Now, that makes sense to me, anchoring the float! And, I have now done a row this way. Wonderful instruction. (I have to tell a funny story, I had never used a stitch-marker. My friend gave me one when I was knitting a sock. When I was all done, I asked him why I used a stitch marker? It was knit into the sock, many rows down. He said "you're supposed to move it every row!" It was so funny to me I left it in there.
Glad you liked it and that it made sense. Camera work is not always the greatest angle for really getting in there and seeing how to do things. Cheers!
Senior moments ahe… one time I was looking for my reading glasses and I actually had two pairs resting on my head. That’s the epitome of reading glasses. I loved your story about the stitch marker. I may use that one day, only saying something like, “I have a friend who….” Cheers. Enjoy your weekend. We have lots of snow and cold. Our neighbour who is slightly younger than Stan (about 78) is snow blowing our driveway this morning. Great neighbours. We are so blessed. We have a snow blower but he beats us to the path…lol…
@@Yarntalesandthreads Yes, you are blessed. And so is your neighbour. Yeah, at some point while knitting the sock, Steven gave me this round stitch marker, so, I put it on the needle and kept going till it was done, LOL!
@elainer6499 And… you knit socks. I did that maybe once in my lifetime, knit socks for a fellow I knew. He wore them through in a month. After that I decided not to knit socks again, however, maybe one day, socks for lounging…lol…Cheers!

I got a laugh out of your husband looking for his glasses.
