I've had 70+ hours a week lately at my job, for dumb reasons too, so I understand the frustration around work and the drama it can come with - and this YT thing where you're your own boss and help people - it's super enticing for sure.

Sometimes we must take steps to protect our own sanity and mental health, even if it's scary. Good on you for taking those steps. I know it's scary to be on a raft with or without a safety net when you have a family (especially with 6 members) to help support.

Alex, I've enjoyed your content immensely ever since coming across your channel 6-8 months ago. Your ability to put together videos of up to an hour with no material mistakes, hiccups, or cuts/edits amazes me, and I realize that is one factor that made this work amongst your already busy life. You are an amazing speaker and the fact that you are speaking about board games is the gravy on top; I'd listen to you talk about anything. Awesome Alex! I started following your channel around April 2020 when I also started getting into the Kickstarter madness. I’m always amazed how much hard work you put into it knowing you have so many other things happening. I know not having the “security” of a pay check could bring stress, but I’m sure just having the flexibility of owning your time would bring also fresh air. Good luck m8, now you have more time to review all the games. Which will make me want to back/buy them, but I sadly do have to work and wont have nearly enough time to play them all but I will look at them longingly and crack open the boxes every now and them gushing over what could be. Ill have fun when Im retired.
