Why would they? You're in public. No expectation of privacy in public. You're being filmed everywhere you go. Even security camera footage can end up online. Of course specific gyms can and do ban the use of recording, but just because a few bad apples are out there doesn't mean there should be a global ban.

There are various reasons why they don't ban filming in gyms...but it being "public" isn't the only reason why like it's out of the gym's hands. lol

Yeah they are a totally different kind of people here in America. The black immigrants are awesome most of the time and separate themselves from black Americans. They want to get educated and be successful in life and most of them do. Statistically they are more successful than white Americans.

I’m such a huge fan of what he does. I’m a bit of an agoraphobe, but he makes me feel like I could go to an actual gym with real equipment and not be the butt of the joke to everyone there.

This woman is why I’ll be going to a gym in a hospital. I’m disabled both physically and mentally and I’m scared of being filmed and mocked in a regular gym.
Most people aren’t like her. I’ve found the gym community to be one of the more welcoming I’ve approached, considering a lot of the “gym bros” were teenagers who were fat and bullied for it who got sick of it and fell in love with working out so they empathise with the mindset you have. I assure you most people fall on the joey swole side of mentality rather than this horrible lady, but whatever makes you feel comfortable in bettering yourself :)
I’m 55 year guy carrying 50 extra pounds and not disabled, and I’m scared to go to the gym for fear of being mocked. I can’t imagine what it’s like for you. There’s way too many videos out there that sure do make it seem like gyms are full of judgemental, ignorant people.
@@canadablake Even if you’re scared I’d recommend heading to one and talking to the staff there, most I’ve found are pretty genuinely kind with that sorta thing since everyone knows it’s daunting at first

In fact, I suspect he caters his videos to keep it pretty fair, holding off on some videos or shifting things around to keep that balance.
My fav videos are his comedy sketches, his bathroom sketches, or the times he explains workouts.

I have a home gym and it’s awesome. Our main set was $3,000 but we were able to make payments and then we paid it off early. We also have a hip thruster machine which is awesome and pretty affordable, we also got that on a payment plan. We have a treadmill which was $2,000 but we bought it in the store but I’m sure you can make payment plans as well. It is very doable with payment plans these days
I'm lucky enough to have a home gym. It used to be a barn but we use it as a gym now... My brother and dad have spent countless years and thousands of dollars building it up. My husband has even added to it now. I'm so glad I don't have to deal with the gym BS. I get to just lift in peace... Except for when my toddler decides he wants to join me on the treadmill or try to mimic me deadlifting.
Both men and women deal with the bullying at gyms and a lot won't even step foot in one, for fear they will end up as a joke on the internet. I'm thankful I was in the gym before the cell phone issues but I still had a bunch of men stand next to me and tell me how fat I was. I commend you for taking it into your own hands and making your own gym. Good luck with your journey ❤

This is not a petty issue. A trainer engaging in behavior that would make others who might not be in good shape afraid to step foot in a gym because they might be ridiculed like this? Who needs to go to a gym the most but someone who is not in good shape, who may not be familiar with the equipment and might make mistakes? And who has she discouraged but those people? Who would you expect to be responsible for encouraging and helping those who might not be getting it right, but the trainers and regular customers. If she was a decent person, she could have approached him and kindly said, "Excuse me, I think it's great that you are taking steps to improve your physical fitness, and you're doing great. I'm a trainer, and would you mind if i gave you a little pointer that might make this exercise more effective?" If gyms had people who behaved like that, how much more repeat customers would they have, instead of being packed with new customers in January who get discouraged and drop out after a couple weeks. Good job, Ms influencer. You've really boosted your industry. I think i'll do my workouts at home.

So, the woman actually suddenly claimed that the man she was making fun of threatened her in the gym first, and that the group of black men around her were there to protect her from him, which was immediately proven false from 24-hour Fitness. Yes, they did ban her permanently from all locations. So she was completely shut down in all ways from claiming oppression. She was the oppressor in all ways and has zero accountability.

I'm a girl and I'm so glad that no one in my gym are doing this, like filming and stuff, everyone is helping each other, and when some people need help like for exemple, it's the first time they put more weight to lift, they ask if someone can help just in case but when this happens everybody look like hawks, just in case of an emergency (sometimes the person that helps can't lift alone the weight so everybody comes to help), and we also have others that when they see you are doing a wrong move while doing a exercise, they come to you polity and show you how to do it, so you don't get injured and I appreciate that a lot, everybody is in their own mind and doesn't care what gender/ nationality you are, they are just minding their own business while exercising but when needed they are the first to help!

If that lady was a true personal trainer who uplifts others (or whatever she has on her social media) she would have spoken to the gentleman doing the exercise, learned that it is a legitimate exercise and filmed him (with his permission of course) doing and explaining it to her viewers. I used to weigh over 530 lbs, and now im 199lbs, and I'm more self-conscious now more than ever because of the loose skin. I am terrified about being filmed or whatever just to be poked fun of.

That's so great for her that she has a gym where every piece of equipment she needs is available for her use right away and doesn't ever have to sometimes improvise to get what she needs in a crowded ass gym.
