I live in Canada and I have worked as a chef for decades. I have been the head chef and usually hire all my own kitchen staff. Of all the different nationalities Filipino people are the nicest in the whole world. They like to have fun, they work hard and I never had a problem with any of them and I was a tough boss. Filipino people are family orientated and they have the nicest smiles.
This country is becoming very popular. It’s so chaotic and difficult to get around but everyone loves it because of the people. I love the way they laugh. They put me in a good mood always.

Generally, Filipinos or "Pinoys" are easy-to-get-along-with folks. Simple in life, happy always mood, always put a smile on their faces.. we don't want dull moments, too so we do ways to keep us happy even in the simplest but meaningful ways. 👍

City people mostly are busy people but if you go in provinces places in the Philippines you can literally talk to local anyone the whole day like you've been friends since very young.
I am from Pakistan Married with a phillipina. I worked in Saudi Arabia with phillipinos and I visited Philippines too.i have many phillipino friends. My experience is very good about phillipino. They are friendly loving peoples and good heart about Islam and Pakistan. Love you from Pakistan

They are friendly. If you meet someone you know on the streets, he will ask you where you going to, or where you have been. So if you are missing the next day, you could readily located.
It’s obvious mostly foreigners get the friendly treatment. Former pinoys or locals do not get such treatment and get no extra attention. They are seen as “one of us.” In reality, it’s a good thing to get no extra attention. Blending in and acting local is the best way to not get scammed or rob.

In Russia there are baskets with bricks in them at street crossings. You carry a brick as you cross the street. Make sure the drivers see your brick. Then you put it in the basket on the otherside.

@@Livingabroadalex We have a similar problem here in Japan, except with cats. Thankfully, volunteers do TNR (trap, neuter, and release), with the help of a veterinarian so the cats can no longer continue having so many kittens. (Cats can have kittens 3x/year).

Consider that Manila has 2M people. Any other city that big or bigger, most people are in their own world and get quite apathetic.
