    Let's be real, multiple people said horrible things about wwe in other places but then they came back like a hero, it's wrestling and it's life, You say horrible things about people and often then you patch things up, it's life

    I’m glad Booker and Gilmore didn’t throw Punk under the bus/bury him like they have in past episodes. Now, that reaction he got Saturday night was iconic. There are very few that could the same if not top it (Austin, Rock, Hogan to name a few). This is a win-win for Punk and WWE so I’m looking forward to what the future holds.

      When rock, undertaker, Bret, hbk, Cena, randy, stone cold, brock Lesnar etc doesn't have problem with you and have respect for your work.. It says allot about you..
      Punk is very old school... He's problem with wwe was his ego clashing with triple h's ego... Not unprofessional behavior in locker room...
      punk acts like locker room leader? 😂So what? Punk is second most popular star after Cena this generation... He's the definition of polarised wrestler which wwe brands roman reigns as...

    I'm not surprised in the slightest with Punk calling WWE home. 10 years ago that relationship disintegrated in epic fashion but his career was at its peak then. And calling WWE home was a way to chum up to viewers. HHH also said Punk was "home where he belongs." That is a good marketing narrative to have. There probably truth to that too

      I should hope so. I think maybe Punk rubbed him the wrong way back in the day but he’s obviously much older and wiser now. Punk gets a bad rap, partly because of his mouth and partly because he’s outspoken and believes in himself. Maybe it was professional jealousy? Not for me to say. But Booker and Punk are legitimately two of my all time favorites and it kind of pains me to know there might still be some lingering animosity there.

  • @Matt-cr4vv

    It may or may not be genuine but to me it doesn’t matter. It isn’t a new thing that guys leave WWE and trash it only to return. But I could see him appreciating WWE more now than before because his personality was always a WWE more than AEW. Punk has always been a guy who gets into conflict for what he think is best for business and in WWE he may have lost the fights but there was always somebody to put their foot down. In AEW Matt Hardy on his podcast has said that Tony will kill an idea that he wants to do if a wrestler says they don’t want to do it.
    If you’re Punk and you e always been up to fight over an idea you think is best going to a place where the boss will brush aside the best business move to accommodate personal feelings may lead to appreciating the other place more. And we’ve all had that where we think one job is the worst thing ever onto to appreciate that job way more when we move on and experience a diffeent place. So maybe he’s full of it and I don’t care but I could also totally see him appreciating WWE more now after seeing how much worse the entire Elite conflict turned out to be when the person who handled it is a boss who will put feelings over the business. Keep in mind you’re expecting a guy who came from a company that did a story line within months between edge and Matt hardy and trusted them to be professionals to be cool with a story that could’ve been used like their conflict to do huge business being passed on for personal feelings?

    • @decepticonxhunter4850
      @decepticonxhunter4850 11 месяцев назад

      When he went to AEW, Punk took every opportunity to bash WWE. He even went so far as to say the company was killing him, and that he'd rather retire for good than go back there. And yet, here he is....back in WWE.

    • @knightshousegames
      @knightshousegames 11 месяцев назад +1

      @@decepticonxhunter4850 I mean, that isn't true.
      He definitely didn't take overt shots the way some others have like Moxley, Brodie Lee, Cody Rhodes etc.
      He only took shots that were set up for him as part of storylines like against MJF, where one of his character traits at the time was boasting about possibly signing with WWE in 2024 for heat.
      I think he is back in WWE literally just to spite the EVPs, which is understandable, since they blew that one by being immature children. He probably would have never gone back otherwise.

    Where's Stevie Ray?

  • @knightshousegames
    @knightshousegames 11 месяцев назад

    Well, first off....there are golf courses with green grass in Arizona.... Just sayin...
    My feeling is this, I think he is going to become the exact character the "hardcore" fans never wanted to see him become. He's going to say things like "I'm home" just to make the kind of fans he used to cater to most angry, and become the exact corporate, "John Cena" esque "Sellout" version of himself on purpose, as a dig at fans of The Elite, and make a ton of money doing it, as a shot at Tony Khan himself. He screwed up big time firing Punk literally the day of a show in Chicago, and Punk is going to hit him where it hurts by taking his biggest fans with him back to the competition
    The way I see it, he probably still has hard feelings for WWE, and probably wrestling in general, so now if he's gonna do it just as a "job", he might as well do it somewhere that is going to pay him, and get back at the EVPs by taking his business to the direct competition.
    In an ideal world for me, WWE would be good, AEW would be good, lots of companies would be good, and I'd watch them all and enjoy them all.

    wwe will take him back if he will bring in money. for him is a different story, going back after bad mouthing about wwe is like running back with his tail between his legs. the lesson here is never bad mouthing about your ex employer. you never know when you're going back.
