Hey mate! Your arm is looking good, you can see a difference from the other videos. Less red, looks more settled and blended. Cant wait to follow you during your stage 2 process! Sending some more love from Quebec 😘👌🏻
+Elise Laframboise Thank you! Yes I think the same, seems to be much more blended. Sending much love back to you, have a great week!
I am going to show this to my brother he can learn a thing or two from your experience. He has been questioning whether he should just go for it or not. He is going to be so happy when he watches this. Thank you so much for being an inspiration, and a mentor for the trans community!!
+Ayya Sbu Shsmleh Ah so kind! happy to help!
Hi Finn. Great vid, very useful tips thanks. Nice healing going on there. I have a question but forgot... will listen to the end of your vid again :-)
This isn't the original question but... how long after surgery could you use graft arm with computer to type?
Thanks mate. I was typing one handed till about 8 weeks then gradually became able to use the graft arm more but would have to give it lots of study breaks as typing with it would make it swell
+FinnTheInfinncible Oh blimey. I'd better learn how to type one handed!! :-/ Thanks though. This is something I need to take into account.
+Rockin' UK I found it a bit of a battle with study, had to ask for extra time as sitting in a chair typing was painful on all areas!!!
FinnTheInfinncible Thanks, I see the problem!! :-/ But you made it through. Yay!
It does sound incredibly painful. I'm glad you're healing well x
+Gary C It was indeed! Worth it though...I think of it like child birth....bloody painful (Im told!) but once its over and you have this beautiful baby suddenly the pain is forgotten.....!
You're a darling and a champion. Go FINN!
+RealPoodlebear And you are lovely! Thank you so much!
Watched a few of your videos now. You're such a beautiful man
+Bianka Bell Bless you my friend, not a new subscriber, a new member of the Finn-fam! welcome! Thank you so much for your incredibly kind words :)
+FinnTheInfinncible aha, yes, my mistake :-)
+Bianka Bell :D :D
Fantastic video.very clear and educational, Thank You so much for sharing, All the best xx
+Jan Butler Glad to hear that, thank you!
OMG yes changing dressings on my own arse every day with the use of only one arm, I still don't know how I did that!
+Frank Little god mate neither do I!! Im so glad I had help, it is amazing though what we find ourselves able to manage!!
Finn yer arm looks great but I can't wait til part 2. I bet you are too!!!
Thanks my friend! Yes I am now incredibly eager for stage two! Working hard to not get too frustrated!!!
Hey mate, I was just wondering who was your surgeon? And I'm glad everything is going well!
Hi my friend. Yes I'm really well. Bring on stage two! My surgeon was mr Christopher
Dude... again thank you so much for this info. Holy shit I think I might well struggle on my own. Gotta do what ya gotta do! I wonder if I linger around a jet wash long enough, someone might hose me off? I'm sure others have managed. God I'm a pussy when it comes to pain, yet I still can't wait to go through all this... WEIRD.
I'll hose you down! Lol. It is painful but when we need something so badly the need becomes greater than the pain. Plenty of people do manage this op alone so it is do able. Just see if there are some people you can find to help you with little stuff like shopping and make sure to stay in touch with the community online
That was really helpful thanks dude ✌
Thank you and my pleasure!
Did you do any surgeries before phalloplasty? Like hysterectomy or anything? I’ve heard there’s steps
Yes my friend, here in the UK, phalloplasty is done in three stages. Penis created in the first stage, urethral hook up and hysterectomy in second and erectile device in the third. Here is a link to my playlist with every stage in detail ruclips.net/p/PL-xdbMjLqelIou2jJHlgHoUGz60WeCPOv
Hey Finn, maybe an odd question - is the nerve in your side going to be moved in second stage or will you always feel it in the side? Great video :)
+Leo Not an odd question at all my friend! The nerve stays where it is, it goes through the phallus and into a muscle (or something!) on or near the lower abdomen. Somehow, through the bodies amazing adaptability, my brain and nerves will rewire and that feeling will be in my penis eventually....thats what I get told from other guys further on whose bodies have adapted. Its crazy huh!!! Gives me an excuse to keep playing with myself ;)
+FinnTheInfinncible Wow that's great! I've got my appointment with Mr Christopher on Tuesday and I've just been binge watching your videos for the past couple months getting clued up on the details - I recently messaged you on tumblr, not sure if you remember. Taking notes on all your tips ;)
+Leo ah brilliant!!! so glad to help! I do remember I think! trouble is people often have different youtube and tumblr names so I do get confused! good luck with mr Christopher . go armed with questions because he says very little!!!!
+FinnTheInfinncible I was howtocreatehappy! I'm keeping track of all the questions that pop up hahaha, thanks for sharing your journey, can't say it enough!
+Leo Brilliant! I am going to make a list of all the q and a's at some point!
Even after the surgery,
were you allowed to take your testosterone? and how long did it take until you were able to walk normally?
My testosterone is given every ten weeks so that wasn't effected . You should be ok to have it a few days after just check with yr surgeon. I was walking much better once the staples were out at 14 days post op but still having some discomfort . Walking was probably more normal by about 6 weeks post op
nearly burst in to tears watching this, i am dreading the whole thing but as you said it will be worth it in the end. Thanks for sharing buddy
bless you my friend! nerves are so very very normal. this op is huge! but in the grand scheme of things it's just a tiny period of life, the pain goes and you are left with something so wonderful in return..the feeling of peace! so very worth it!! if I can ever help please feel free to pop over to the finn Fam page!
cheers man and yes your very true its only a small part of life just be glad when its all done and im sure you feel the same, your videos have helped me a lot appreciate you sharing your experience thank you again mate
+Wun Hi my pleasure my friend. just paying it forward. and yes I feel the same. I wil be so glad when all this is over surgery wise. it's been exhausting . the mini mile stones along the way..like now being able to pee stood up..makes it all so worth it
Glad you feeling okay man and getting through everything okay and thats great bet your feeling 100% times better your almost there now buddy wooohoooo :)
+Wun Hi I really am!! relief! will be updating tomorrow . thanks so much my friend
So I have a few questions as usual :)..... Does insurance covers all of of these procedures in the UK or do you have to come up with money on your own? second for us non British people how many pounds is a stone and lastly you need to get more Stevia my friend lol
+Zublime75 Hello! The NHS covers everything here, we just have to pay for prescriptions. We can choose to go private but it is incredibly expensive to pay out of pocket for phalloplasty, something like £50,000
A stone is 14 pounds, I have lost 13 ponds since Jan!
Love stevai! Though I have stopped taking sugar completely now, even replacements, the pot is now used for the gerbils seeds!
Have a great weekend my friend!
Hey Finn! 😊 were you able to take your next shot of T, after op as usual?
hiya! I'm on nebido so there's ten weeks between my shots and yes it was fine 😀
+FinnTheInfinncible That's good to know... Wasn't sure if your buttock would be up to it! But I guess 10weeks is quite a long time.
After a couple of timing blips, I start T on Wednesday 😊🙌🏽💥Whoop!
+Ethan James oh my god that's amazing!!!!! so pleased for you!!!!!
+FinnTheInfinncible I am mainly walking around with my mouth open and my eyebrows raised 😆
+Ethan James oh god I remember that well! I was on the ceiling for days once T was in sight!!!!!
hey finn how its going ? why did you choose to take part of your arm instead of your leg? and does it really looks like a real one?
+Saedy Espinal My penis is a real penis and yes it will look like any other males penis once all three surgeries are complete.
I chose forearm as it gives the best results sensation wise
+FinnTheInfinncible what about the other part of the body? they have less sensation?
+Saedy Espinal the different types of lower surgery give different results in feeling, looks and function. In terms of feeling , forearm is said to give the best result but you do get feeling with the others too. Heres some more info

You look a bit like Justin Timberlake, I think it's the eyes. I just wanted to wish you all the luck and love in the world
You are so kind! Thank you :)
thank you for the info. man
my pleasure! always very happy to help when I can!!!
Yeah deffinitly info you wouldnt be able to find without Someone actully going through with it
Hi Finn! I am so pleased for you with everything - you give me so much hope for the future! I have enjoyed following your journey and I will be starting mine soon! top surgery in a couple of weeks! eek! I was wondering if you would mind checking out a project I am working on to outline issues of transitioning on the NHS in the uk - a documentary that focusses on the issues surrounding surgery loopholes through NHS and the reasons i have scraped together to go privately blah blah rather than the 'bodily' sense that a lot of documentaries have looked at before. www.indiegogo.com/projects/departures--2#/ - so pleased for you and your journey! glad you are well xxx
+Dylan Fox Hey my friend! Wonderful to pass on hope, thats all I wish for! I will certainly have a look, congrats on starting this awesome journey and all the best of luck with surgery!
I thought the hysterectomy came before a phalloplasty
It depends on the type of phalloplasty and where the surgery takes place. Over here in the UK with radial artery phalloplasty the hysto is second stage
+SuperDjguy We have a choice of having it beforehand or during.
+Frank Little I didnt have a choice, well unless I got it done separately before starting the phallo surgery stages.
How can you afford all this? Oh, NHS. So everyone in the UK pays for these surgeries. hm
No I'm the same as everyone else in the UK,.entitled to NHS care. We all pay in, we are all entitled.
