I don’t know anyone who is saying that black lives don’t matter. The phrase if often dismissed because it represents a sentiment that no one is disputing. However, see this modern-day statement as an expression rooted in historical context changes everything. BTW. I am not referring to the thugs and anarchist use of this phrase, but the legitimate and reasoned rationale flowing from responsible and accountable people. Again, the principle of Black Lives Matter vs the organization, “Black Lives Matter.”
The unionists back in the 1960s, that he mentions, were protesting conditions that were present at that time. This guy is wanting to live in the past, in eras when he didn't even live, without admitting the great progress that has been made. Christians are supposed to be willing to forgive past offenses and live in the present.
