In regard to the buttons, you're probably trying to squeeze them between your hand and the deck. If you instead try to push as if you're trying to push into the screen they are much easier to press. I was doing that too.
I believe they increased the force because they got reports of people accidentally squeezing their deck in the moment and pressing them, and that also takes them out of the experience.

my main issue I've had with my deck is the keyboard is absolute garbage . nothing but issues trying to input text while in desktop mode
Press towards the screen on the flat part of the back buttons not sideway towards the handles.
Will check Distance next week in my lib - odd that it didn't like the controls 🤔

Hades && Devil May Cry play like different games with additional back button mappings. It's almost like a cheat to be able to execute some button combos so quickly 🙂
