    When I first had surgery my penis was about 5 inches, which is what me and my doc had agreed on. Over the next 5-6 months it shrunk to 4 inches exactly. I would measure it all the time hoping it would “stretch” back out. It never did. What I realized though is that I never actually felt bad about my penis size while I was using it; only when I had the tape measure in my hand. So I just stopped measuring it and it really hasn’t bothered me since.

      Exactly this! Size is really not relevant at all is it, it's being happy in our own bodies

    • @pmbluemoon
      @pmbluemoon 4 года назад +30

      It's not the size that matters, it's how you know how to use what you have 😁 Being I'm in transition, I've noticed that smaller is better most of the time, and also girth can be a problem. I dated a cis male who was as big as my wrist in girth, and he couldn't even get it in I'm a small person 5 foot 2 inches, and he was VERY frustrated at his size. I realized then that bigger is NOT better for the average person.

    • @andreaberryman5354
      @andreaberryman5354 2 года назад +2

      Shockingly, most men think average is 8", and their 5" is tiny. So same thing!😝

    • @andreaberryman5354
      @andreaberryman5354 2 года назад

      The erect vagina is about 5" long, so anything over 5" hurts.🤷‍♀️

    I found out that after losing so much weight, I have excess skin around my belly, and if I wanted to do phalloplasty, that would be the best place to have a skin graft because it would be like a tummy tuck with a phallo at the same time. I would also not have any skin graft scars in any region of my body. I'm still contemplating this option of course, but it's another option I wanted to share in here just in case anyone was interested 👍😁
    Thank you for being candid about the technicalities of choosing a size, I didn't realize it made that big of an issue with urethral hookup. Yet another reason I'm taking my time deciding if I want to do metoidio or phallo. You're the best! 💖😎💪🥰👏

    I’ve found that most surgeons are very discriminatory in their language when recommending the size of your phallus. When asking for larger than “average” they tend to argue it not being sexually pleasurable to your female spouse, assuming you are a heterosexual trans male and it won’t fit your body size. I chose a surgeon that did not use this toxic language and instead lead with asking my top goals and expectations. We only spoke of size after we agreed on a donor site and options of UL or not. Feedback for surgeons is to stop saying “average” bc this is discriminatory to races and assuming those may not want smaller or larger.

I was told nobody scars in the leg where they take the split thickness graft. Not true. My leg is still itchy too. My penis looks pretty good though I ended up with 5.25 in length and 4.50 in girth. I regret the graft choice . I wanted more girth. Maybe the implants might make me abit more thicker. I think Alt is the better choice. I think if size is a consern don't choose RFF. If I opted for phalloplasty, would I be able to choose a two inch penis? For Rfff. I know metoidioplasty can range from a few cm to a couple of inches, but if i dont get the growth outcome i wanted, phalloplasty would be my next option. And I care about size, but I don't at the same time, hence why I'm saying 2 inches, I'd be happy with 2 inches and comfortable with two inches, any bigger than 3 or any smaller than one would cause me some severe dysphoria. And I'm glad I know what I'm comfortable and not comfortable with. But I just don't know how small, is too small for phalloplasty.

    • @FinnTheInfinncible
      @FinnTheInfinncible  2 месяца назад +1

      Hi my friend. I completely understand because I had the exact same questions at the beginning of my journey and I talked about this in my videos and in my book. I wasn't sure I wanted full phalloplasty, but equally I felt meta might be too small for me.
      I discussed this with Mr Christopher, who said that he could make me a smaller penis, taking a smaller graft. This would be the same procedure as phallo, but that I could have a smaller size. The only thing with this is that I wouldn't be able to have the erectile device as there wouldn't be the room.
      It's worth discussing it with the team as it's definitely an option.
      In the end after weighing things up I did decide to go full phalloplasty
      I think this is the video I discuss this in. I hope it helps

      I also have one more question. If I were to opt for phalloplasty, can I still have scrotoplasty and keep my... woman hole. Or would closure of that hole be required in order to have it done. Personally, I'd feel comfortable with or without balls and to keep that hole there at the same time. And if they can keep the hole there while achieving scrotoplasty, would the balls separate in order to access that hole, or would they be placed higher up so penetrative sex is still possible..

    So do they put a donor graft on your arm? If so where are they getting the grafts from? Reason is it seems like in the past ive heard there are often shortages (for burn injuries, etc.)
    Do they have you wait for times of surplus? (since I imagine there is a shelf life, which creates a 'use it or lose it' situation with the graft material), or are there synthetically grown grafts that you pay to have grown?
    I have no idea how any of this is done, but I guess my concern is that i wonder if anyone else really asks, becauss while I can imagine several ways it could be done properly, i could also definitely imagine some politicians desparate to pander for votes making rules that cause some graft material to be diverted from places that could cause major backlash that could seriously harm your community. Particularly if you are in a nation with socialized medicine that also bans cash procedures, forcing all graft material to come from possibly one supply. Idk does this make sense?
    I'm not trying to criticize, but rather im thinking out loud that if I were in ypur shoes i would be interested in making sure the politicians and medical community was regulating this in such a way that wouldnt cause a backlash later on...mainly as living in the USA with the DNC considering stepping away from LGBTQ rights (basically forsaking
    LGBTQ to pander to the growing Catholic Latino vote instead), this kind of stuff has been on my mind alot.

    What would happen to trans men if they stopped taking hormones?

    • @FinnTheInfinncible
      @FinnTheInfinncible  3 года назад +1

      Some of the masculising features would reverse, fat would redistribute to a more female pattern, hair growth would slow. How much would depend on whether the person had a hystorectomy or not.

    Odd question: What did they use for a cartilage substitute?

    • @FinnTheInfinncible
      @FinnTheInfinncible  4 года назад

      They dont, there is no cartilage in a penis. cis or trans. To get erect, rather than erectile tissue, the surgeros use an erectile device. I have a whole playlist explining that surgery and how it works ruclips.net/p/PL-xdbMjLqelLGAQbUso3HTU_ode4a2zCl

      Anything can be done really, but with anything, the risks and complications must be weighed up.

    • @FinnTheInfinncible
      @FinnTheInfinncible  3 года назад +6

      Thats ok, you only know if you know! I dont mind being asked anything when it is asked with consideration. And no, we cannot produce sperm. Surgery can recreate a penis but not the testes etc

      @@FinnTheInfinncible I have another question does a ftm penis get hard or an erection when they're in the mood or turned on by someone like a cis man?

    • @user-xe2hf6fi8d
      @user-xe2hf6fi8d 2 года назад +1

      For metodioplasty, yes. For phalloplasty, which is what Finn got, no. However there are currently two options for devices you can have added to the penis to serve this function. They are called "semi-rigid rod" and "inflatable" penile implants.

    I'm curious, can straight men opt for phalloplasty or nah? Thanks SML!

    • @FinnTheInfinncible
      @FinnTheInfinncible  3 года назад +6

      Well phalloplasty creates a penis for men who dont have one, so yes, if a straight man doesnt have a penis and wants one then yes he can have phalloplasty
