Silent Hiking the Alice Toxaway Loop - Sawtooth Wilderness

- Beautiful hike into and back out of Alice Lake via the Toxaway Loop in the Sawtooth Wilderness in Idaho. This clockwise route, as it is often referred to, was actually not that hard, probably because of all the skiing I did this winter season (63 days at 63, unless you live a sea level...then maybe it's not so easy.) Stunning views, rock scrambles, an icy climb over the pass, a couple hairy moments, plenty of water crossings, amazing sunrises and sunsets, let's not forget the hail, and another wonderful trip checked off the bucket list is now done. Any suggestions of where I might want to head to next?
Until next time, take care & I'll,
See Ya on the Trail!

Thank you.
This is such a beautiful area. I was hoping to get up there this year.
Very Nice!
Thanks for that, the area really is stunning! And at 20'ish 'HARD' miles is worth every step. Hope you get to go there...my advice is contrary to everyone else's, but go clockwise.
Beautiful video. Thanks for sharing. subd & 👍10
More to come. Stay tuned.
Rad man this is good stuff!!! Just got my channel going I was in the sawtooths last June also
The Sawtooth’s are amazing aren’t they. Sad news this year with the fire that’s going on. Congrats on starting your channel.
We are getting ready to do the 18 mile hike in one day on August 3 rd. When did you do this beautiful hike?
It is a magnificent hike. Kudos to you for doing it in a day! I was there July 1-3, 2024. Check the news as I heard thunderstorms (they think) started a fire and last I heard it was not contained yet. Good luck!
@@RodneyLoughJrthank you for the heads up. We are checking now. 😊.
