Time to put this on my shopping list for next year. I've been thinking about getting into digital art and this looks like the best tablet to start with. I especially like the button layout on the left side. Price still looks good and it is a lot cheaper on amazon then in my country. Thanks for the video. :)
You're welcome, glad you like the video. I'm very content with the tablet! You can flip it in the settings as well, so it doesn't matter if you're a left hand or a right hand user!

Hello mate, nice informative video, thanks. Do you have any idea how to reverse the direction of the scroll wheel? Going clockwise to zoom in or make the brush bigger seems better and more sensible to me, but I can't figure out how to change it in the driver software.

For image editing software like Darktable < the retouch module>. Is it faster to use a drawing board and pen than a mouse to remove scratches from old photos. Do you recommend drawing boards for photo editing?

You're welcome! This tablet does not have a screen and/or monitor. So you won't be able to project your screen onto it.

Hi Anupriya! Thank you for your question. When you connect this device to your computer or laptop, you can just use it. When you share your screen with Zoom or Teams, people will see your screen and what you are doing. Whether that's with a mouse or the pen. Both will show your output :). I can't increase/decrease the brush size by scrolling the wheel while inside the canvas.
Clicking on the inner circle doesn't give me "Brush Size" option.

Great video. Thanks. Like you, I'm left-handed. I find that my hand keeps hitting the buttons and wheel while I'm drawing. Is there any way to flip it so the buttons are on the right?

After i down it your screen was diferent to my, i have 3 options on the side top one pencil middle one is a mobitor and 3rd one is a gear. How wouls i actualy start drawling with it
If you open up your drawing software, you should be able to use it. What is your OS?

Hello so I downloaded it and all it popped up was the pen thing it never popped up the actual screen for drawing and I don't know how to get there I don't know if I did something wrong or not

I see that you are left handed (like me) and the tablet you show seems to only work for right handed people, with XP-Pen tablets (and Wacom too) you can rotate the tablet so that the buttons and dials are towards the right so you can use the tablet in "left handed mode" this allows to use your pen with your left hand and use your right hand to control the buttons and dials easily and comfortably.
Yes! You can flip everything so you can use it with your left or right hand!
Every time I try to colour in small areas or small strokes it has a fit and starts kinda lagging/buffering trying to open wheels and stuff. I've disabled some options people say cause this problems, but it's impossible to work with atm. Does anyone know how to fix this?
That's weird, I've never experienced that problem. Maybe someone else can help!

Hi,Thanks for the video, I got my new XP-Pen Deco 01 3 days ago, finally got it to work and downloaded Gimp. do you suggest any other programs? It doesn't have to be free, I was thinking of buying photoshop until I discovered you have to pay it monthly....
It works with darktable too! Which is an open source software program for photography (great alternative to lightroom). Inkscape is great too for designing.

You'll need to download apps that you can use it with. For instance GIMP. A free open source alternative to photoshop!

Not that I know of, you need the pen to operate it.
I have a gaomon tablet and I've been trying to enable pressure sensitivity in GIMP 2.10.20 but every time I enable it the brightness and contrast setting pop up. Does this happen to anyone else?
I've been fiddling around with the tablet last week. You can change the pressure sensitivy in the Gaomon program on your computer. Because the pen does offer it (and tablet). So I don't think you'll need to activate it in GIMP too. It just does automatically I guess.

Thank you for the video! over the last two days I have been trying to figure out have to change the pen settings. It makes me double tap the pen to start drawing, when id like for the pen to immediately start drawing as it touched the tablet, do you know how to change this?
Have you tried finding it in the settings? You can select different options for that button. Personally I can just draw straight away
@@RicoResolves I downloaded the gaomon driver, I didnt see an option for that specific pen setting. I also went into my computer settings & change things. Still making me double tap to start drawing it's driving me nuts lol

You can flip it in the setup menu!
I still cannot figure out how to add a program to the shortcut key. What are executable files and how do I find my art program in it?
Navigate to the folder where you've installed the program. That should connect the program to the button.
@@RicoResolves I was able to do a c drive search and it gave me 20 folders. I am sure I’m not doing something right. Is there an article I could read? The manual wasn’t much help.

Just started with this tablet and darktable. I found an issue and would like to ask here, if somebody of you knows a solution. When drawing a path with the pen, the tip of the pen works - as expected - as the left mouse button, but the two buttons on the shaft of the pen have no function. They are configured to be left and right mouse button, but while drawing a path, they have no function. This makes it impossible to end the path without switching from pen to mouse, very annoying. Do you have the same issue? Any ideas to solve that?

Hi Kim! You can use this tablet with programs like GIMP, Illustrator, Inkscape, darktable, photoshop etc. They don't come with the tablet itself!

Do you know if it works with an old Mac running High Sierra? Nothing works 😩. I’ve bought another pen tablet already an it simply doesn’t talk to the Mac, even worse, the computer thinks it’s my keyboard and then I lose the Bluetooth connection to the keyboard and have to plug and unplug the tablet all the time. It’s really enfuriating

You could, but then I guess you'll need to flip the settings upside down too. I'm left handed as well, but this works fine enough. I love it while using GIMP

No, you need the pro version for it to work with android and the phone needs usb OTG function, most phones have this.

The M10k 2018 comes out on top as the best all rounder :)! Personally, I don't have experience with the M106k pro though. They should send me one ;-)!
I know this might seem like a rant, but I have been at this for about 3 hours and I still cannot get my keys to connect to photoshop. whenever I try to use them in photoshop they do nothing, And yes. I've been trying to set them to photoshop but there is literally nothing online that explains this issue. I also cannot get help from friends/ Family. If someone can help that would REALLY be appreciated. Thank you in advance.

I'm not sure because I don't use those programs. Can I download them for free? I can then try for you! Either way, this is a graphics tablet like any other. So it should work with all the programs that other tablets work with too!

@@RicoResolves Yup. It's okay though; I found a work-around where I just made one of the buttons ALT and then I right click on the pen and drag the pen.

That depends on your Internet connection. Shouldn't take long.

Yes it does, without any issues!
