    sad that a MULTIMILLION dollar company doesn’t have a customer service system that works. all of my playlists, downloaded music and liked songs are gone and i can’t even talk to a real person to fix it

      I just upgraded my spotify account and it’s showing that it is a free account my profile picture also changed and most songs and playlists are missing

      Hi Vickie! We're not sure we understand as Spotify is a streaming app and doesn't access your phone's contacts or store any photos. Can you give us some details?

    I subscribed to the premium and it only worked in my Xbox and not my phone

      Hi, apologies for the late reply! You need to make sure that you're logged into the right account on all of your devices, it could be that you started the subscription on an account that's different from the one on your phone. Try logging out and logging back in with the email address that you used for your subscription. If you're still having difficulties, reach out to our CS team and they will be able to help guide you.

      Hey Krista! Are they missing on multiple devices or just on one particular one? Might be worth it to log out and log back in twice in a row to force a resync and to ensure you're logged into the correct account. Keep us posted!

    I'm trying to buy Spotify premium with student discount but I keep clicking on the 59 rupees/month and it doesn't work

      Hi! This can be caused by an invalid browser session. Try to subscribe to the discount again via an incognito window or with a different browser altogether. Let us know if it still doesn't work.

      Hi! This issue occurs when the browser saves your previous session while you weren't yet verified. To avoid this, retry in an incognito browsing session or like PandaVerse, try a different browser altogether.

    My 1y premium expired and I lost all liked songs and some playlists. I bought back premium 1y again but this did not recover the playlists or liked songs. I also checked in “recover playlists” on the site, but couldn’t see them. I have tried on different devices, checked in logged in correctly, and logged in and out multiple times. Can you help?

      Hi! Liked songs and in general all contents of your library and your playlist aren't tied to your subscription. These depend solely on your account and are the same no matter if you're using Free or Premium. If you're not seeing your items, this means you've logged into a different account. The "recover playlist" section being empty also would confirm this, as otherwise it would be populated by whatever got deleted. Have you maybe used a different loging method than usual - if you have logged in with let's say Google in the past, that's not the same account as if you try logging in with an email or via Facebook, etc. Check your login details and make sure they're the same that you've always used. If you still can't access your former content, reach out to our CS team and they'll be able to help you confirm the correct login for the account with your music collection.

      Hi Mike! Check if when you open this link www.spotify.com/account/manage-your-plan/ it shows you're Premium. If it does, open this link: www.spotify.com/account/profile/ and confirm that the email that shows there is the same one that is displayed when you go to the mobile Spotify app > Settings > Email. If it isn't, it means you're logged into a different account on your device. Let us know how it goes.

    Hey its an amazing app ,but i have a problem with the podcast and shows feature. for some reason i can not play any podcast link or even access the podcast feature!( i do get the whats new catogory but they are empty ) . I have a premium individual account aswell. Please fix this or let me know what i could do

    I logged into my family premium account and it says im connected but on my spotify app says im not connected to premium

      Hi! It could be that you have multiple accounts. Check with the Family plan manager (if that's not you) if the account they see on the plan management page matches the one logged into your app. If something looks off, switch accounts to the one that's visible on the plan page and you should see the Premium features enabled there.     I just logged into my Spotify account with a new device and I lost all my playlists and downloaded songs it’s a premium family account and it’s updated. What do I do?, I’m sure of my login details

      Hi there! A user's library and playlist are stored safely on the server side and available on all devices they log into with the same account, no changes occur when changing subscriptions either. We understand that you're sure of your login details, but this really does sound like you're accessing a fresh account. Can you double-check again? Make sure to use the same login method (email, Facebook, Google, Apple, phone number, etc.) like you're used to as choosing a different one will create a new account with that sign up method. Let us know if you managed to resolve this.

    I am facing a problem with my playlist and its not the one I made its the one I was following actually it happened to every Playlist... Like for example I typed Justin bieber playlist even if the songs are there in the playlist it does not play and the ones I heard earlier like most played ones they are showing that it's empty....

      Hi! If you're having issues with a playlist that is not your own, most likely the playlist was modified by the owner and you're seeing the results of the changes. To avoid this from happening you can always make copies of a playlist by clicking the three dot menu next to a playlist's name and select "Add to other playlist" to copy all songs at the same time. There're over a billion playlists on Spotify however, so maybe you'll find one that is similar to the one that got changed ✌️

    all my songs are gone because my account was disabled BY the company for 90 days... over 260 songs are just gone

      Hi! This sounds odd as we don't disable accounts temporarily. In addition, the songs are stored on the account and disabling an account only restricts access but doesn't change anything with the data stored on it. Make sure that you're logging in using the correct account details, because it could be that you're logging into a secondary account instead of your main one.       Hi Aleena! No worries, your playlists are safe with us and no changes to a user's library occurs when a subscription is started. Please double-check your login details, it sounds like you might be logging into a fresh account. It's important to use the same login method (email, Facebook, Google, phone number, etc.) as you're used to as any new method automatically generates a new account.       Hi! This can happen if your subscription was purchased on an account that is different from the one you're logging in to. Double check your subscription status on your account page www.spotify.com/account/overview/. If it shows as Premium, check the login details and log in on the app using the same email address that you saw on the account page.

      Hi there! Have you enabled Offline Mode in the app's settings? Check out the "Switch to Offline Mode" section on the article here for more info: support.spotify.com/article/listen-offline/. If you don't activate Offline Mode, the app will still try to connect to the internet and that can cause issues in a situation where you have a poor connection. Let us know how that goes!

    Good day. I’ve been trying to subscribe to premium but it says card decline. I kept on trying but when I checked my account I found they deducted the money and were still taking charges from the times I kept trying
    I rushed back to check if it showed on the Spotify site but nothing changed. I checked the receipts yet nothing. I checked the app yet nothing. I’m still on free mode and my money has been deducted
    What do I do?

First up make sure to confirm if the charges you're seeing are not just pending - this means that a payment attempt was initiated but they've not completed. If that's the case the funds will be returned automatically (the time this takes varies by bank).     Actually, I just realised how my account was hacked thanks to Spotify Wrapped; the top artist was the one I never knew. Anyone who can help me with this? How is it even possible that the artists I listen to were in 2nd place and unknown artists and songs were in 1st place? Is this some tie-up between artists and Spotify or what?
    FYI, after resetting the password, this started to happen.
