I don't know if it's ongoing, but I found records of a lawsuit between Blair Russell Entertainment and Jorge dating back from Nov 6 2023
I just checked it out, it looks like that case was actually BRP suing Jorge to gain the copyrights to the entirety of EPIC, not just the first two sagas, which is despicable. He CREATED the musical FFS, and had been posting videos of his journey making it for years before BRP came into the picture, thankfully BRP ended the lawsuit, how dare they have tried to steal the rights to it along with the royalties. I knew Jay had built the booth and had been doing work at home, now I know why. Because the people with the studio betrayed him and stole from him. Shame on you, BRP. So excited for the re-releases and for Thunder Saga, though!

@@TabaxiDragon the epic cover mafia started like five days ago when a bunch of people who usually do epic covers in the epic cover channel On the Discord decided to challenge the cast (as a joke) and we started scheming and meming too hard on the epic covers channel so the mods warned us, we moved to our own server and our current goal is getting jorge's attention, we are also extremely good at getting stuff on the starboard and thats pretty much it

Hey, thank you for speaking up about this. I got introduced around the Underworld Saga, which was just a little bit before my Wisdom Teeth got pulled. This musical helped me find the courage to see it through without fear, and ironically, today, the day before the new Saga releases, I went on vacation, listening to the songs of Epic as I went through the airport.
In other words, it's absolutely disgusting how Blair Russel and co. have taken your hard work for themselves. That's a cartoonish level of evil I didn't even know was possible. I look forward to the new versions of the Troy and Cyclops sagas, and especially the Thunder Saga!
I joined this community less than a week after Thunder Saga dropped and animatics started popping up everywhere. I also watched the interview with Jorge and his friends. Then I found out what BR did and got so, very upset. How does one do that and think there won't be repercussions? Greed really does blind people to what is right and wrong, but the music of EPIC is now in the right hands, and I couldn't be happier for Jorge.
I’m so freaking excited for all of this, but seriously GIVE THE EPIC CAST THEIR MONEY like it’s so obnoxious that companies do that to artists but I’m glad that something good can come out of it.
