpu k first came out before all the girls started crying the protype was so awsome you coukd walk bye traffic and simply tap once as u walked not ran blowing up every car at light fn awsome now 12 clips later it blows up lizzie. Was out if this world. So awsome in fact i made sure vefore hiest i had a sandvistian , thermal gloves and the hoover jump which they took to my favirite jump you know how awsome it be to have that hoover jump on with dash last i che ked games were to be played for enjoyment you coukd put urself in godmode on console not just pc. Anyway after hiest ide run buy my apartment in downtown so i could smoke. And tgen get my lizzie and open rollercoaster and grab my hot female v no dike look her legd leather pants then go to fingers and get my hoover. This update now sucks all fire and smart guns ruined. All gidmode and glit hes ruined even took out the cradtibg of that one thing that made us a ton of money to craft over and over thats not a glit h i bought craft it sold it and made out just like in life but they still fucked us. I rember on my ps4 (like i siad ahould always be. My gurriallia arms had a spot for rocket laucher and blades should come with mono wire. Tgey shoukdnt be seprate. But theyvtook that away to and i want happier endings judy shouldnt leave me if i tell her im dying and def f up that everyone leaves if u choose to go into a coma. Patches they keep implementing are the main reason I moved to another game. To me Cyberpunk last patch is 2.0. that's the major patch that balanced everything. But then, instead of fixing glitches and bugs, they keep changing the stats of weapons, nerfing stuff, changing some rules... etc on every patch. I made a tutorial for patch 2.0 and there are changes in patch 2.1! Unbelievable! I feel like, someone needs to wake them up telling them it's an offline game not an mmo game. Wtf is CDPR doing? They shouldn't change stats since the release of any offline game. This isn't an online game. After these shitty patches every time, I decided to move to the next game to play. They are now in this state where they do exactly like Rockstar with GTA V, which is milking the game. I want the gaming industry to go back to its origins. They keep doing foolish things that have a negative impact on their AAA games. Do you know what I miss? The times when you pay for the game and you get the complete game. No DLCs, no editions, no skins, no patches... etc, you get the game for the price and that's it and that was wonderful.

No, You can replace the mod on any weapon regardless of its tier. Note that: Mods crafted by Chimera items can be replaced without getting destroyed in the process.

So screw their updates, I had enough with them updating the game over and over and over, it's supposed to be an offline story game, not an mmo game. Attatchments can make weapons better than legendaries. You essentially make your own custom Iconic. “V’s [insert name here]”. Great combo is Gaki and Wallpuncher on the tech sniper. Permanent 100% charge. OP bolts. - add some perks and cyberware such as the Microgenerator and it’s even stronger. Edit: it’s a Shame it doesn’t get the attention it deserves. In builds particularly.
That's because most of the players don't know how rich in content this game is. That's too much info for a story game. I usually make a tutorial video for each game, but this game needs a lot.
There are some non-iconic weapons that have no mod slots. I really don't get why. It's a smart assault rifle.

no, unfortunately you cannot unequip mods anymore :(
That was already the case with all other normal mods. After the update even iconic mods are the same now.

Lol, at least it's still better than playing till almost the endgame to reach level 60 to go with a solid skill build or a decent set of cyberware. XD

No, You can replace the mod on any weapon regardless of its tier.
Note that:
Mods crafted by Chimera items can be replaced without getting destroyed in the process.

Do mods stack?🤔 Like pyro mods for guns. If I use two mods in one gun, do they double the chances of burn effect?
Generally, the stats stack.
If the game let you to use a mod on the same weapon twice, the stats will stack for sure.
