My late grandmother, Gladys Hiscock (Loder) lived there with my grandfather, Allison Hiscock and raised my dad John and Uncle Norman. She used to live across the street from what is now the boat museum and ran a shop where everyone there knew her as "Aunt Glad". I spent many summers there when I was a kid and in the spring when I come down for my vacation, I can NOT wait to see Winterton again :)
