I rolled my eyes at this guy when I first saw his first sermon of one of one, but I watched and learned, was like he is too handsome & smart to struggle in love, a little part of me also thought he ain't hurt about his part relationship. Forgive me Lord for jumping to conclusions, the Lord really used him to put the uncommon truth out there... I WAS SOOOOO BOTHERED!! I Worried more than I believed and had zero clarity of what the next step of my life will be, Now I know that the key is trusting God and be so unbotherered ,,knowing God got me, I gotta just stick to living in my purpose.
Busting in tears as I type this, God loves us as we are no matter our past choices
Love, being loved, being in love and being hurt has nothing to do with looks. That’s one of the biggest mistakes we make; satan does not wear a devil suit! Satan looks like that beautiful person who hurt you

Him and Meaghan Good were super duper in love and very close. It was a massive shock to anyone who followed their relationship from the start. I believe they still love each other but the problem is, Meagan was forced to become someone she is not because Devon is a pastor and is tied to the church and the church people were brutal towards Meg. There was an interview they did where someone from the crowd interrupted and made some nasty comments about her looks. Devon was amazing and jumped to her defense and he tried to protect her but there is only so much 1 man can do. The whole establishment and that way of life just didn't agree with her and I believe that's why it ultimately had to end. Very sad. Meg is that all-accepting, all-loving Cali girl, she is a hippie at heart but the establishment wanted her to be the judgy prude first lady of the church. It's just not her personality.
@@newleft2254 great reply! I didn’t know all this you wrote of. Maybe he will fall in love with a more “Christlike”, or churchy woman. There is an over abundance of closet hippie types, beautiful women in the churches.
The Bible describes satin as the best looking angle in heaven and Jesus was just ordinary in appearance.
Devon is on fire for God! It’s sooooo encouraging to see how his faith has only grown stronger despite what he’s been through. 🙏🏾🙌🏾
I don't know how he's on fire he's been dating me and his red flags was he was asking me for money all the time and he is and he deceived women's because I've been dating him for a long time what made me mad he did not get me a Christmas gift but he was yet still trying to take money

Wow! Devon, you have just confirmed so much for us, unmarried and unbothered. I still believe in marriage, but for now I will stay in my assignment while in the waiting season. I am so grateful for having listened to this sermon. I believe God will give me a husband who is God fearing and aligned to my values. I will keep trusting him in the waiting season.
I'll be 50 soon. I'm trying to be at peace. If God wants me to be alone then I accept it but it's sad. The years go by and i only imagine what it's like to have someone invite me to the movies. It would be so lovely - I imagine.
41:41 "The culture is sick." Very accurate, loaded observation,... Disconnecting from the culture was the best decision I ever made. Grow closer to God, grow with Him.
I'm 41an still single. I pray 🙌🏾 every night and day.

What he says is true, and I will need to come back to this over the holidays. The holidays are the worst time of the year for me because I'm always wanting someone to cuddle with and kiss me under the mistletoe. Yes, it's hard, and yes, there are some times I cry myself blind during an otherwise happy holiday season, but I should be happy regardless because I know God holds me in His hand and He's gotten me through far worse things than being bothered about my singleness during the holidays.
Not only did she align with her assignment which I believe was Naomi. She was a blessing to Naomi for her to see the commitment Ruth had to the assignment and her God. Just wow

I always sense that question: Why are you single?”; was the seed of the devil to kill and destroy the garment of praise and confidence in singleness the Lord has planted in me. I always knew it. How can they not see how happy I am now but look 👀 what is not to make me feel like an handicap
Jesus is Lord. He will build his church on my singleness and the gate of hell won’t prevent it

It's refreshing to hearing a single person talk and encourage being single without making wanting a relationship an idol. Growing up in church singles was always in the shadow of couples and it was always a married person telling single ppl to be happy by themselves. Being single and unbothered is a good look. Thank you Yeshua for wholeness 🙏🏾🙌🏾
