This was done is for multiple reasons 1) to show off Kawaki karma 2) Shikamaru was held hostage so he couldn’t move 3) plot Naruto could’ve folded Code and Borushiki if he wanted too. Cause in base Naruto was did somewhat decent against Fused Momo who scales above both of those characters. ‘B-but Code is stronger than Isshiki- 🤓’ no Amado said that without limiters he surpasses Jigen not Isshiki.
