It's been a minute though you've finally gotten around to viewing the Fearless MV, which is currently at 2.4 million views on the band's channel, thereby making it the most viewed Rolling Quartz video to date. Still envious as hell that you, your mother and Tiffatron have had the opportunity to see them live so fingers crossed they'll set foot in my neck of the woods here in Oz at some stage. What we really need next from the ladies is a full length album of all original material on par with that of Fearless without the need to resort to covers to pad out the running time of a live performance, which they've clearly shown they're fully capable of doing and that would not only
enable the band to advance to the next level musically but also give them a sense of pride in their work and not that of others.✌️❤️🤘

Great review! I just recently discovered Rolling Quartz, I'm 67 and love to hear good rock...They're awesome and have such energy and joyfulness..I would love to hear them play some Hendrix or Les Zeppelin, Heart, they could definitely sell out anywhere they go. I'm outside of Washington DC I would love to see them..Fantastic!
Glad you enjoyed the video! I discovered them a couple of years ago when they were still relatively new. It has been great to see them grow over the last couple of years. There is a video of IREE playing some Stevie Ray Vaughan which is pretty cool!
I was raised on Hendrix and Santana (and everything in between) as my dad attended Woodstock and stayed till Hendrix played. That being said, I appreciate Rock N Roll and these ladies can play some Rock N Roll!
If you get the chance to see them one day, take advantage of it, its well worth it. They put on a hell of a show!

Hi Shreddawg! I hope you are having a great night. I'm glad you got to react to this one. I think my favorite Rolling Quartz member is whoever is on camera at any given point. If you get a chance, I'm sure you will love their cover of "Reminiscence." Jayoung was especially great in that one. I'm sorry I couldn't get here sooner, but my "wonderful" dogs were taking turns wanting to go outside right at the time you posted the video. It was like a small, handicapped tag team match, two against one.
Yeah I am glad I finally got to this one too, I have heard so many great things about it. It certainly did not let me down (not that I was expecting it to).

Dyk that Arem didn't even want to be a bassist but a lead vocalist instead? Unfortunately she was diagnosed as being tone death. It won't help you if a radical goes on a murderous spree in the streets but it's good to know.🙂
As I said a while back, I knew Rolling Quartz was heading to orbit on popularity! Ever since zitti cover they have done nothing less than improve ever song, getting better and better! Good one Dawg.

I actually had a young co-worker tell me about this band last year, and of course initially thought they were Japanese. So cool that you got to see them. They are a great band with a good attitude.
That is really cool that a co-worker introduced you.
I was lucky enough to have discovered them before they came to the US. I saw their first ever US Show at the Whisky A Gogo in Hollywood. I then saw them again for their first US tour for their LA stop.
They are incredible live, thats all I can say.

I always enjoy checking out Roling Quartz. They have been one of my favorite bands since I discovered them a couple of years ago.
I am sorry it took a while to get to it due to my work schedule, the holidays, and my trip to Japan but I am happy I had the opportunity to finally listen to the song and post a video.

Jayoung's voice in that song is just phenomenal.

RQ sold out every US show. The tour was already set up and "given" to them by Setsuzoku management for BRIDEAR, but was abandon and offered to ROLLING QUARTZ gratis as I understand it.
This song may be their biggest accomplishment to date ... an original work that zoomed to over 2 million views in just a couple of weeks. You know they are going to the EU in January ... and Jayoung was just on the MASKED SINGER in Korea ... it was so obvious, lol. NO ONE sounds like her ... everyone knew.
Anyway, they just had their 3 year anniversary. Its hard to believe the video you and I did is nearly 2 years old now. We are OG fans :p . I am sorry but I have a tremendously difficult time selecting my bias in this band. Each girl has a strong personality that shines through on each song. I think I am stuck with "all of them".

I think a lot of people are drawn to Arem at first, I think she has the most commanding presence, but each member has their own quirks.
At the end of the day, they are all highly skilled at what they do as well.

*Jayoung* - No one can belt it out like her ... just a tremendous singer and an incredible front woman. Every time she sings a single note she is my favorite.
*Yeongeon* - Seems to be everyones favorite ... so shy and quiet until she gets behind that kit. The barefoot drummer, but in the live version of this song she is wearing like ... white shower shoes or something :p . Really the quietest most reserved member when you actually meet them. Kawaii ;) .
*Arem* - my rocker girl. She has the biggest online footprint and has a ton of fans. I used to think she was a tough girl ... but she is a goofball like IREE :p . Has a cat, snails, and sea monkeys as pets
*IREE* - You got it ... her smile. Her happiness is infectious. Also Tae Kwon Do expert ;) . The cameos in this song probably went something like this - Iree ... be serious, can you please stop grinning for a minute ... stop it. Mr. Han, can you make her stop? ... just tell her something sad. Nope ... still grinning. Nevermind, just take the shot
*Hyunjung* - ... who probably does the most to convince me she is actually my favorite. Cool and refined, a classy lady with some wicked riffs. Initially listed as the rhythm guitarist I think her and IREE now share duties. She has earned it. Her totally dissonant solo in this song is a big part of why I love it. She covered Nuno Bettencort - respect.

@@PANIC_aka_PinD After nearly three years of waiting, I (and my mum) finally lucked out and saw them at the Highway to Hell Halloween show in Seoul, where I was positioned right down in front of Hyunjung for their 35-minute set! 😍 Didn't get to actually talk to them, unfortunately, but that should change in a few weeks when they come to London for a full show! I'm fully expecting my brain to fuse; it's already well on the way... 😵💫
I haven't had a chance to see all of Jayoung's KoMS appearance yet, but I've seen some clips, and yeah, it was obvious from Note One that it was her; there's _no_ mistaking that voice (also, I love that the costume she wore, while being keyed to the character she sang as... without the mask looked like something I'd expect her to wear on stage anyway! 😂)... I _also_ also love that her baby Suhye (LimeLight's main vocal) was on the panel (and _naturally_ recognised her teacher's voice...)! 🥰 I don't know if that was deliberate on the part of the producers or just a _massive_ coincidence, but it was lovely to see either way.
_And_ Jayoung made it to the second round! 🤯
As much as I adore every single one of them, Yeong Eun straight-up _owns_ me, and has pretty much since the beginning. I have a natural affinity for drummers anyway (I've never owned a kit, but I have several hand drums, and I'm almost always tapping on _something,_ sometimes to the chagrin of people around me 😏), but watching Yeong Eun go puts me in awe every time; I can't help marvel at how she can produce so many bps with _so few limbs!_ 😂 I refer to her as a swan (or a beautiful duck); she appears so graceful from the waist up, and it seems almost like her hands aren't doing _anything_ compared to the sound being produced... but down below, her feet are pedalling furiously.
Also every time I see her, I genuinely have to remind myself to breathe again... 😳
It's crazy to me that for the longest time, Arem was the only member who _didn't_ have a RUclips channel; when she finally did, she became a vlogging _monster,_ uploading often several times a week, and posting vlogs about shows _hours_ after performing! The amount of times she must have finished a show and then jumped straight into editing mode... 😂 Also, as often as we see Nacho, he's actually her sister's cat. 😉
Also, regarding her "tough girl" image; I still remember their interview with Ryu Sera when Jayoung revealed she was initially intimidated by her when they first met... Arem's "wait, _what?!"_ face was priceless..! 🤣
Iree _can_ stop smiling (see their Helena video)... she just has to try _really hard,_ and a lot of the time, it's just not worth the effort! 😜
Regarding the guitarists, I think most of the time I've seen "lead" and "rhythm" listed, it's mostly been by _other people;_ they may _occasionally_ use those titles themselves, but I think as far as they're concerned (and myself), they're basically both "just" guitarists. I think when they arrange a new song Iree and Hyunjung basically just work out between them who wants to play what, and then they each get to shred in their own style!

Yeah most of the rock and metal have been from the Japan area like Band Maid, Nemophila, Lovebites, Bridear, Aldious, Hades, Fates Gear,Hanabie,Mary's Blood, Show-Ya, and Gacharic Spin all female rock and metal bands in Jrock and Jmetal scene are beyond belief the talent is amazing Lovebites for instance every member of the band is a musical prodigy and Miyako guitarist also is a classically trained Pianist from age 3 so they also mix metal and classical (Swan Song with Chopin Intro)
The music coming out of Japan is just incredible. There are so many amazing bands that have found success and a lot of smaller bands with tons of potential that just never got the exposure they needed to blow up. The ladies of LOVEBITES are incredibly talented, theres no doubt about that.

Yeah they really are great! I remember when I found them a couple years ago I was shocked how good rock music coming out of Korea was!
Whoever is in charge of their marketing is doing a great job.
Yes! I have spoke with several people about how their marketing team is killing it.
There have been some other Korean rock bands that fizzled away, not because a lack of talent or music, but simply because whoever was in charge of marketing really dropped the ball.
